They have had my RV for more than six months. Work was for three simple repairs. Replace mirror style screen for the backup camera, fix a sticky step and check a leak at the water filter. This was the beginning of Sept. after 5 or 6 weeks I was being told parts were ordered and some had to be back ordered. We knew a fall/winter trip was out as wellI was told not to drive for 6 months. The repairs were not completed. The cleaned was not completed. The back-up camera was installed but was not as described. Step not fixed, water not checked and empty. For the sake of my backspin and the long walk to the service counter I paid the bill on a promise everything was done and it would be cleaned just before PU. Now after a review of the bill I see they entirely screwed-up the repairs. Parts not ordered for months, questions about freeze damage. Blatant lies about parts, no follow-up calls or requested estimates not provided, failed to order parts for off site repairer. I missed an opportunity to sell the unit. Everything!!! My previous RV was from this place. I was on a X country trip, in Utah. After driving all day we camped, set up the site, city water etc.. A short time later we started hearing loud noise's. The rivets were popping, ceiling, walls & doors buckled. Bottom line, the previous owner altered/removed the water tank over flow valve. After informing our CW dealer, they said there was nothing they could do for us. The RV, Supposedly was inspected before delivery & allegedly all systems were operable. We received zero assistance or satisfaction from the dealer. We Even contacted corporate. We continued our fight, complaining for 8 months to 12 mos. Our only salvation, was insurance. EVERYTHING they say about camping world is true. Do not shop here. I ordered two side tables online used good Sam credit, plus paid to be shipped to Berkeley Massachusetts store. I went today to pick them up. They told me when I made the order. They were out of stock and canceled my order, but they had them today and charged my husband full price. They didn't give the good Sam $31 credit back. When I called them, they told me I don't get points back and it's just too bad. What I don't understand is I ordered the tables, never knew they were out of stock, went today to pick them up and they had them. What is the difference? I have purchased a Grandview Villa at the end of September 2024. There was stuff that need to be repaired from the manufacturer. They've done some stuff but I am now still waiting on stuff to be done and they say they're waiting for a forest river to give them the OK to repair them. My camper is still in their lot and I'm waiting for it to be finished and all I get is a runaround and they keep blaming Forest River why the repairs haven't been done. It is now April 25 of 2025. I had to call corporate on them and corporate gave me the runaround and blamed Forest River also. I believe I have to call the Attorney General on them. read more

This company is absolutely the worst. They lied to our faces regarding promotional option promised by the sales staff, and failed to support their product after damages and problems were pointed out before delivery. This was a brand new, never used RV and the response from the company was simply "It's your problem not ours." They honestly do not care about the customer and after a much deeper inspection of the RV once we took it home, we determined that certain parts had been taken out ( like the gasket for the refrigerator door) or replaced with older/damaged parts from other trailers. Again and again we called and tried to work out how to get things fixed and had to seek out other repair providers as Camping World would not help in any useful manner. I have been in a price dispute with the GM Eddie for a week or so now due to them scratching my truck installing an Andersen hitch. When I dropped my truck off the service person and I walked around my 2 month old truck that I have driven just a few times and wrote on the paperwork it was in perfect condition. When I got it back it had scratches all over from the hitch. I have tried to be fair with them even getting agreement from his store manager. She made me an offer that was too low so I asked her to put something together that was fair. I have e email several times trying to work things out. I cant make this up. We stopped in the other day because I am looking for an R-pod trailer. We walked over to the receptionist area and I asked the girl do they have any R-pods and she didn't know. No big deal. She asked for my name which I provided. Then a few minutes later as a salesperson was standing next to her now she said "what is your phone number". I said I don't need to provide my phone number alls I need to know is do you have any R-pods outside to look at. The sales guy then pipped up and said to her "dont worry" and then he asked me what I was looking for and I said, do you have any R-pods and he said no. First off, he never said, hello my name is XXXX, how can I help you. It was more of what was i looking for. When I said the R-pod and he said we don't have any the conversation ended there. It should have been hello my name is XXX, what can I help you with. Well we are looking or R-pods. Sorry we dont have any of those. We may have some others that you might be interested in, what is your towing capacity, etc etc. When we walked out, I saw a few smaller trailers and we went inside them but his loss because we would not buy from him personally because his customer service skills were terrible. Let me start by saying I can't rate Camping World low enough! We purchased a 2020 Montana 5th Wheel, Model 3931FB back in May 2020 and have had multiple issues since we picked it up. We had no intentions to buy a Montana 5th Wheel although we did love them until Campers World in Berkley MA spoke with us explaining just how wonderful they were and the high quality they carry. With that said, on our first trip out which was only 3 weeks after the purchase we had a severe water leak in the underbelly just to find out the cause was that the manufacturer simply forgot to put the cap on the low water drain. Which means the unit was never pressure tested by them nor Campers World as they said. Also, we had issues with the cap lights, entry door, storage area leaking, side skirt panel falling off, nails falling out of slide out causing damage to kitchen floor and moldings in living room and Bathroom falling down. They repaired most of the issues after having the unit multiple times for several months. They repaired the floor, (not replace) and it looked worse than it was prior. At this time, they assured us that they inspected for any additional nails, and everything would be ok. Well, our next camping trip we found an additional rip in the floor, I crawled under the slid out and found multiple nails falling out for no apparent reason. To make a bad story short we ended up getting 4 more tears in the floor after they inspected it 4 separate times (I was the one that found the 17 nails). After speaking and contacting multiple managers (27 times, YES 27 times!), service personnel (which most are no longer there) and going as far as contacting Marcus Lemonis (CEO of Campers World, corporate office) I was told nothing could be done, even after I purchased their $3000 warrantee and indicated I was taking legal action. I can't imagine letting anyone go through what we and multiple others have endured. Lastly, after all that it was in from December 2022- March 2023 to inspect and fix molding a 2nd time along with checking the floor for nails, we arrived and waited 2 hrs because it wasn't ready. Batteries went dead as they left it on so we couldn't open it to inspect, we got home and found even more floor damage and nails plus the rear floor and wall near coach was water damaged. They must have left slider open and not level. Contacted Jerry Cadorette and customer service and no one has called me to this day. As you can imagine this has been a very difficult issue we have been dealing with since day one after purchasing a $100k camper. We have sense contacted the Better Business Bureau and are waiting for a response before contacting an attorney. Just a couple of the multiple pictures I have listed below. read more

I purchased a camper here August 6th. Place is a disaster! Good luck getting a hold of anyone ever if you need anything. This dealer charged a prep fee of $1500, do not accept it. I was assured they do a thorough inspection and clean the RV Before pick up. Neither of these things happened! I went for my walk through, no plates on my vehicle! Water heater non operational, tilt bed broke as I showed it to my son! 2 year old propane tanks installed on brand new camper! They didn't even wash the outside! My plates were ready at the rmv (I confirmed with them online and by phone) but was lied to about them "being in queue" by the salesman. $400 DOC fee and they aren't bothered to get your plates and reg for walkthrough inspection! I just went to open my outdoor shower access only to find I don't have the key for it! Service isn't in today is a common thing you will hear. The repairs made to the defects are shotty at best, would you want a nut and bolt rubbing the bottom of your mattress? The water heater temp selection jumps all over the place when trying to select the temp you would like. Some of these things I can blame the manufacturer for, but not after paying $1500 for camping world to inspect! read more

Not only do I have my own horrible experience with them, I hear many many stories from fellow campers at my seasonal campground. People who have been camping for YEARS!!! "Seasoned" campers know enough to stay away from Camping World of Berkley, but people new to camping may not know of the horrible reputation. The positive reviews are clearly from people still riding the high of new ownership. Just wait until things start going wrong... Buyer beware!! Buy somewhere else. These people are shady. I bought a camper from them. The original cost was 20k they tried to charge me 30k . I mentioned it to them they told me I was right and they fixed the price except when I finally got the pos it was sold at 24k. I contacted them again they claimed the price was correct. I have a Screencast of the exact camper with the lot number and price on it bit they wouldn't except it due to the link being not usable bc the camper was already sold . Called headquarters and they said someone from upper management would reach out ot me but three weeks later no phone call. Just keep getting the run around from store management. Also they charged $900 for a delivery fee wich includes a cleaning inside and out . Only proble is when they cleaned it they left the bathroom vent open and the camper now has water damage in the bathroom. The will not fix the damages. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !!! My salespersons name was Barbara, she was straight forward, not a high pressure salesperson. I felt very comfortable with her abilities and knowledge. Once we agreed to buy the camper and signed our paperwork some repairs were needed. I was kept informed of the status of the repairs while they were happening and given constant updates. I had another issue once I brought the rv home and called Barbara to inform her, she immediately arranged for the service department to call me and bring the vehicle in to be looked at. This is not my first motorhome. I bought a new 2012 Thor 30FE on April 20, 2021. It has been at Camping World 154 days out of 304 days of ownership. When brought in for warranty repairs it can sit in one of their lots waiting for a technician to work on it for days if not weeks. While in their care other problems develop and they claim it is your neglect that caused it while in their care and they don't want to help with the problem or tell you it will cost you to fix it. I learned when warranty work is approved it may take days or weeks to get the parts or repair completed. Only to find when you come to pick it up the work was poorly handled or not at all but marked on the work order it was completed when it wasn't even touched. How does that work?? They promise you they are there to help you with your new purchased item then not follow through. I was told I could bring it in once a year for six years for a thorough cleaning for free. Then I reach out eleven months later to schedule a cleaning only to be told it will cost me because it wasn't put in writing. Be aware! FYI people. Me and my wife purchased a high end fifth wheel camper at this location. Sales guy was great, finance guy was great, but as soon as you sign the papers everything stopped. Orientation of the new unit was terrible, the employee knew nothing of the unit, they could not deliver that orientation on time either. I bought the unit at this location so they would service it, honer the extended warranty that i purchased etc. I called for service and was told they are no longer taking service appointments, So i bought the camper there and now no service. When they performed service work under warranty they returned my unit with no power cord. I have complained to the corporate office, i got an email, but no resolution. I received a call from someone that i called back from this location and "Jerry" whoever that is does not seem to be bothered to call me back. Two calls and nothing returned. Bottom line, do not ever buy a camper here your experience will be much less than pleasent. read more

The sales person asked our budget and when we said $20,000 he told us to go try someplace else, pointed out back and said go look around if you want and went inside. At one time there were 4 techs working on error codes for my air conditioner and refrigerator. Ricks expertise got me on the road with a temp fix that lasted the duration of my trip. We purchased a 2021 Thor Motor Coach in May 2021. Lots of issues. Hard time getting appointments with service center. They didn't complete reports to manufacturers to log the problem. Was sent to 2 Mercedes shops that also can not fix the issue. Also did not report to manufacturers or warranty. Now out of warranty and still unsafe tires. No one returns calls left for owner or service center. Tire was very low after it spent weeks there. Asked if they could put air in it for the drive home, they told me where the nearest gas station was. They did not mention that there are no authorized service centers for Thor in NE. It also seems that they don't make this model anymore. Very expensive lawn ornament that we have to put air in the tire evey day. read more
