    Grilled turkey gouda sandwich

We all ordered sandwiches and wings. The wings were tasty. The sandwiches were yummy with the homemade chips. Our waiter was very attentive and provided great service!

Ok, I'm going out on a limb and giving 4 stars here, mostly because so many of the other revies were bad. We came for a late lunch on a Friday, and it was unseasonably warm for November so we were able to enjoy the beautiful patio. It's not the best view because it looks out over 522, but it's pretty high up so much nicer than that other road side restaurants. Their patio is very dog friendly and our waitress even brought water for our pup. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. When my husband commented that he didn't like his blond ale she offered to exchange it. My Antitum red ale was much better so he swapped to that one. My brother in law got a local IPA which he really enjoyed. The men got burgers which were quite large. I don't think it was a gourmet burger but perfectly decent and there weren't any crumbs left. I got the fish sandwich which was a very generous portion and fried perfectly and quite reasonable for $14. The house made potato chips were nice. Food came out reasonably quickly so a good experience all around!

Food is great every time we come here. Love the ambience inside and the deck seating with such a nice view! Had the pasta Alfredo today and it was magnificent! My wife had the peach frisée salad and it was superb!

Special buffalo wrap with tater tots and crab cake with sweet potato fries

Amazing find in Berkeley Springs!! The hostess and waitress were both so sweet and quick to seat and serve us. So many options on the menu looked incredible it was hard to choose. The food came out quickly and it was delicious! One of the specials for the day was a buffalo wrap and we also got a crab cake. The menu is well marked for gluten free items! The restaurant itself was so clean and roomy. If it wasn't for the rainy weather we would have taken advantage of their beautiful balcony. Would absolutely come back!

The "brisket" on the sandwich was basically jerky.

Have stopped here many times and it's always been really good. Today though (I hope it's an anomaly) I opted for the brisket sandwich which was disappointing. The meat was sliced super thin and was dry. It had the texture and chew of jerky. The sweet potato fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Again I'm hoping this was just a bad day for the beef.

Dirty windows..slow service...lousy food .....we visited back in April 2023 Arrived around eight pm...very few people...took a while to seat us...don't understand why... Girlfriend ordered Stella..,wanted it in a small glass...waitress said they didn't have Stella glasses.,wtf...that's not what she asked ... Girlfriend ordered crab cakes. ..I,had ribeye ...ribeye was very fatty...crab cakes were unedible.. Got waitress to get manager who agreed to take half off the crab cakes...all in all..will never go back no matter how nice the view Also need to wash the windows..Got a look at the kitchen and wasn't happy on what I saw with the door open Health department needs to come and make an inspection... Will never go back...head to the Berkeley spa in town and eat at the hotel there. ..great breakfast lunch and dinner

We happened to park right across the street from this place. Looked at the menu and decided this was the place. We ordered the Imperial Crab Balls to start. They were perfectly cooked and loaded with real crab, sitting on top of toasted baguette rounds. Then we ordered the Shrimp Salad with Bacon sub. Roll nicely toasted, tons of shrimp, bacon with lettuce and tomato. It was almost like a po' boy, except the shrimp were sautéed not fried. And the garlic truffle potato chips! I would eat a whole bag of those gems. Our server was top notch and the ambience was perfectly funky. We will be back, next time with our whole crew!

The space has a cozy, slightly speakeasy feel, with plenty of seating at the bar and tables for dinner. The music area is separate from the bar and dining area where we sat, which makes the layout feel lively without having the music sit directly on top of your entrée. There is also a related shop next door, The Naked Olive, where you can buy olive oils, balsamics, tapenades, and other dangerous things you convince yourself are "for later." By the time we were leaving early Saturday evening, they were getting ready for live music, which added to the local, come-stay-awhile feel. We started with a classic martini, and it was excellent. Perfectly balanced, cold, briny, slightly sweet, and served with blue cheese olives. A proper martini is not just a drink, it is a small personality test. We also tried the monthly special, the Dirty Devil, which I believe had bourbon, Coke, and salted caramel. It was good, but the classic martini was the clear winner for me. Service was friendly and helpful. I believe our server was James, and he helped us work through the menu without making us feel like we were preparing for a graduate seminar in small plates. They also honored us with a military discount, which I sincerely appreciated. Food wise, we ordered the Truffled Mushroom Pizza, which was genuinely good, with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and mozzarella. My only note is that the truffle was very subtle, maybe attending more in spirit than in full costume, but the pizza itself worked and I enjoyed it. We also had the Chicken Chesapeake, a sous vide chicken breast topped with crab and Chesapeake sauce. It came with a house salad and house vinaigrette, which was standard but good. As chicken breast goes, the entrée was well cooked, tender, and nicely finished. The crab and seasoning gave it some personality, which chicken breast often desperately needs. The mashed potatoes were hearty and solid. The vegetable du jour was the one underwhelming part of the meal; I am still not entirely sure what it was, and I do not think it was sure either. Overall, I enjoyed The Naked Olive Lounge. It may not be in my top three Berkeley Springs restaurants thus far, but it is definitely a solid entry in the local rotation. The ambiance is warm, the layout is comfortable, the service is friendly, the martinis are legitimately excellent, and the food is good, even if a few details could be stronger. The price point was reasonable, and I would happily come back, especially for a classic martini and live music.

Our server was absolutely fantastic, she kept our waters filled and checked in just frequently enough without hovering or having us feel deserted. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were divine and the Brussels sprout app was perfectly crispy. I had the Liberty Lavender Lemonade as well - it was delightful. It was strong (which I prefer - kudos!) but well balanced and not overpowering. We're already looking forward to our next visit and I'm excited for our kids to come - it's rare to see a restaurant offer a kids menu with real food on it (not just frozen chicken tenders, Mac and cheese or pizza). Housed on the…read moreoriginal Lot #12 of the Town of Bath, the restaurant embraces its history without feeling like a museum where dinner happens to be served. It is warm, intimate, and genuinely connected to the town. Lot 12 offers a seasonal three-course prix fixe menu Friday through Sunday, and reservations are highly recommended. We were fortunate to be served by Betsy, Chef Damian Heath's wife. She was warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly invested in the experience. The service was excellent, with thoughtful pacing and the kind of attention to detail that feels effortless when done well. In a historic home, it would be easy for the setting to do most of the work. Here, the food and hospitality more than hold their own. The menu reflects a chef who is classically French-trained but not afraid to have some fun. We added an extra appetizer because choosing only one seemed unreasonable. The Southern Picnic included deviled eggs, pimento cheese bruschetta, candied bacon, and house pickles, essentially a Southern church picnic that went to culinary school. The fried green tomatoes were crisp and fresh, served with marinated mozzarella and basil aioli. The bread, baked on-site, came with olive oil infused with rosemary and herbs from the restaurant's garden. It was a small touch, but one that reflected the care behind the meal. The lobster bisque, one of the evening's specials, was exceptional: rich, silky, deeply flavorful, and unmistakably lobster, not merely lobster-adjacent. It may have been the best dish of the evening, although choosing a favorite felt unfair given how consistently good every course was. It was the kind of bisque that makes you consider ordering a second bowl, then resent the social conventions preventing you from doing so. Between the appetizers and entrées, we were served a bright, refreshing mango and ginger sorbet as a palate cleanser. For the entrées, we had the BBQ spice-rubbed duck breast and grilled cold-water lobster tail. The duck was beautifully cooked and paired with smoked confit duck hash, tart cherry demi-glace, and fresh fruit salsa. The lobster was sweet, tender, and finished with garlic herb beurre blanc. My only minor complaint is that I would have happily traded some of the mashed potatoes for more lobster. This is less a culinary critique than a personal philosophy. Dessert was equally strong. The upside-down pineapple cake with coconut sorbet was warm, nostalgic, and refined without becoming fussy. The individual Key lime pie leaned a little sweet, which worked for me, although those who prefer a sharper citrus profile may feel differently. The attention to detail was evident throughout the meal. The dining room is charming and thoughtfully decorated, the service polished without being stiff, and the food refined without becoming pretentious. There was no weak course, no service misstep, and nothing we would hesitate to order again. Lot 12 is not merely very good for Berkeley Springs; it would hold its own in a larger and more competitive dining market. We have been exploring the local restaurant scene, and so far, nothing else has come close. We will definitely be back. And if Chef Heath ever decides to sell that lobster bisque by the gallon, I already know where it is going in my refrigerator.

The restaurant is cozy and only has a few seating options in the main bar area. It's a nice atmosphere and we loved the booths. The sauce is great, and the meal comes with multiple sides. I ended up getting sweet potato fries along witn a delicious salad and blue cheese dressing. My partner got the Philly Steak and Cheese. It wasn't quite as good as the real deal of a Philly cheesesteak, but he still enjoyed it. Our kids loved their meals, which was basically cheeseburgers. We were a little surprised they couldn't just do a basic pasta with sauce. But apparently, they don't have any tomato sauce at this place. Lastly, we enjoyed the great price on the wine. While we never heard of this particular wine from the region, it was really tasty and worth the price which was really reasonable. We would definitely come back. NOTE: There is NO WiFi at the cabins, only at the main lodge(you have to be inside the main lodge-to access the wifi- which closes at 8pm). To get from the lodge to the cabin we stayed at, the road was not well paved--it was bumpy and mostly rocks and unpaved terrain. We stayed at one of the cabins that is a five-minute walk or two-minute drive from the main lodge. The resort is a short drive from the small town and state park with hiking and mountain biking which is amazing Our cabin had a fire pit area, picnic table, porch with chairs, two bedrooms (one with two beds), two full bathrooms, a kitchen table, microwave, coffee machine, heater and AC, and a TV area with couches and chairs. Sadly they only provided us with 3 paper plates and cups, and plastic silverware, there was no room service who came to replenish our eating materials(as we thought there would be) so after one night, we had nothing to eat out of or with. Additionally there is no way to cook/make food, only a microwave to reheat with. The satellite TV service is spotty, and you can't sign into subscriptions. The people working at the front desk of the lodge were always very resourceful and kind. Unfortunately, the main lodge's pool and fitness center are only open for limited hours from 10am to 6pm. That was very frustrating because those were the hours of the day I was out mountain biking and hiking. The pool is decently heated and was neither too cold nor too hot. The jacuzzi wasn't hot at all--it's actually colder than the pool. There is a sauna there, but it wasn't open when we went. Right next to the lodge, there are extremely nice pickleball and tennis courts with provided equipment. Sadly, swimming in the lake wasn't allowed during our stay. The lodge property is decently large with a lot of greenery and hiking trails. I bet it would be very beautiful during the fall with fall foliage.
