So this place, Campus Point, is not a real business and they are not in the building that they say they're in. The phone number they have listed for all 3 cities (Seattle, Portland and Phoenix), all are rerouted to the Seattle 206 number and there's no human that answers it's just a loop voicemail asking you to enter in the person's name or extension number. But no matter what you press, you get nothing. They have sent me a weird message through Indeed asking me if it's ok to share my resume with the team to continue with the hiring process. That verbiage is strange, being they already have my resume and secondly I applied for a receptionist position.. there's nothing to "share with the team", unless they were about to ask me for a picture of my drivers license so they can do a background check. Which by the way is NOT how businesses get your background checks! Do not comply with their strange requests on Indeed. They have a website and address online to their "office", but even scams have a real-looking address (office buildings are popular)- Use suite numbers that don't belong to them-Or list a place where multiple businesses exist so it's harder to verify. Sometimes it's even sneakier: The address is a real building, but no such company is actually there (like in this case), Or it used to be there and they're reusing old info. read more

I am a marketing manager at Amazon and for some r3ason campus point qualified me for a min wage job at a US public company. The company is extremely vile, micromanagerial and I was promised admin desk tasks and ended up with almost janitorial tasks. The only thing they didn't tell me was to clean bathrooms. Nonsense. I am very disappointed. This is a scam recruiting agency. They don't hire based on skills or experience. They're very responsive. But some commission basis should be there with companies but they charge less than other agencies. read more

As a student I'm constantly hearing about how much the world needs xyz skill and campus point shows up at a career fair so i get an interview. It turns out to be a "group interview" strike one I am getting job postings from Tacoma yet I'm setup as seattle only. Strike two Hmmm So far I am less impressed with a company that makes make claims and falls short in action. Fast forward three months and three phone interviews both of which misrepresented my availability and twisted my experience. Strike three. This company seems to specialize in finding positions for people that don't exist and insists that you come to downtown Seattle for interviews and forgets to mention they don't actually have a job lined up to interview you for. Lots of talk and nothing to show for 47 hours of work but three short phone screens and wasted time. Craigslist found me a full time data job in two weeks. Save your time and ignore Campuspoint's claim that they are a recruiter. Several of the employers they sent me didn't have nice things to say about the staff. read more

They deliberately mislead you into thinking that you have an interview for their company. What you are invited for is actually an advertisement for their job agency. They do not want to hire you. They wish to be a middle man between some other unspecified companies and take a cut of your paycheck. This company has again and again disappointed me. I deactivated my account and I hope to never hear from a recruiter from them again. As somebody who graduated college during the pandemic, I've struggled with finding and applying for jobs. This company's recruiters have reached out to me with job recommendations, and has either ghosted me without sending me the job details on how to apply, or has sent me the information, and then ghosted me again. 0/10 read more

After graduating from the UW I signed up with Campus Point and completed the required group interview. I signed up for many positions as they suggested in the group interview. The jobs I applied for correlated with my background in administrative, clerical and customer service. I am not new to this game and I know what jobs I am qualified for and those I am not. Additionally, I have worked with other agencies over the years for temporary assignments and for over 95% I have had a phone interview for prospective jobs. I have not qualified for or been hired for all of them, but my qualifications have merited a phone call. With Campus Point I have not received ONE phone call in consideration for ANY of the numerous positions I have applied for. This troubled me. Especially since the positions I applied for were not specialized positions and very similar to other employment agencies. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. It has been an big disappointment first because of the quality of the positions (some for as little as minimum wage). Second, because they do nothing to help the potential candidates understand why their qualifications are lacking. In my conversations with them regarding my concerns I would have understood if they told me that there is a lot of competition for entry positions, yada, yada. But to tell me to keep on applying and daily seeing the message, "no longer under consideration", for the positions without a phone call when you know you are qualified, makes me wonder about their selection process and was incredibly discouraging. Campus Point helped me find a job that I really love! There is an in-person group interview fist that is very casual. They just explain how CP works and ask each interviewee about their skills what they are looking for in a job/employer. After this, you can apply to as many positions as you want and when a company is interested, CP will call you to set up an interview. I am temp-to-hire, so I was disappointed to find out that this means CP takes a percentage of what my employer gives them to pay me (about 25%). However, they did a great job helping me find a position that suits me and is something I am good at. read more

You'll find better paying jobs on Craigslist, trust me. The staff are just scam artists trying to make a buck off giving companies recent grads. Campus Point has been a great experience! They strictly hire college graduates for temp, contract and career driven positions. The few companies they set me up to interview for were some interesting and creative companies. It is really all about what kind of work experiences you currently have and how they can match you up with a job in that field to further grow it. I mainly worked with Claudia and Carrie and they were supportive and savvy in putting my talents in front of potential companies. The slight downfall is due to the demands of their company clientele. Depending on the time period there are trends from minimal to more jobs to apply for. And did I tell you "competition?" Yes, bring your A game to them interviews but..just know that someone has already interviewed before or after you. Ha! Game changer! Welcome to the real world my "deers in the headlights!" Overall, I would recommend their agency especially if you were me graduated college with a degree and was like..."So...uhh what should I do in the real world as a career?" They will jump start you there but you have to do your half of the work in order to make it happen for yourself. Campus Point will not advocate for you. If you are fresh out of college and hungry for a job and don't know where else to look, then you might as well go with them, but do not believe that they have your best interests at heart. They have their own interests at heart. If you already have a job and are looking for a different one, find somewhere else to look. I had a job that I had grown pretty dissatisfied with, so I started looking through Campus Point's offerings. I interviewed for and got a job that sounded interesting, but the starting compensation was too low for me. I was assured by the person who interviewed me for the company, and then by Campus Point REPEATEDLY that the starting compensation would only last for the first 3 months of work, and that right after that I absolutely would be hired on permanently, with a significant pay raise (my interviewer, in fact, heavily implied that the pay raise would put me above what my current job was paying me.) This assurance was the ONLY reason that I took the job. The "temporary" compensation was a pay cut of nearly a fourth of my previous salary, so I knew that I could not make it last for long. I budgeted very carefully, and knew that I would be able to make it exactly 3 months on lower pay due to my savings. Three months went by. I asked my boss at the company when we would discuss making me permanent, and he claimed that Campus Point was in charge of that, not him. So I emailed Campus Point, and they said they would discuss it and get back to me. A week went by and I heard nothing, so I emailed again. Again I was met with an evasive answer, so I replied another time asking for clarification. At this point they said my boss "wanted to keep things as they are," and acted like I should take this as welcome news. I asked for clarification on the timeline, and they refused to give me any, and also refused to acknowledge that at this point, their earlier assurances to me had proven empty. When I pushed them again, they told me that they didn't want to push my boss on it because he was happy with the way things were. I understood at that point that their promises to me meant nothing compared to the relationship they wanted to develop with the company. I had been deeply misled, and it left me in a heap of financial trouble. Unfortunately for me, I also became incredibly sick during this time, so my already strained finances took another blow as I dealt with trying to pay for medical treatment with Campus Point's terrible medical coverage (which would not have been a problem if I had been converted to full-time like I had been promised.) I continued trying to get an answer out of them but never did. I was eventually converted to full-time with the promised pay raise in November, after having been kept at my impossibly low compensation for nearly twice the time I had been promised. Like I said above, if you don't have another option, then Campus Point will certainly help you get a job. But do not expect them to advocate for you the way they promise they will, and do not leave a job that works for you based on anything they tell you will happen in the future. I feel incredibly lucky that my time last fall had no more lasting consequences than it did, and I would not wish those several months of financial uncertainty and panic (made worse by their refusal to give me any real answers) on anyone. read more
