Wanted to use an outdated measurement from someone else instead of measuring the kitchen himself,…read moreeven though the design, including the sink, had changed. Please read on, it gets worse. Was too careless to cut the backsplash to the windowsill . The cutouts for the outlets were gouged and jagged, not finished. And the worst part: Even though he and I had agreed he would tell me when to visit his store to decide which parts of the slab should go where, he went ahead without notifying me and cut it. He then had his men surprise deliver it to me ( he said they were going to do something different, not delivering). When I wanted to send it back, so that we can look at the entire slab, to see whether I like how he cut it, he became extremely vindictive and told me he would tell his men to " leave the stone on my front step" and " not return." This meant he would keep my money and the other half of the slab. And quit and leave me stuck. He also never comes to your house to supervise or contribute to the work, he leaves everything to the workmen. He also doesn't communicate, not when the slab arrives at his store, so you are deprived from your preferences on which parts you like best. He also fails to tell you when there are long travel delays. There is no way around this incompetence and callous disrespect..

For a small operation, we were thrilled with their service and the quality of their work on our countertop, doorway saddle, shower curb and shelf was excellent. We would recommend them in a heartbeat. Unlike another reviewer's suspiciously negative comments (why is someone in San Francisco bashing a Long Island business?) we were not asked to pay in cash, and there were no problems or issues of any kind. The installers were careful, responsible and professional.

I know there is a cost to fabrication but I was able to get the pieces I wanter fabricated from a remnant at another stone place (Meta stone - amazing!!) for ONE THIRD the price that this place wanted to charge me for using remnants from the stone I already paid for!! Insane. Oh and good luck getting them to email or call you back. They won't.

We ended up speaking with Vito, he was awesome. Not only did he calculate exactly what we needed, but gave us a couple of ideas on different materials. I've ordered several…read moresupplies; pavers, bricks, sand, top soil, rca, poly sand, etc. My only complaint is the return policy, I wish they would mention there's no return on even the retail purchases. Ex: G2 poly sand bags I understand no returns on pavers, bricks, dirt, things like that. But for things that still have an actual price tag, that's a bit much! Never the less, if I was aware of this with an obvious sign or a comment from the cashier before purchasing, then I wouldn't of purchased extra material. The sad part is when I asked if they take returns, they said "no, its on the receipt." BUT this is literally after making the purchase Im aware of this. It would be smarter to mention this before purchasing, not after the facts! I thought that bit was a little distasteful from a business point of view. I still recommend this place. But be sure to only order what you need. Don't order the "extras" for the just incase event in your projects. (That is only for whatever they sell inside the store.) Bottom line: Project is done! Was left with 3 extra bags of poly sand (no return/my complaint) and a few pavers and bricks (also no return, but this part was expected).
