This Review is long overdue, I apologize. Roma Marble & Granite and the staff there, especially Lisa G. are all truly amazing. From start to finish, they literally were the best experience out of all the contractors I used during my kitchen renovation project. I stopped into Roma just because I was in the area. ( I live out east on L.I. And my son lives in Bohemia). I did a google search because I figured there had to be a granite store somewhere close. ( I was doing renovation using Lowe's which I had no complaints, you just can't pick out the actual stone to be used) The reason I was looking was to see what other options I had in tends of counter tops and because I really wanted to choose and pick the exact stone that would be used and how it will be cut. With Lowe's, you only see the sample in the store and hope for the best. I walked into Roma and that's when I met Lisa. She was so welcoming and helpful with my questions. I felt really comfortable with them. We walked the lot looking at remnants and then the full slabs, and I found exactly what I wanted. From measuring to install, everything was extremely smooth and stress free. And the pricing I felt was great as well! I was even able to go into the shop, look at my 2 slabs and then with Lisa, we taped out exactly where I wanted the stone to be cut and used for each section. This was very exciting!! Installation day was awesome as the crew came, they needed 4 guys to get my beautiful 60x108" island top into the house, lifted and placed. They were amazing! Also, we had found this beautiful piece at another store (f & d) that we wanted to use behind the oven as an accent. She gave me an amazing price to pick up the stove, cut it and get it installed! Oh where do I begin..... the workers showed up and stated why is the counter still here I said I was told you remove it? So they took it out, then they removed the sink and installed a new sink I paid for. So now comes the facet installation... oh we don't do that. So I called the shop and she said very nasty and rude with a very high tone voice "WE BEEN HERE 15 YEARS AND WOULD HAVE NEVER SAID THAT WE ARE NOT A PLUMBING COMPANY". Then I tell her all the other issues here workers did such as scratching my walls that I just had painted, not pushing my stove back from the middle of the kitchen and best part when the workers removed the sink they put so much pressure on it they caused two leaks. I had to call a emergency plumber to come and fix it. So $1000 later.... Now the plumber whose very nice was looking around and goes why didn't they caulk the tiles? So I called the women and goes fine there coming back now. The workers come back and I quote " what is the point of caulking" WHAT IS THE POINT THEY SAID!!!! Then I noticed my dish washer was jiggling all over the place , so they fixed that for me after I ran after them and informed them of another issue THEY CAUSED. So now the worker looks at me and goes you should really hire a professional next time! Aren't you a professional company! I said to him I paid you for a job and there have been 3 issues that I have found that is costing me a $1000 plus dollars. So he turns around and slams my door and walks out of the house. So probably going to have to get a new front door now as well. People PLEASE do your research, they don't tell you what you need to do prior to installation or they additional fees. They said it was my fault that the water was never to turned off and the ok'd counters were never removed and I should have to pay them for that. Ya ok you're not getting another penny from me. You should pay for me all the repairs I have to do! Oh wait actually I forgot the other funny thing! The lady at the was screaming I mean SCREAMING at me that I forced her guys to remove the counter top, that's funny were you here when I said to them nobody told me that I had remove them so they took a picture and removed them. She said I caused them a huge liability, again they don't tell you these minor details they just expect you to do all the hard work for them.... $4000 I expect you to do all the hard work for me. I have 2 bulging discs in my back and I was forced to move my stove from the middle of the kitchen back to its normal spot. I think try again a liability moving a gas stove with herniated disc? This company is a crook and lies to you and said " WE TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS WHY DID YOH FORCE MY WORKERS TO DO THAT" nobody forced them I said nobody told me. Oh wait!!! When the workers left the first time the accused me of hot paying the company when I had already called that morning and paid in full with my debit card. Miscommunication and extremely unprofessional. Screaming at a customer as if I murder someone? Is that how you keep a company going for 15 years? Cannot be more thrilled with the results of my new countertops! The end result was more than I could have hoped for. Lisa was very professional through the whole process, extremely responsive and patient with all my inquiries and explained things to me clearly. Being a contractor myself and a handyman, I am very particular when it comes to contracting out work in my own home. I have heard horror stories from friends and family on their experiences with other fabricators, so needless to say I was paranoid come time for installation. Lisa and her team knocked it out of the park, I have not one complaint on the product she delivered. Her installers were top notch and very professional as well. Rude, pushy salespeople that made a large error on the edging of the kitchen marble. After charging my card for the first payment on the marble, a purchase of over $4,000, the salesperson informed me that payment was due on delivery or in advance if I was using a credit card. I was not going to be there to inspect the work so I wanted to pay after I had looked at it, one day later. Lisa charged my card for the balance AND sent me a very nasty email. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because Roma was unwilling to work with me. I have never been treated so poorly on such an expensive purchase. Excellent sales people and craftsmanship. My wife and I decided to renovate an ugly second bathroom that we have. We were installing noche travertine walls and had some extra solaris granite floor tile, and thought that matching the countertop to it would look great. After consulting with Lisa, our excellent salesperson, she assured us that it would come out fantastically, which it did. The edging and cuts were spot on, and the installation team was quick and professional. They also did our outdoor kitchen granite a few years back, and we were well satisfied with that job as well. We went to the show room looking for a new 30"quartz vanity top. We were taken out back into the storage yard where we selected a 1-1/8" thick piece of quartz which the sales lady broke a piece off of and gave to us to bring home to see how it looked in our bathroom. We liked it and ordered the top to be made based on the sample she gave us. When the top arrived it appeared to be the same color but was only 3/4" thick. We paid for 1-1/8" material but received 3/4". Not fair. read more

Purchased granite counter tops in May of 2012 which were beautiful, provided this compayt with a stainless steel sink which they mounted under the granite; Three months later the sink fell down. There were no clips or screws supporting the sink it was installed improperly with epoxy on the four corners. Roma Granite sent the same people that installed the sink to repair it, they arrived without tools or equipment to complete the installation. They still have not installed the undermount sink to the industry standards. My home sustained water damage and plumbing damage as a result of the sink falling. The owner of this company refused to provide his insurance information instead he remarked the ceiling beneath the sink sustaining water damage will dry out and offered to buy a can of paint. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the Suffolk County Consumer Affairs and The Better Business Bureau as this is not the appropriate response from a Licensed and Insured Business in Suffolk County read more
