We have an excessive amount of aphids on our tree so I decided to pick up some more lady bugs. There are around a dozen at the top and at least two inches thick at the bottom of DEAD, MOLDY LADY BUGS. I don't know if they're waiting for all of them to die before they toss them out or if they are hoping someone will buy them in that state but it is beyond disheartening that any live creature is kept in those conditions. And it is just generally unbelievable that there is so little care in quality that products can be left to rot and still be on display for sale. Disgusting!

But then there's places like Costello's and perhaps they don't have lumber (I could be wrong on this) or a huge selection of power tools (they have a decent selection, don't get me wrong) but they have heart and soul and really great staff! And hot tubs! We recently popped in here for a Father's Day gift after the sticker shock on those good flashlights that require a battery that costs more than the flashlight itself (because you use this battery on other power tools, but my father would only need it for the battery). There was someone to help us and also let us know that we had just missed a good sale but that they do rotating sales regularly etc, so check back. We ended up with a Leatherman instead but these apparently go on sale, too. The point is that they have good sales and I'd come back here any day before I stepped foot into a Home Depot. Also because I like admiring hot tubs and thinking back to when I had a hot tub and real winters.

Unfortunately i was stuck at work when they came and installed and to my dismay i came home to my island top installed incorrectly (overhang wrong) and this repaired granite that was definitely not the slab i picked in the yard. The owner thought i was exaggerating so he cAme to my house himself, looked at one small L shaped section and sAid "i don't even know why they cut and installed this". I showed him all of the other bad spots and he said "well theres no way i'm replacing all of this" and that was the end of it. 67 sq ft of granite came in at $5000 that i worked really hard for and i'm left with a lackluster result that stares at me every time i'm in my kitchen. They had my money because i know an ex-employee of theirs and he recommended them. No pride in their work

Then when the product was installed it had dark spots all around the cut areas. We where told they would fade after time but in fact they got worse. Ray came to my house, coming during an…read moreextremely cold night, to take measurements and provided us a quote the following day which was extremely reasonable. He continually stayed in touch and made sure that everything was correct during the entire process. Mary was extremely helpful and communicated with us about when the installation would be and what to expect. The crew came to our house and installed the fence (combination of vinyl and chain link) and it came out great. They did a great job at a great time frame. All in all, the entire process probably took about 2 weeks from measurement to finish and that was only due to the holiday season. I have no doubt it would have been much faster if it weren't for Christmas and New Years. I would highly recommend Good Day Fence to my friends and family.
