My daughter was involved in a car accident the week of her high school graduation, leaving us scrambling to find a replacement vehicle at the worst possible time. We drove from North County to East County to South Bay searching for the right car and what immediately stood out about M&M Motors was the quality and cleanliness of their inventory compared to other dealerships we visited. My daughter had her eye on a Volkswagen at Manny's on her first visit but unfortunately it sold before she could return. She then set her sights on another vehicle and when the timing of her insurance settlement made it difficult to purchase immediately, Manny graciously held the car for her until she was ready. That kind of integrity is rare and it meant everything to us. After losing out on vehicles at two other dealerships during this process, it was such a relief to work with people we could genuinely trust. Manny and Jim treated my daughter with warmth, honesty and patience from start to finish. If you are in the market for a quality used vehicle look no further than M&M Motors. These are good people doing honest business and we could not recommend them more highly.

Back story- I…read morework a mile down the street from this place and I have been eyeing this specific truck for a little longer than a week and have been searching for an F150 to swap the powertrain into a Bronco. I have also looked at 2 other car sales lots on the same street one of them being Karz Plus. I walk in and instead of being greeted or asked what they can do for me, I have to ask looking at them both "who wants to help me" and I kid you not, BOTH salesman pointed at each other. Mind you they were sitting at adjacent desks and separated by a partition. So I point my attention to one since neither seemed interested in really helping. So I ask how much is the black F150. The salesman says "its already sold someone is already coming" then as I'm about to leave he then says "its actually not sold and for the right price though" then I ask "how much is it". Still yet he doesn't mention any pricing and says "I have to call the owner to see what we can do and how serious are you about buying" then I ask again "well how much is it" eventually he finally answers. After all that, 1) no salesman takes initiative 2) lied about it being already sold 3)couldn't answer a simple question after being asked 3 times. 4)couldn't actually be a salesman and was going to have to call the owner even though we hadn't even started making a deal yet. Karz plus greeted me, let me inside the truck and do a walk around. They made me an agreeable offer and financing and said they would be willing to work with me and my credit union if i do finance through them and gave me a printout of the carfax and the saleswoman even gave me her personal cell if I had any immediate questions. I have lived in this town my whole life so I have seen how these dealerships have changed over the years. The vast difference between both places is astounding and it really shows why one is expanding and the other isn't. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HERE AGAIN.

If you are considering purchasing a car here, RUN!…read more Chris seemed like a very honest and sincere person but when the car I purchased began having issues caused by their team overfilling my oil, things changed. At first, he appeared to want to make this right. I purchased this car for around $6,000. Chris said it had likely caused an issue with the turbo and said he would offer us a great price to have it fixed which I greatly appreciated. He even promised if the problem was still present after, he would not charge us. We got the car back and still the check engine light remained on and black smoke was coming out of the exhaust. I nicely spoke to him several times and even offered that I would take half the money back since times are hard for everyone. My father also tried to contact him and BOTH our numbers are now blocked. I have called the shop multiple times and no calls are returned. The last communication I had nearly a month ago was that Chris needed to do payroll and would let me know. We tried to sell the car back to him and he wouldn't take it. So after barely driving (no more commuting with COVID) and owning the vehicle for about 3 months I had to sell it to CarMax for $2,000. I understand buying a used car comes with risks, but this was a clear case of someone taking advantage and taking my money.. Chris, if you would like to make this right, you know how to reach me (just unblock my number) and I would welcome the chance for you to change my mind on your business practices and ethics.

Wow wow & wow I'm literally in shock. As a family searching for a car for our 18 year old daughter…read morewe literally don't understand why this happened with this car place and it was either their owner or manager. We are assuming it was the owner based on how he took over and talked so disrespectful to the worker and my husband. We went in this place to test drive a Lexus my daughter absolutely loved for a reasonable price. The car deal ship guy was totally normal and friendly. My husband and him spoke regarding the car and we left to talk about it. He was professional and answered all questions. Then the most ridiculous out of line incident happened the next day we went back to discuss pricing, and the typical back and fourth conversation you would have buying a car. Like I said this isn't about the worker it's about the owner/manager who came into the room while my husband was discussing everything with the sales guy. He barged in a berated his worker, shut him down, told him not to speak and basically questioned If my husband "can afford a Lexus" that was an older but reasonable starter car for our daughter. He rejected how the sales guy was going about everything. The owner started arguing with my husband and shouting at him saying "you gata prove you can even buy this car" He totally out of line and aggressive we are taken back and so confused. His worker, sales guy tried to intervene but his boss raised his hand at him to shut him down. Idk if it made him angry that they were discussing price or what happened?? My husband of course got up out of his seat and told him he don't need to prove anything to him or buy his car. That he has his own financing through our bank but instead he would rather go somewhere else if that's the way he's going treat him. That he was being so rude and it was unnecessary. Basically it was awful experience especially kinda killed the whole thing for our daughter which this was going be her very first time buying a car. It was literally a horrible experience and I was of course so pissed. Don't go there they don't deserve any business whatsoever. Ultimately we found a great little Mazda for her and had awesome experience at another local car shop. We made the deal and walked away being treated very well and gave them amazing professional review as they deserve. Idk what this was this place but honestly I feel really bad for this car sales man who works for this horrible guy. Please leave you don't deserve to be treated like a slave. Dear friends: I just…read morewant to recommend a business to you in San Diego and tell you why. The name of the business is Cyrus auto sales in Kearny Mesa. I first met the owner Dan about six years ago. When I was looking for a Prius. I realized he was a wonderful human being, but he didn't have the car in his lot that I was looking for and subsequently bought elsewhere. My daughter Casey also bought a Prius elsewhere but a few months into her purchase had a problem with the battery , I remembered Dan and took the car to him $600 later Casey had essentially a brand new lithium battery installed in her Prius. Those are the ones that you've heard can cost to $3000. He did it for $600 (replacing only bad cells)and the car ran beautifully. A couple of days ago my Prius started making the most God awful noise and shuttered to beat the band. I had an appointment in El Centro and asked a mechanic down there to look at it and he said it's in the engine. We're gonna have to get a new engine for you if you want to do that it'll be about $1500, 2500 to 3000 installed. I started looking for a new car and then I remembered Dan. I took the car in to Dan told him my tail of whoa. The car has now been driven 150 miles with this banging. Dan said I'll have my mechanic look at it and see what we can do. He said I would not put a new engine in it. It's too expensive not really cost-effective if I can fix it I will. If not, I will tell you . Today ( I took it in yesterday ) I'm picking up my car today for a total price of $300. My issue resolved. This is an honest man with a small business and if you're in need of a car or service, give Dan a call. You'll be doing yourself and Dan a service. 858-277-1028.

This review is 8 months over due…read more WARNING: if you ever want to get a used car through Cyrus Autosales, it pays to go to Toyota San Diego and speak to the manager there. Though you've to fork money out to have them do a safety/pre-buyers inspection on the car. If I had done that, I wouldn't have bought this car from this dealership at all. Dan passed off the visual inspection sheet from Toyota as a safety inspection sheet. That in itself is FRAUD and something that I actually consulted an auto fraud lawyer about. For starters , when I got my car and took it to AAA less than 12 hours after picking up and paying $10,200 for the car, it was leaking coolant and 2 error codes- one for the 12 volt and the other for the engine came up. Dan CLAIMED that the AAA auto repair shop I went to didn't know what they were doing. The window gears were also noisy and parts of the cars rubber were melted due to heat damage. The dash screen was also very brown due to heat damage. A Toyota estimate to fix that screen was between $1500-4000. Dan replaced the melted hatch back handle and fixed the leaking coolant but didn't address the noisy gears or the error codes. To compound issues, within 3 weeks of buying the car, my combination meter started malfunctioning. This happens when the combination meter blacks out (the part that shows speeds and hazard lights) and you are not able to turn your car on and off. Over the next 3 weeks it got so bad to the point that I could not drive the car to classes as it would not turn off. Dan OFFERED TO FOOT PART OF A BACK ALLEY FIX WITH A Junkyard Prius' COMBINATION METER. I refused as that would alter the odometer and have no guarantees of an actual fix. As such I ended up having to tow my car to Toyota San Diego for service. Turns out the same error codes pulled up by AAA were pulled up by Toyota. My coolant valve was not properly supplying my engine with coolant and that's why my engine light kept coming up and one of the two error codes was for that. At that point I couldn't drive my car anymore as it would not even turn on. The other error code was because my 12 Volt was fried and needed to be replaced. In the process of Toyota replacing my combination meter, most of the frames holding my aircon vents crumbled and they had to replace all the vents. To sum it up, within 6 weeks of purchasing my car, I had to spend almost $1800 just to make this car safe to drive. I also found out that I overpaid for the car as when I tried to sell the car to Carmax even after fixing all the problems, they only offered me a paltry $5k for everything. I was told by the manager that they wouldn't sell my car for more than $8k (vs the $10,200 I paid). As such, I have decided to retain this car even with more potential problems due to the car's poor maintenance prior to me buying it. He also sold me a regular Prius control instead of a smart key which is what my car uses. If he were truly that "Prius expert" he calls himself, surely he would not have sold me the wrong key. I did return that key to him. Please be careful if you'd like to buy a used Prius from him. Don't let these nice reviews fool you. Speak to Toyota San Diego about the car you are considering from him.
