Derek and his crew make a great pizza, and their wings are also sneaky good. We usually interchange between cheese, pep, sausage, and then pepperoni/red pepper. It doesn't matter, it's good. The service has also always been top-notch. We were a little late with our order the other night, but they kept the place open and it was so, so good. We typically do takeout, but there is a decent-sized dining area. I love these guys and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Specifically, we were told to either get their turkey sub, made with fresh-roasted-in-house turkey and their delicious bread, OR the taco pizza. We couldn't decide so we got both, figuring we could always eat left overs. The time of our order was peak lunch time rush, and it took about 30 min to get our food. We saw them making the pizza and subs fresh, and we also observed a lot of other diners, some regulars, enjoying their food and the conversation with the staff. Everyone was friendly and happy. We took our order back to where we were staying and dug into the pizza. It was a little salty for my personal taste buds, but not my husband's - he really loved the flavors. I was impressed with the crust - which is always a mark of a good pizza in my book. I would get this again, but would ask for something like a side of ranch or blue cheese to help cut the saltiness. Later that same day we ate the subs. The turkey sub was easily - seriously - the BEST turkey sub I had had in a very long time. Maybe ever. The fresh-roasted turkey, the fresh fillings - lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and the Italian dressing - all were the perfect flavor profiles and amounts. The whole sammy was well balanced, so no one ingredient dominated. We had ordered a large, again, with left overs in mind, and cut it into pieces. I added mayo, and just thought it was moist, really tasty, and total comfort food. I would drive across the city to get that sub again. Pictured here is the pizza; by the time we at the subs I forgot to take more pics! Couple other notes: Pizza Chef is in a plaza where there is plenty of parking. They sell soda in a case as well as ice cream, and have quite a large menu that includes wraps, sandwiches and subs (hot and cold), lots of different signature pizzas plus a breakfast pizza and options to build-your-own, plus a variety of fried sides like fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, etc. They also have wings and salads. Definitely check them out if you haven't already. And get that turkey sub. You won't regret it!

I really love this place. I feel happy when I walk inside the store. It's yellow, bright, and if you look up in the air, you can see two awesome airplanes in the air (ok, I may be biased there because I am a pilot!). I am also always greeted by a cheerful, well-respected staff that seems genuinely interested in me a person and not as a customer. I was astonished to hear how selective they are about their ingredients. I spoke to the owner himself, and he said their cannoli shells are imported from a bakery in Sicily and they make the cream in-house. Now that's cool! Great place, great pizza, and great people, which is why I give this place a five out of five. read more

this place SUCKS! I ordered a pizza and cheese sticks which took over 2 hours to be delivered (the sticks were cold and the pizza was sub standard). I complained and was offered a credit (the value of my order). I tried them again and when I went to use the credit I was told it was much less then what I had been told. So I got poor service, a credit that wasn't honored and a whole lot of BS. Don't give these liars your business. read more
