They were very helpful & reasonable for the repair to our fence. The fence was about 10 years old and we needed to repair one of the post. They charged us only for the part & told us how to fix it. It was a pleasure to deal with them. read more

Recently had backyard fence installed after receiving quotes from Lowe's and Homedepot. a relative then recommended I contact Amendola's Fence Company and so pleased I did. Not only were the better priced but the quality and price was far more superior. I highly recommend them. John Loizos Bayside. NY read more

We have called Amendola's multiple times and are always told that someone will call us back. Radio silence and needless to say Our fence is still not fixed. I've read some of the other negative reviews and it all makes sense. We're not going away we paid a lot of money for this fence and that gate still does not shut. Do not fall for the immediate installation on in stock items; I ordered in stock four feet aluminum sailgate fence over 2 weeks ago! Its just to get you to sign the contract read more

My family bought a fence from Amendola's 20 years ago and again this year. Although problems with the supply chain due to COVID slowed things down considerably, the outcome was worth the wait!! The installation team was great! read more

Amendola's Fence - New waterfront fence - Fences & Gates Near Me - North Baldwin, New York

Great experience. Rebuilt walkway after installing fence and gate. Handled my request for changes very professionally.

We needed to replace a portion of our broken fence and gates. We called Amendolas Fence and their salesman Michael came over the next day. He assessed the damage and went over the product with us. He made a recommendation as to what was needed and sold us on the product. He was very thorough, professional and knowledgeable in the product. The installation was done with polite and professional workers. Sergio and Juan installed the fence and gates in no time at all. We were extremely please with the entire experience. We highly recommend Amendolas Fence to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and knowledgeable fence company. read more

Update::: Gates have been installed ! same crew came to install. Everything looks and works fabulously! I have had several people asking about the fence, and have sent them down to the showroom. Everyone remarks that they cannot believe this fence is not real cedar! AMENDOLA'S FENCE CO. TOTALLY ROCKS! Thank you! read more

Jane, thank you so much for the great service you provided. Also, thanks for staying on top of getting my fence done when you had to deal so hard with getting materials. I am thrilled how the fence came out. read more

We used Amendola when we first installed a vinyl fence around our backyard nearly 20 years ago. We had them come back recently to make some changes after a landscaping job. Although there were many delays due to supply chain, the team they sent over to do the work was great.... and the outcome spectacular. read more

I really want to give it 3.5 stars but there is no such rating. We used Amendolas after a fallout with another company. They were also slightly cheaper. The fence came in about 1week late and I think it could have been more if my husband didn't make a fuss for getting the run around after a few calls. We had landscapers and sprinklers scheduled around the fence so it was tough having to reschedule everyone else. But when my husband complained he got an installation scheduled very fast and job was done in one day. The fence looks great and people comment on it all the time and I catch some drive by to see it. I do wish they follow up with the customer better and try to keep schedules, ot at the least keep the customer informed of delays. Other than that experience I am happy with the fence. read more

Amendola's Fence - Had to comment out the munchkin. - Fences & Gates Near Me - North Baldwin, New York

We were very pleased with Amendola's Fence. From the 1st day of the estimate to the end of installation- we were happy with the knowledge and experience of the estimate associate and the expertise of the installation crew. Fair pricing and good communication during weather delays. read more

Hurricane Ida reeked havoc with one of my driveway gates (splitting the seams causing it to barely close and operate) and turning 3 of my fence sections into sails. Called Amendola's up to come take a look as they did the original job. Supervisor came out in a timely manner, assessed the damages, took measurements and told me what needed to be done to fix it. Got a call from Josh telling me what it would cost to make up a new gate and fix the fence sections. I told him go ahead and lets do it. There was a slight delay due to supply chain issues, but less than a week. Guys came out and installed the gate in one day and came back and fixed the fence another. Installers were knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and installation was great! I would definitely recommend Amendola's. Although the repairs were not covered under warranty they were fast to respond, come to my house and get the job done! read more

My husband had fallen twice on our front steps which didn't have a railing. I wanted to get railings put up on both sides of the steps so that he or anybody else coming or going wouldn't fall and break a leg or a hip or worse! I asked friends for a recommendation for a fence company and Amendola's Fence Company was the most recommended one. I called them, their salesperson came a couple of days later, he gave us an estimate, and the next week we had a beautiful railing on each side of our front steps! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The installers were on time, worked very neatly, were very polite and cleaned up the area where they worked before they left. We are very pleased and have already recommended Amendola's Fence Company to two of our neighbors. This is a local company and has been in business for 58 years! Doesn't get better than that! Had fence installed 15 years ago. Overall satisfied. Recently asked them to remove a section so contractor could do work. Then put back after. Job was too small and would not do work. Just assumed they would service their customers. read more

Outstanding fence company. Had my fence installed and they really paid attention to details. The crew chief pointed out issues with my current fence (that they added to), and were able to fix them. They were polite and courtious and came right on time. I will use them again with furture projects. read more

Installed my fence, after the gate broke in just over a year, they charged me `$100 to send someone to look at it, and they blamed my mason for the damage and refused to fix it, even at a charge. read more

I contacted the company for an estimate. A sales person came to my property and took my survey. He told me he would give me my survey back within a few days. I called numerous times and kept getting a run-around. I was never told that he was fired - just that he was unavailable. I finally, after 3 weeks of calling, spoke to a Manager. He admitted the sales person had been fired 3 weeks prior. He made no attempt to find my survey. They obviously do not care about customer service. They made no attempt to find my survey. I would not use this company or recommend them to anyone. I agree with the person who says this company has arrogance issues. read more

Great experience! Signed our contract on a Thursday - everything was installed the following Tuesday! Great prices too - best quote after checking with 4 similar companies. Easy to work with. read more

This company has some arrogance issues. I had a lot of PVC fencing to install and contacted them for an estimate (btw the job was worth more than $7,000). Anyway I got a sales person on the phone (I forgot his name - thankfully) and you could tell from talking to him he didn't give a sh@t about customers. As a matter of fact he told me he won't come out to do estimates which is unheard of in this industry especially considering the fact everybody has different land issues to deal with etc....They might have nice looking materials but their attitude sucks - how can I hire a company that's too lazy to even see the work their quoting! read more

Amendola fence company cannot give me an estimate after 8 days don't know whats taking them so long. I order my gate from these guys 2011 and my neighbor broke the one of the gate and I have not heard from them since I have to keep calling them for a follow up. I think I am wiser now and would not want to deal with them in the future. read more

I had a vinyl fence installed 2 years ago, it supposedly came with a lifetime warranty. However the fence material quality apparently isnt something that is covered. I got a 1-2 inch hole on one side of a panel. I have no idea what caused it, but it seems something as simple as a pebble kicked up from a lawn mower is enough to punch a hole in the fence according to them. I was told, the warranty doesn't cover it. If you get a fence from them don't have any expectations that they will honor the 'lifetime' warranty read more

I ordered parts for my chain link fence gate on 6/4/2014 which was suppose to arrive on 6/9/2014. I called the sales rep on 6/10/2014 who said he would call me back. It didn't happen. I called again on 6/11/2014 and am still waiting for a call. read more

I installed a fence around my yard and there were two crews.one crew did one side and the other crew did the other side.About 3 years later I noticed one side the post were all uneven and the other side were perfect .The next year that same side got so bad I called amendolas and I told them one side was still perfect and the other side is falling down .they wanted to charge me I told them forget it just in principle .they dont stand by there product. So I would not get a fence from them read more

Hired them to install wood-look PVC fence and paid extra for that wood look. We told them in person and had it in writing that the gate had to open out (into driveway) in accordance with Town code. We pointed out that the driveway was higher than the ground and were told no problem. When they installed the fence, they installed it too low so it was lower than the driveway, which means the gate couldn't open out. They were supposed to come back "the next day" to install the gate, so when we saw the problem, we called and told them the fence is too low. No one even called back! Then they didn't come back until 5 days later and then said they couldn't install the gate opening out because the fence was lower than the driveway! We told them this! Town code says it had to open out, so they took the gate back for another few days and cut it so it's now MUCH shorter than the 6-foot fence and looks ridiculous from the inside and out. The gate is so short that the gap under the gate is too large to keep a small dog or small animal inside (or out of) the yard! Kind of defeats the purpose of having a fence! Completely dissatisfied with this company. The only reason it got TWO stars is because I like the fence itself; the wood look is very nice and we couldn't find it anywhere else. read more
