When we worked with them we needed traditional tile - not sure if they have a similar selection of large format which is now trending. Nice displays shown in the showroom with tile style and color combinations. If you bring measurements they will help choose the tile design and amount needed. Excellent product and sales people ! My wife and I decided to renovate an ugly second bathroom that we have. We were installing solaris granite floor tile, and a matching countertop, but was not sure what kind of walls would coordinate with it. Ernie, the owner, has done work with us in the past to great satisfaction, so we asked his opinion. He asked us to bring in a piece of the floor tile, and took us to one of the many tiled display " kiosks " that he has set up, and found the one in particular that worked best- a 6 x 6 noce travertivetile floor to mid wall, 2 x 4 subway tiles above a chair rail, and interspersed with amber glass tiles. Planning to go to this place? READ THIS!! We went into the store with the intension of buying tiles for two bathrooms. The sales person Ronnie was very helpful and extremely friendly. While helping us another sales person named Nancy asked if we needed a contractor, we told her that we already had one but did not like him that much. She quickly wrote a name on a piece of paper said that he was very good she guaranteed that we would love him that we would not be disappointed and excitedly encouraged us to call him so we did. Met him in person and she was right he was very nice and could do all we wanted. We asked for his license and info so that we could check him out with Consumer Affairs. He took a while to give us the info but finally did. When we called Consumers Affair the name M. Piero and license did not match it was someone else's license. after an explanation from him we gave him the job. He took us to a job that he was currently doing but the lady would not let him in. M.Piero boast about having four crew of men when in fact it was just him and his son Dominic .He did not finish the job but kept asking for more money, turns out that Nancy the woman at Roma is his wife but neither one said anything. She made it look like she was being helpful by giving us a contractor when she was actually finding jobs for her husband. He not only packed up his tools at the end of the day but also packed up our tools as well, he helped himself to our thing in our basement, while working he broke our toilet glued it up and did not say anything. He installed a whirlpool tub which required electric work but did not put a GFCI eventhough it was discussed he reassured me that he did. Turns out that he did not and someone could have been electrocuted. Mike did electric and plumbing in my home with NO LISCENCE. In fact this is why I am posting this review, this is very dangerous. Hope to help someone .Since his wife works at Roma, they told us that we did not have to return to purchase the material, that we could just call the store and give our credit card#. Big mistake, he made purchases on the card without our permission. We found out and asked them to reverse it. He damaged our car in our driveway and pretended that he knew nothing about it however, there was paint transfer on both vehicles. read more

Ran out of a bullnose I had bought for .77c at home depot, tried 4 home depots and online but no stock, my tiler said go to Roma tile so I did and they charged me $4.95 per tile. As I couldn't find it anywhere else, I had to buy it as my tiler was really booked up,$189.71 for what should have been $29.17. I know home depot has buying power, but that is a rip off. My tiler called up to complain and the owner said, well she didn't get all her tile from us and we know home depot is out of it. Nice. Way to go Roma, rip folks off. It's not like there isn't a building boom going on on Long Island right now so your not exactly struggling for business!! Don't get ripped off folks!! read more

I found Roma Tile by driving by every on my way to work. When I went in I was very surprised by the size of the showroom and the selection. I really didnt know what I wanted so I just kind of walked around and checked it all out. It was bit overwhelming. I left and did some research. When I went back the woman upfront remembered me. I selected some glass tile for a border and wood tile for the floor. I did haggle the price a bit and they were very reasonable. Overall I was happy with my tile and the price. read more
