Grilled turkey gouda sandwich

We all ordered sandwiches and wings. The wings were tasty. The sandwiches were yummy with the homemade chips. Our waiter was very attentive and provided great service!

Dog friendly patio

Ok, I'm going out on a limb and giving 4 stars here, mostly because so many of the other revies were bad. We came for a late lunch on a Friday, and it was unseasonably warm for November so we were able to enjoy the beautiful patio. It's not the best view because it looks out over 522, but it's pretty high up so much nicer than that other road side restaurants. Their patio is very dog friendly and our waitress even brought water for our pup. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. When my husband commented that he didn't like his blond ale she offered to exchange it. My Antitum red ale was much better so he swapped to that one. My brother in law got a local IPA which he really enjoyed. The men got burgers which were quite large. I don't think it was a gourmet burger but perfectly decent and there weren't any crumbs left. I got the fish sandwich which was a very generous portion and fried perfectly and quite reasonable for $14. The house made potato chips were nice. Food came out reasonably quickly so a good experience all around!

Food is great every time we come here. Love the ambience inside and the deck seating with such a nice view! Had the pasta Alfredo today and it was magnificent! My wife had the peach frisée salad and it was superb!

Special buffalo wrap with tater tots and crab cake with sweet potato fries

Amazing find in Berkeley Springs!! The hostess and waitress were both so sweet and quick to seat and serve us. So many options on the menu looked incredible it was hard to choose. The food came out quickly and it was delicious! One of the specials for the day was a buffalo wrap and we also got a crab cake. The menu is well marked for gluten free items! The restaurant itself was so clean and roomy. If it wasn't for the rainy weather we would have taken advantage of their beautiful balcony. Would absolutely come back!

Crab cakes broccoli and baked potato...the crab cakes were lousy

Dirty windows..slow service...lousy food .....we visited back in April 2023 Arrived around eight pm...very few people...took a while to seat us...don't understand why... Girlfriend ordered Stella..,wanted it in a small glass...waitress said they didn't have Stella glasses.,wtf...that's not what she asked ... Girlfriend ordered crab cakes. ..I,had ribeye ...ribeye was very fatty...crab cakes were unedible.. Got waitress to get manager who agreed to take half off the crab cakes...all in all..will never go back no matter how nice the view Also need to wash the windows..Got a look at the kitchen and wasn't happy on what I saw with the door open Health department needs to come and make an inspection... Will never go back...head to the Berkeley spa in town and eat at the hotel there. ..great breakfast lunch and dinner

The "brisket" on the sandwich was basically jerky.

Have stopped here many times and it's always been really good. Today though (I hope it's an anomaly) I opted for the brisket sandwich which was disappointing. The meat was sliced super thin and was dry. It had the texture and chew of jerky. The sweet potato fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Again I'm hoping this was just a bad day for the beef.

1/2 Spinach Salad

This is a two night review. The food and ambiance were so incredible I made a return trip after last nights dinner. First night I shared the fried green tomatoes, crab dip and pork BBQ nachos. All of which were well prepared and arrived in good order. The fried green tomatoes were hot, delicious and well presented, the Crab Dip was more than enough for the party of 8 and the nachos blew me away with its towering deliciousness. BBQ pork, pico de gallo, cheese, and jalapeños with sour cream all piled up and melted into one of the best nachos presentations I've seen in quite a awhile. Everything blended together to create a wonderful appetizer dining experience. The icing on the cake was the BBQ Brisket platter served up with with a vinaigrette Jalapeño cole slaw and a nicely prepared sweet potato. . The brisket was plentiful and near equal to that which I tried at Franklin BBQ in Austin Texas, Tonight we had the Pork BBQ nachos which was just as awesome as the previous night, followed by a 1/2 spinach salad and 1/2 BBQ chicken salad, both of which were delicious and incredibly big for just 1/2 salads. The musician tonight added to the nice ambiance and excellent food rounding out two really nice dining experiences. This is certainly a must stop for lunch or dinner on future trips and I'll make sure I call ahead for a reservation as this place is hopping. To top it off we picked up at To Go order which was a bowl of the cream of crab soup, which my daughter absolutely loved and said that it was loaded with crab but a good many shells. I remarked that it was a good sign showing real crab was used! In addition she ordered up a cheese burger that was cooked perfectly! The only disappointment was having the extra charge added to our bill by using a debit card, not a credit card but a debit card. Please don't ruin a great experience by being penny wise and pound stupid. Trying to make up the difference is why food cost is in place along with rolling fees into a menu. I suggest they post a sign outside saying you will be charged for using credit and debit cards and not hide it on the bill in small print. Don't hide these fees, instead be a little more transparent, or absorb them in day to day costs, which is much better customer service.

Brisket Sandwich, with French fries

We drove by this place on the way to the nearby park, and knew we would stop here for lunch. It has a stellar view. The food was mediocre, though the service was good. We ordered a cheese platter appetizer, which advertised local cheese. I had high hopes. Instead, grocery store orange cheddar, a very mild white cheese, and this liquidy, shredded cheese that just presented terribly and lacks any taste. It came with a large dab of mustard and apple butter, neither one of which complimented any cheese, and a pile of Carr's water crackers. It did also have a half dozen sliced pickles, which were good. Lunch itself consisted of a pair of sandwiches, one "Carolina" BBQ pulled pork, and one brisket. The pulled pork sandwich came out covered in a very sweet, red BBQ sauce. It might have been a little overly sweet, but it actually complimented the pulled pork well. But. That's not a Carolina style pulled pork sandwich -- Carolina style is with the spiced vinegar sauce. I have seen places that combine the two styles, meat cooked in the vinegar based sauce and slathered with the tomato, but this pulled pork lacked any hint of vinegar to it. Not bad, but not what I expected, not what I wanted, not what I ordered. It had, however, completely soaked through the bun, to the point where the bun was starting to break down -- makes me wonder if this was pre-made. The brisket sandwich was fairly good. The brisket itself had great taste, and the jalapeno sauce, which wasn't overly spicy, nicely complimented it. Finally, I will say that while the view of the hills is nice, it does overlook a busy road. It does make getting out tricky (especially if you're turning left). Location is nice, service was good, food was mediocre.

Located right along the river, it's a scenic place. The inside is equally as relaxing. We visited on a chilly day so my kids wanted to sit inside. We ended up getting a table, where they enjoyed drawing and using all the art supplies from the station inside the room. This unique business is a little grocery store with unique wines, gifts, snacks and other items you'd never imagine you could use, but suddenly seems like you need them! My kids were hungry, so I ordered them 2 personal pizzas. These were incredible. While they were frozen pizzas, the pizza was some of the best I've had. It was classic Neapolitan style with a delicious crust, cheese, topped with mico greens. My kids had a few bites but I feel like I ate more of their pizzas than they did! Inside the main dining room, they have a comfy couch, plenty of art supplies and other great toys to distract the kids. I'd highly recommend this spot. It will definitely be on our list of places to revisit when we come back to Berkeley Springs.

I'd happily take anything in the home goods/food/art section as a gift for myself (HINT HINT to anyone in my family!). In addition, they have coffee, tea, smoothies, a fridge full of matcha and kombucha beverages, and a lunch menu with delicious salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. Plus, you'll always find treats and baked goods from local bakers. Bread, millionaire bars, those little shape cookies filled with jam. Their wine/beer section has grown and they sometimes host tastings. The side room is a little art gallery. Outside you'll find, creekside, of course, seating and Martha Washington's bathtub. In sum: For lovers of food, design, home, and community cheer. So happy that Creekside is in downtown Berkeley Springs!

Once you have eaten Bricello's Grilled Formaggio you too will realize this is what a grilled cheese is supposed to be. My Wife and I happened upon this wonderful gem when we were headed to Berkeley Springs State Park for a Roman Bath Soak. We ordered the Italian Grilled Formaggio and the Caprese. Both were beyond amazing. The wonderful couple that were running the food truck were also extremely friendly and delightful. They described the sandwiches, the bread, everything. You knew this food was about to be prepared with love. They told us we were going to love the soak and they literally moved to Berkeley Springs from MD because of it. We ordered the two sandwiches and they aid it would be about 10 minutes. I knew right then and there these were going to be the best damn grilled cheese ever. Now the sandwiches we ordered: The Italian Grilled Formaggio had Mozzarella, Provolone, Fontina, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Pesto, and Country White Bread. The Caprese had Sliced tomatoes, Mozzarella, Pesto, Organic Arugula, Balsamic Vinegar Reduction, and, Sourdough Bread. Both sandwiches were off the chain. The Italian blend of cheeses paired with the Sun-dried Tomatoes and Pesto was such an amazing combination. The bread is from Bakery de France and it is not like regular bread at all. Very hearty flavorful and perfect for a grilled cheese sandwich. The Caprese was also bursting with flavor from the marinated Tomatoes and and Arugula with the Pesto. The Sourdough Bread was a perfect pairing with this sandwich. It was an amazing grilled cheese but it was also refreshing. It was like I just ate a grilled cheese salad. Which doesn't make sense but the flavors in my mouth tell me it does. I would happily eat at this wonderful food truck again. The restaurant is cozy and only has a few seating options in the main bar area. It's a nice atmosphere and we loved the booths. I ended up ordering exactly what I had when I visited a few years ago, which was the Chicken Christy. It's a delicious dish of chicken, topped with ham, cheese and heavy cream. The sauce is great, and the meal comes with multiple sides. I ended up getting sweet potato fries along witn a delicious salad and blue cheese dressing. My partner got the Philly Steak and Cheese. It wasn't quite as good as the real deal of a Philly cheesesteak, but he still enjoyed it. Our kids loved their meals, which was basically cheeseburgers. We were a little surprised they couldn't just do a basic pasta with sauce. But apparently, they don't have any tomato sauce at this place. Lastly, we enjoyed the great price on the wine. We ended up getting a bottle of red wine from Paso Robles, California. We love Paso. While we never heard of this particular wine from the region, it was really tasty and worth the price which was really reasonable. We would definitely come back. Just make sure you have a reservation in advance!
