This 5 star review is largely based on Alesia Hillman performance, attitude, and energy. She is absolutely amazing and she couldn't be more pleasant and informative. She made my wife and I so comfortable and really helped us with wonderful suggestions and guidance. However, when we went to pick up our tiles the woman at the counter (who was apparently filling in from another store) was a nightmare. The woman who processed our order and helped us select a grout color was a major disappointment and she made the experience uncomfortable and awkward. My wife and I definitely didn't have the same warm fuzzy feeling we did when Alesia help us. We decided to go back to see Alesia and she was able to make everything better!! I don't usually write reviews but I HAVE to give a big shout out to Alecia! She has an eye for design. She makes shopping for tile fun and stress free. She takes my ideas and makes then even better, showing me different tiles that would work with each other that I would never have put together. She is the sweetest and she will go above and beyond to make sure you love your project, suggesting paint colors, etc! She first helped me with our bathroom Reno and now we're working together for our kitchen. I won't go anywhere else. If I did not love the tile I picked out from this place I would have canceled my order!! I ordered tile from the West Babylon Cancos on July 30, and was promised a Wednesday, August 3 deliver date. At 4:30pm on August 3. I called to see where my tile was. The lady Alesia, that I dealt with was off, so the boy had to call me back. Even thought she told me that she would personally call me 1/2 hour before they were going to deliver the tile. I was informed my tile was delivered to their showroom and I had to either pick it up myself (then why would I have asked for delivery in the first place?) or they would deliver it to me (the person who sells the tile would put it in her car and drive it to my house). So I made another deliver date for Friday, but it had to be before 11. Alicia called my home phone later on Wednesday, and left a message, knowing I was not home- because I gave her two cell phone number that she wrote down to call when I ordered. I was informed in the message that she could not deliver it because no one was would be in showroom for her to leave Friday morning!! I did not call back and for two day no one called me either. I guess Cancos just likes to take people's money and not care. I have never dealt with such bad customer service. Thank god I did not order tile for my kitchen from them! I will def be taking my business elsewhere for now on!! And to top it off I had to pick up the tile myself by borrowing a friends truck!! Then while picking up the tile over heard that this happens all the time to customers!! Terrible!! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful comments about the salespeople at Cancos in West Babylon. I recently renovated my kitchen and I had the good fortune of meeting with Alesia and her manager Paul. I had a specific idea in mind and Alesia spent so much time with me in matching what would work best with my cabinets and countertop. I also have a disabled daughter and Alesia knew exactly which tiles would work best with her sensory issues and risk of slipping. The have a huge selection and Alesia was constantly keeping me updated when my tile would be in. In fact during renovation, we ended up needing to replace a foyer and hallway floor and Alesia knew exactly which would work with the new kitchen floor. Both she and Paul truly know their inventory and how to suit every client's taste and design. I was so delighted with the tile quality and service I received, I ended up switching fabricators and buying my granite countertop from Alesia and Paul. Soon I will be putting in a handcapped bathroom for my daughter, and I can't wait to hang out with my girl Alesia to plan it.
