Had our motorhome in for level system recall. Service replaced bracket for pump and motor. Never connected the ground cable. When I called the service department they gave me an attitude and said all they did was replaced bracket and nothing they did would cause system not to work. We purchased our RV here in 2018, Must say that the transaction was kind of painful as it took hours to complete. Anyways transaction finished and we where getting ready to leave with the rig and not one employee was around to help us out. seamed they all have one task and none of them overlap, so i personally had to walk back in the store purchase my own screwdriver in order to install the license plate on the rig. strike 1. strike 2 went back 6 months later for some warrantee service, had appointment . Part supposedly in hand get there and there and there is no one around that knew what was going on, they held our rig for 2 weeks to change a battery box and install 1 screw. it could of been more than 1 hour of work. Strike 3 it is impossible to contact a human in the store no one ever answers the phone when you call all extensions just ring and ring and ring determined to get a human i let the phone ring on 2 occasions for 20mins. Trying to get service from them is terrible i suggest you go elsewhere. I have contact Jayco to see if they can refer us to another Jayco dealer for our recall work. All in all just a heads up Do not do business with Camping World located in Berkley MA you will be much happier elsewhere. read more

My husband and I just purchased a 2018 keystone cougar. We have had a number of issues and the service department is useless. One of the strings in our kitchen blind was broken, our refrigerator panel was not in place, our fireplace remote doesn't work, the top of our hidden television was warped. Television was noted at walk through and ordered, we had to contact keystone to finally get the replacement. My husband fixed the blind and fridge. He just brought the TV remote back and was told they have no idea when we will get the replacement. read more

My husband and I attended the Camping Show in RI on March 4th with the intentions to look around. We had planned to actually purchase an RV the following year hence we did not have a large down payments in the budget. To make a long story short we were unwise and allowed ourselves to be talked into "financing" an RV with Camping World. Even though we could only swing a small down payment we were advised by both the Finance Manager and Sales Manager that "Congratulations you just bought yourselves an RV....come into the store next weekend to finalize the financing." They went as far as to tell us the bank in which we were financed and guaranteed the payments were within our requested range. What a mistake!!!! Here we are 3 weeks later and we have been given nothing but the run around since. I've yet to get an actual confirmation that the financing fell through but seeing how the exact RV they "sold" us, exact stock number and all, is back online for sale it's safe to say its a no go!!!! Not a single call back in over a week! At this point my husband and I continue to leave messages with the store in order to work out getting our down payment refunded back to us!!!! read more

This was my first experience with camping world. Was trying to help my sister by ordering a lockset for an older camper. Initially, the order went well. Nice job locating what was needed. Problem was when trying to install lockset it would not work. Several people have tried to install an it does not work. Tried to return for a replacement. However, was told this was a special order and unable to replace. I was told that I could have broken it. They stated they were not with me when I opened the package. They brought it out back and worked on it and advised me it was all set. It was still broken and does not unlock. I wished I read some of these reviews before we went there. Jean our sales person was great, right up until we signed papers. Then he dropped us like a hot rock. It took four week (28 days) before we were able to drive our new 2019 fifth wheel off the lot. So much for being a Good Sam Elite member . Sales department seem not to communicate with parts department, parts department seems not to communicate with service, no one wanted to communicate with the customer. If I knew the status I would not have been so frustrated with Camping World Berkley. Picking up our fifth wheel was another 3 plus hour adventure. Could not get any good answers on what work was done, when, and cost. Vent covers were wrong, parts ordered were not installed and put in the storage bay of the camper, battery was dead, and three running lights were out. Jean our sales person walked right by us, and he didn't even say hello. If he says he didn't know who we were, he should have. At that point I didn't care because we were dealing with service. Camping World what you can do is re-train your Berkley campus on customer communication, general internal communication, and your sales people that their job is not done until their customers are home and satisfied. On a positive note: The back shop folks we dealt with were great. Marina at the service counter was good, even if she told me things I didn't want to hear. She was straight, honest, and helpful. So far we really like our Cougar 25RES fifth wheel. And I'm liking the fifth wheel Super-Glide hitch. read more

Buyers Beware! I had a contract to purchase with a deposit on a sprinter rv from Camping World in Berkley, Mass. With no warning SOLD it to another party for higher sale amount. To be exact $13k higher. I was lied to stating that the RV needed to be serviced. Meanwhile they were preparing the RV for higher sale buyer. They then informed me after the higher sale that the RV was unsaleable. My wife and I had our travel plans in place to travel from Florida and we're devastated. I've purchased many items from dealers in the past and have never been treated this way! Apparently Camping World in Berkeley, Mass. and the sales manager Jerry Cadorette don't practice Business Ethics. If you have a chance to buy from another Dealership I would STRONGLY recommend. read more

We just purchased our first camper! Barbara was great! No pressure. Made everything easy! Lots of sales people around, all answered questions but none of them hovered or were overbearing. I definitely would recommend coming here if you are in the market for a camper! Ok....I'm changing my review....I've never been so disappointed with the purchasing process on anything I bought. I went to the signing and besides the walkthrough which was excellent.....shown everything that we needed to no.....it was horrible. I just wanted to get the heck out of there....we went into the room, supposedly to sign the papers. Instead had to sit through a sales freaking presentation for the company and all the extra things they want you to buy along with the camper. It was over an hour before we even got to the papers! By the time I left that room all happiness about the purchase was gone. Then.....I went over to buy necessities to set up the camper....went to pay....and yup! Another sales pitch, tried to get me to upgrade the good sams membership I just got with the financial guy....then...said I was preapproved for a credit card and went over the benefits of the card....oh lord! Seriously! Enough with the sales pitches! And! Salesperson never even came over to say congrats and good luck. The paperwork that my insurance person sent over had an error in it and if it wasn't for us calling them to confirm that they received the forms...which we didn't call till the next day...we wouldn't have known that it needed to be resent. The office should have been in touch as soon as they saw an error. As a result the registering of the camper...delayed. Very dissatisfied! I would love to pm with you but I don't know how! Purchased new Thor Challenger on 10/1 ($120k) Noticed broken items when I got it home (awning, Tv, Lights, etc). Brought in for warranty service 11/14. 2 weeks later, "working on it".. Month later "working on it".. 2 months later "working on it".. 3 months later, nothing done, pulled unit out.. NOTHING COMPLETED.. Lies lies lies.. stall stall stall.. lies lies lies..zero stars if I could. 1 recall they "fixed" they actually broke.. now it's worse than when I brought in.. Horrible Business.. Dropped my Class A off for repairs with four healthy happy fully charged 6 volt house batteries. We recently returned from a 6 month cross country trip and boondocked often. The batteries worked fine. Eight weeks after delivering my Class A to Camping World it was returned to me with the repairs completed and four completely dead 6 volt house batteries. I immediately informed the service people and they documented on the work order that the batteries were dead before I left the lot. I took my RV home and plugged into shore power and allowed the converter to charge the batteries for 48 hours. After charging they indicated 100%. I then removed shore power and allowed the batteries to power the coach. I turned nothing on but the residential refrigerator. After only 4.5 hours the batteries were down to 50%. Wet cell lead/acid batteries should never be drained below 50% because this can damage the batteries. In other words, the batteries that would normally power the fridge for two days now only lasted 4.5 hours. I returned to Camping World and explained that they had severely damaged my batteries and that they now needed to be replaced and I wanted them to split the cost with me as their negligence had cut the service life of my batteries in half. The service manager was unwilling to share any of the blame or any of the cost of replacing the batteries. read more

The worst experience ever. An aluminum shaving from a drill hole was left under the rubber membrane in my slide out. Clearly a manufacturer issue. The roof was eventually cut through and caused a leak. Roof sags in the middle, and is springy in a 1 foot section of the leak. It reported that there is no damage. Forest river will not repair it, Outside Warranty. Camping World just taped it over. Will never purchase a First River product line again or deal with Camping World. Neither company backs their products or the products they sell. Have yet to receive a call back from Forest River after numerous messages. Quality control is severely lacking. Camping World Service is very hard to reach. I had to drive an hour to speak to someone. My camper had been there for 6 months. read more

Do not use their service department. They take forever to perform any service. Totally incompetent. We paid to have a Saf T Plus steering control unit installed. The 1st time we picked it up it was not adjusted correctly since the RV pulled severely to the left. Took it back for adjustment. When we then had it serviced at a different service center we found out that the Saf T Plus unit was not there. They must have removed it instead of adjusting it. I only received a call back after writing a letter to the general manager. Essentially told us we are out of luck since they didn't record that they removed it. Apparently it disappeared on its own. read more

I tried to buy a used 2009 Roadtrek 170 Popular from Camping World in Berkley, MA. It was advertised on their website. It had less than 13,000 miles. Pictures and descriptions looked exactly what I was looking for. I contacted their sales department and was told they would not sell it to me unless I came to see it. That meant living in Missouri would require plane tickets and another person to accompany me should I decide to buy and drive it home. But they would not hold it for me without a non-refundable deposit of $1,000. No way would I buy tickets and take the chance that the RV had been sold prior to my arrival so I agreed to the demand of a $1,000 on April 10. Ten days went by and I was constantly sending some form of communication inquiring about the condition, rust on under carriage, batteries, tires, hoses and power cables and so on to make sure it was exactly as described to me. Replies to my questions were slow and delayed. Every time there was an excuse- busy, lunch, day off, meetings to attend and the list would grow. Never ending story. It wasn't until April 20th I was informed that the generator had been removed by previous owner and never replaced!! Of course the salesman said that was the reason for low price. I had to remind him that originally he told me I was getting a price reduction since I was financing with them. I told him I was upset to find out 4 days before I was supposed to fly there that it don't have a working generator. He later told me they no longer make a drop in generator for that year RoadTrek. Naturally he said there wasn't anything he could do since it was the weekend. So today April 22, he sent an email to me stating they would offer $500 -$1000 to offset the lack of a generator. He also told me that he didn't know until that Saturday that it didn't have a generator! Needless to say I am not flying to MA to check out this non generator RoadTrek RV. With all the lies, deception and false advertising you can imagine what else might be wrong with this RV! BTW they did REFUND my NON- refundable deposit. I commend them for their honesty for their lies! It would have left a better taste in my mouth and wallet had they reimbursed me for the cost of the airplane fare! People had warned me about Camping World prior to my looking at this RV but I shrugged it off. I found out that they were correct. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with customer service in the service department at this location. The place is overwhelmed with warranty issues not that all of them are Camping World's fault but they should stand behind the product they sell. My family and I purchased Heartland Mallard M33 and I've had many issues with water leaks and other warranty items that were supposed to be fixed and after having my camper for nearly 5 months were never corrected. I have spoken to the corporate headquarters and they were supposed to be sending the general manager and service manager in Berkley an email. But that was over a week ago and I have yet to even get a phone call from this Berkley Camping World location. I have called numerous times and even gave the receptionist a message because she said she has to give handwritten message to the general manager because he was "in a meeting" and she could not give me his email address?? I like the floor plan layout of this Heartland Mallard trailer but had I known I was going to run into this many issues I would have stayed away from this manufacturer. Now as time passes and my warranty is going to be up, I fully anticipate Camping World to honor the warranty of the water leaks for the brand new 2017 trailer that they sold me. It would have been nice if I at least got some type of phone call on the progress during the 5 months that they had it over the winter, but I had to keep calling to check up on things. Totally dissatisfied with the service we received, we took the camper I. On 7 February requesting specific work and a 45 point inspection, they failed to discover a leak in the water heater, failed to fix a plumbing issue. This was the second time we had the camper in for the water heater issue . We did not get the camper back until June 25th, they asked for our arrival time, we told them we'd be there at 2 pm the camper was not ready, we did not get the camper until 4, I would not recommend them for anything! read more

I bought a brand new Heartland Mallard M185 from Camping World in Berkley Massachusetts who may be the most incompetent dealership that has ever existed. The brand new camper had a bunch of initial quality issues. Too many to mention here, but the game changer was the leaking roof. Yes, a brand new camper has a roof that leaks! Thought I was just unlucky and had to fight with Camping World of Berkley to get a replacement. I took receipt of another brand new Heartland Mallard M185 and that roof leaks too! Camping World of Berkley now wants nothing to do with standing behind a product they sell. Buyer beware! I purchased Thor sprinter last September. I was spending the summer on cape cod but I live in Florida. When I picked up the motorhome there was a laundry list of things to fix. Control panel cracked and not functioning correctly, tail light not working , wood trim cracked etc. after purchasing the RV I could not get them to answer the phone. The only way I got a appointment was to drive there and face to face with them. They replaced the tail light LED with a bulb fixture guess what it never worked. By this time I needed to head home. They assured me the work could be performed at the nearest camper world in Florida to me, numerous times. The Thor factory finely sent me the correct tail light which I installed. Works great. Thor was very responsive. After waiting till March I recalled Berkley service to see if the other parts had arrived. The service person told me they had already closed the item for the cracked wood , not repaired. They told me the control panel Zen and I reminded them that I lived in Florida and could they ship it to the Dover camping world. He said he would get back to me. After waiting a day I called them and they said they had just issued a new policy and they would not ship parts from one dealer to another. They told me to go to Dover and start the process all over again. I will never recommend or buy another piece of equipment from them read more

We were out shopping, went to Pete's rv and campers inn. The experience was such a turn off. Then we went to Camping World in Berkley. We were amazed at how much inventory they had and had such a great experience. The staff was so knowledgeable. We worked with Jay Ptaszenski. Jay introduced us to the GM Jerry Cadorette where he was able to work the deal to fit in our budget and took the time to go over everything with us personally. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the market. read more

The worst customer service experience EVER... If you are thinking of buying, servicing, your purchasing anything to do with camping, RUN dont WALK RUN in the opposite direction of camping world. Took my 5th camper in for service (fridge wasnt working) in August, when I took it in I told them that I had book a trip for september,, they told no problem.. Well there was a problem.. the camper wasnt ready. I called, left msgs. NO reply.. There is never anyone at the service desk, they dont believe in answering phones. After much stress the camper was ready.. Picked it up and used it for 1 month. Fridge is working properly.. mind you it was fixed, we replaced the Fridge with a brand new one. Take it back to camping world to fix the problem, when my husband dropped off the camper , he told it was getting time to winterize the camper , how long were they going to take. He was told not a problem , if the camper is here we will winterize it... fast forward to 2 weeks. Still no camper, still no answer as to what the problem is with the Fridge.. I called and was told that customer service rep was going to deal with me, because I made her cry.. Anyone who know me, know that I can do that, but trust I didnt. I called today still no answer, spoke with the sales manager, listed to me tell the whole story, told me he was going to call me back with in an hour or so... BULL... I was basically told my the service rep, to come and get my camper... If I was her boss, she would not have a job. How does a customer service rep that a customer to take her business else where.. Well I paid close to $2000 for the Fridge, they will see me there until the replace the fridge. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD IN BERKLY... The reviews that speak well of them, probably only shopped there once, this is not the first time that I felt their customer service was below standards. We bought a camper 4/25. We FINALLY just got it today 5/31. After many phones calls and two weeks we finally got the parts needed for it, then it was another 3 weeks we finally got it and was told it was de-winterize and the battery was charged, however battery was not charged. Moving in it tomorrow and hopefully it'll be ok. Once we signed our deal they washed their hands with us. It's been nothing but phone calls and going down there just to get the camper. My husband went to the Berkley store this morning to purchase a instant canopy, along with some other items. He asked the young store associate if they had the canopy in stock. The associate responded by telling him that he didn't know. He also told my husband that if he sees it, then it's in stock and if he doesn't see it, then it's not. My husband then asked the associate if he could order the item. This time the associate told my husband that he didn't know and also, that he was BUSY. The store was busy but there is not excuse for this type of rudeness, especially since we are a customer and we were looking to make a purchase. BEWARE! My parents bought a brand new camper in the fall from this location. They took it to their favorite campground yesterday for the first time, hooked up the water and the ENTIRE camper flooded. Water was pouring out, no not dripping, spraying and pouring out of the walls and floors, toilet, literally everywhere. There's a sticker still on the camper that says THIS UNIT HAS BEEN WINTERIZED. But was it? The plumber at the campground opened things up and found that ALL of the pipes burst. The campsites next to them (who they don't know) the plumber and the staff all tried helping them and ALL said this unit is done for. I guess sales staff leave on Fridays before 3 so my mother had to call the General Manager today. Jerry seemed to think that by taking her call he was doing her a favor. He actually told my mom she needed to stop being so demanding on the phone. Not sure if he's ever bought a $23,000 towing camper, gone camping for the first time, had the entire unit explode with water in front of campers, staff, etc and then been told that she was being demanding when asking for him to make it right. Hey Jerry, please don't belittle my mother. When she brings the trailer in next week please know that this is my parents plan for retirement so this is more than just another complaining customer. I am a first timer and initially the staff was friendly....however since I signed on the dotted line it has been horrible......sitting on hold for upward of 35 minutes, promise dates that come and go. I spent over $1000. on cameras for my new trailer that I cant use because they have to be paired every time I need to use them which would entail transporting and 8" ladder to reach (which I was told was not the case). At one point I needed help with an issue and called 3 time between Monday and Thursday with no return calls finally I called and after being on hold for 25 minutes I was told the service department was very busy helping other customers....while I was waiting on hold I was in-route to Camping World Berkley, I arrived while I was being told how busy they were and sat in the parking lot looking inside the dealership ....there was no one at the counter and the people behind the counter where on their cell phone or so it appeared. When I walked up to the counter they put their phones away and helped...... I have never wrote bad review however this lack of customer service needs to be noted, after just getting off the phone with someone who explained snarkly that all her service people were in training which is why I had to wait on hold for 17 minutes, then they no time to see for 2 weeks. Being a business owner myself I would value this information. I spent over 32K on my trailer and expected to be treated better. read more

Don't even know where to start...Let me start with this, it was obvious and quit evident that NOT one employee cares what the consumer needs are. I spoke with a young lady by the name of Marina, yes she was friendly and attentive to my needs at the point of sale. When the sale went through, the customer services was almost NON-existing.Unprofessional, rude, unbecoming and definitely NO knowledge of the product they were selling. Marina forgot that the trailer needs keys to get it and out (couldn't find key at the last minute of pick-up) I expressed my concerns about the musty smell (used travel trailer) and asked her to please address that and more specifically the refrigerator needed to be decontaminated and to please give the trailer a clean prior to pick-up. She YES me to death and when I went to pick-up the trailer, there cleaning process was to throw a few Bounce sheets in every corner of the trailer in hopes it would masquerade my concern, nothing else. On top of it all, the refrigerator was not cleaned and the excuse Marina gave me for not installing the window shades was that her co-worker weren't available and that her "co-workers would not lend her a drill" mind you they had almsot 5 days with it prior to pick up.... REALLY!!!! The orientation of the unit was HORRIBLE, BELOW STANDARDS....Like GREG C post, he new the bare minimum, How to turn on the lights was probably the extend of his knowledge on the products he sells. When I say he didn't know much, that's probably an understatement. The orientation was delayed by 2 hours, my transporter inspected the outside of the vehicle and found that one nut was missing from one of the tires (replaced old tires). When we asked to address that issue, the employee seemed offended that we even asked and pass the buck to another department. When we went to the department were we were told to go, they passed the buck to another department. NO ACCOUNTABILITY whats so ever at this location starting form the top down. The orientation was so horrible that I purchase this travel trailer (Novice with travel trailers) a month ago and I'm learning the basic operations on my own. Now I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent man, but what happens to those that are not so mechanically inclined. Plain and simple, they just didn't care!!!! I though it was only concentrated at that location, BOY WAS I WRONG (against my better judgement) ...I called to purchase and item that I needed online...my lord do these employees at Camping World take classes to be rude or blame the customer every chance they get. It seems that is the MO of camping world. HORRIBLE customer services online as well. I WILL NEVER purchase another item from camping world nor would I recommend ANYONE to make any purchase from them in the future or your going to find yourself right here writing a comment on the horrible services....BE WARNED....They know there to big to fail so they treat you in the manner that it's convenient for them and definitely NOT the consumer.....BELOW STANDARD SERVICES!....Good luck, if you decide to forgo all these warnings and end up like me and many writing poor reviews on this company!!!!!!!Don't bother complaining to the top managers, they lead by example...need I say anymore! read more

Brought my coach in for a lube oil and filter. I was told the oil and filter was $125 and it would be another $100 to lube the chassis. I told them to stuff it. On 6/26/18 around 11 o'clock I went in to pick up a few items for our rv. I found the three associates that waited on me were great. All three were very helpful. Wow wish I had read these reviews before trying to buy a new RV here. Well we went in to look only but we're incouraged to look at a special priced travel trailer. It was awesome really liked it. So here gose paperwork. All the while the salesman was very busy but it looked like a deal was going to happen. So 2 days later had an appointment to finish paperwork all the time being told it was a done deal. So papers signed and out comes the SOLD sticker on our name put on it and we walked to the unit and watched as it was applied to the tank cover. Camping World is not in our back yard so we reviewed the docs and the folder they were in. The orientation day and time were the main thing we were looking at. Saturday May 12, at 9 AM. So this is Tuesday and after we got home had some questions about switching out hitch and were given a name in service to contact. Then by the way when can we bring in our trade. On schedule Sat. Work until 4 m-f . Gets to be Friday the day before and had not heard so my wife calls to confirm orientation. Left message with salesman ,nothing. Called again, nothing. He finially calls explains he is on the golf course and something has come up and we need to reschedule. So Sat comes and no call. Waited till after lunch and my wife calls again. Told he was just going to call he was working on it but it was a financial issue. But would get right back to her, nothing.4 PM comes they change the phones over right on time. No way to reach anyone. Our salesman had said something about a staff meeting Sunday May 13 the at 11 AM should know something by then.Again closing time and nothing. Sometime after 7:30 pm in come a call. Says it was a busy day and this was his first chance to call. Problem with finance and if we still wanted the camper we would need our own finances. When my wife asked what was going on he said he thought it had something to do with our trade but not sure. This guy waited to call us from his home we could hear his kids in the back ground. Why he waited was beyond us. When asked why everything was great, all done but the pick up, he said he was repeteing what he was told. No deal he would get a refund check for the deposit made out they had already cashed. So we had cleaned out our trade. Took the day off from work ( $240 ) our truck hooked to the trade everything a go and the rug pulled. Chris in financial was apologetic but our extremely unprofessional salesman Jay Ptaszenski is probably the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. To anyone who is looking to buy a camper DONT GO TO Camping World of Berkeley. And don't buy a rv made by Keystone. On our first camping trip in our brand new camper we had a leak in the bath tub faucet which was bad enough to flood the underbelly of the camper. The service department at Camping World was horrible. Every time I called to check for updates on our camper either no one would call me back or I had to explain my story all over again. At one point they called me to tell me that they didn't know where my camper was, as in they lost it!!! It was clear that there is no communication in the department. It was a fight to get the issue and damage covered on warranty and the whole process took almost 2 months!!!!! On top of that they checked for mold by putting cuts into the under garment of the camper and didn't take the time to seal the cuts up and make them weather tight!!! In all I had to cancel a second camping trip this summer, lost over time, two trips back to Camping World, lost vacation time at work, lost day of vacation in lake George, made 2 camper payments with out having my camper and a trip to Home Depot while on vacation for fans and supplies to dry my camper out all came to just over 700 dollars. I understand things happen, all I wanted was my camper fixed right in a timely fashion. Now my camper is still not right but I can do a better job fixing it on my own than the service department can. read more

Customer service is an absolute joke!!! Bought a $40,000 trailer and have used it 6 times and have owned it now for about 15 months and camping world of Berkeley has had it for 3 months of the 15 and yet every time I pick it up a new problem arises. I bought the extended warranty and yet after 5 uses of the camper the motor apparently was not operating correctly for 1 of the slides and it did not fully slide out creating a seal so over night 2 inches of water flooded my entire camper. Dropped off to get fixed and found out the motor for the slide on a 15 month old camper was not covered under the manufacturer or extended warranty. Obviously I paid to have it fixed as I don't want my camper to keep getting water in it. Went today to clean it up and put stuff in for an upcoming trip and the slide that was repaired by camping world is broken. I cannot take it or push it out any further as now all the cables are off track. Did I get a call back from camping world of berkley? Lol nope we never do! I left a message for the manager on duty at 330pm and hey don't close until 7pm. I explained my situation and my displeasure and how I needed a call back. now yet again it's raining and I had to tarp my camper to keep the water out. So I had to call around to mobile rv repairmen to come by so that someone could come and fix the issue that is clearly a repeat problem now. Did I mention the camper has been slept in for 12 nights only? I have left numerous messages over winter to figure out issues with my camper when they had it and it takes weeks sometimes to get ahold of someone. Same excuse that they are short staffed. I urge anyone looking to buy a camper to shop elsewhere!!!' They have great selection but absolutely horrendous service and I am going to look into trading it in at another dealer just to be rid of this relationship with camping world. Buyer beware read more

Buying our new RV was a pleasant experience. They price was very competitive, relatively easy and a good experience with the sales staff. BUT... trying to get parts and service was horrible. I've waited about 3 months just to get a key that was missing. Now we have a warranty issue and when you call the service dept. the phone just rings and rings and rings. No voice mail, no one answers after 10+ attempts. Finally, I called the sales and parts dept and asked them to contact me. 5 hours later, someone called me back. I understand that this is their busy season, but not to have someone answer the phone or have voice mail is inexcusable. We would never buy another RV from them. read more

It has been just over a year since we purchased our camper, now at the end of the season we returned to Camping World to see if there was any way we could upgrade our camper to a motorhome. We were able to speak with our original sales person, and explained the situation. After Barbara went over options with us, we then looked at a couple of motors homes on the lot. We immediately fell in love with a 37 foot challenger. What an amazing coach. After going over the numbers, we asked to speak with the General Manager. Jerry came over and spoke with us and worked out the entire deal, of which we were very happy about. Both Barbara and Jerry were awesome. If you are in the market for a camper go see them. Hands down the best people in the dealership. We are now repeat buyers from this place and it is because of them both. read more
