I originally contacted Anchored Fence via Facebook messenger. Eli responded quickly and we set up a time for him to measure the area I wanted fenced. Prices were better than other companies. My wife and I settled on getting the back part of the house fenced/gated. Eli's crew came and took care of business. The guys were clean and polite. I was in no rush in getting the gates installed as I wanted the cement to dry before installing the heavy gates. They came back, installed the gates and the necessary hardware. Ok truth be told I was gonna have a friend put my fence up. Then I priced the materials & YouTubed the process & said naaah. Too many steps & he's not that patient. So I Yelped Vinyl Fence & several came up in my area. But I was drawn to Anchored Fence's reviews on their customer service. It was Wednesday March 20th when we first spoke. My plan was to call a few people & get estimates but Eli was so on point with getting back to me. Giving me an estimate quickly with my permission to go in my yard while I was at work. He called & let me know he was there & clarified exactly what I wanted. Said he'd call back with the price. He called back with the prices and what that entailed. I said thank you & said I'd get back to him. But of course I was working crazy hours & couldn't get back to him until Sunday with questions. I texted Eli & I didn't expect him to reply but he did. He answered my questions & texted me links to answer all my questions. He was great! That's when I knew I didn't need to call anyone else for an estimate. Eli said he was booked 2 weeks out. I had more questions & he said he could come after that. He was a man of his word & the fence installer Albee was amazing. He & his helper had my fence taken down, holes dug & fence put up within 1.5 hrs! Do you HEAR ME?! 1.5 hrs!!!! The yard was like they were never there. Terrible..and Judging from other reviews, Eli's playbook is pretty simple...he's pleasant and accessible right up until the point that either something goes wrong with the job or he's paid in full at which point he will ghost you. I hired Anchored Fence to replace my wood outside shower enclosure with vinyl. The team that he sent seemed inexperienced and proved to be less than competent. The shower was left without post caps, unfinished edges, a door hung improperly and the panels hung incorrectly. When I contacted Eli, he said he'd come take a look. (He was Paid in Full) He never showed and has not answered calls and texts for over a month. I went so far as to video my concerns and send it to him but to no avail. Do not be deceived by his friendly demeanor. He does not stand behind his work. His business address is nothing more than a mailbox at the UPS store. If you're looking for a reputable company, I do NOT recommend this company and strongly advise you to look elsewhere. read more

Dan at Anchored Fence was the fifth and final person to give me a quote on having a PVC fence installed. He took the time to show me samples of his company's product and ran a few different ideas by me that he was thinking would be best for my property. Before he even handed me the written estimate and not knowing what the cost would actually be, I already knew this was the company I was going with due to the representative's knowledge, professionalism, and diligence. Compared to the four other companies that gave me estimates, Anchored Fence was the only one to actually show me a physical sample of their products. Also, out of the four other quotes I received, Anchored was the lowest (not by much though since all quotes were competivley priced, but it made my decision that much easier). By the time install day came around, the crew arrived 10 minutes early and were professional from the start. The head worker (forget his name, but he was awesome) had me look at the staked placement of posts and fence-line before any major work began and took the time to explain my property lines according to my survey. He also grabbed me a few other times to make sure the swinging direction of my gate was how I wanted among a few other things I cannot remember. The crew was very through with keeping my yard clean. It's been a few weeks since the install took place and everything seems to still be in great condition. read more

My parents needed some fence work and got in touch with Eli at Anchored Fence in June 2022. He came to their house in Huntington and gave them an estimate of $600 for the whole job. He also took a $200 deposit saying he would be in touch to set up the details for when the work would start. It is now February 2023 and still to this day after many calls/inquiries with the company no one has gotten back to them. So, I decided to call him and left him a message saying I had some questions about fence work. He called me back the next day thinking I was a new client that he could rip off as well. After asking him why nothing has been done to this point all he could say was he needed to look into it and get back to me. I haven't heard back from him since after repeated calls and doubt I ever will. Everyone please be careful with this company and especially with this individual, Eli. On April 27 and 28 Anchored Fence Co. installed white PVC fence in my back yard. Initially the owner Eli was very nice and helpful with any issues I had, and would have got an A+ review. But... on the last day the 2 gates were installed, one regular size and the other was much larger for my landscapers tractor to go through. That gate was measured wrong. It is too short. The worker informed me that he called Eli, and was instructed to install the gate and a new one will be ordered. I called Eli when the crew left to discuss the date for the new gate but had to leave a message. To this day I have never received a gate or even a call back. I sent a text on June 21st hoping I would get a response. I tried going to the address listed on Angie's List, his paperwork and business card, but it is a UPS store. This company is MIA. Forget about labor guaranteed for 5 years and material for 5 years. The warranty states an Anchored Fence tag will be placed on the new fence to ensure the warranty on materials, and removal of the tag may void it. The tag was never placed on my fence. I noticed 2 other reviews about gates not fitting properly. My small gate is not perfect but I was willing to let that one go. I do not recommend this company. read more

Update: I'm not one who likes to leaves negative reviews, but I have to say that I'm surprised this place is still in business. The one star is for Toni, who is lovely, fields all of the phone calls and is the liaison between customer and owner. Crew came back to address gate being too short, and tried to tell me that it needed "clearance" over the driveway when opening. As I opened the gate for them, one could quickly see that you don't 4" of clearance. I told them the gate was too short, and that another, longer one needed to be installed. They removed the gate, and I thought all would be well. They returned the next day (when I wasn't home) and installed the "new" gate: The SAME gate with a piece of PVC attached to the bottom!!! (SERIOUSLY???). Final update: A different crew showed up yesterday and properly installed the correct sized gate. (FWIW - the owner had asked me to remove my negative Yelp review; I wonder how many people have.) read more

Can't say enough about this fence company! My husband got 3 estimates and said he just clicked with the owner. They came within 2 weeks - a day earlier and ontime. THe installer went over everything with us and explained how the fence would be installed and made sure we were happy with every step.
