But I had paid with a credit card. After I'd left this store.I told my friend what I paid for the tires and he was very surprised because he had never paid that much money for tires there before. And I assumed that probably they overcharged me and charged me maybe ring me in for 5 tires, instead of the 4 that I purchased. I called down there and tried to explain what I thought had happened and that I had been overcharged, and that I didn't have a receipt, because I was not offered one at all. The person on the phone was extremely rude to me. I asked to speak with a manager, but they just put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back again, same thing happened. I asked to speak to someone else, put me on, hold, hung up on me so then I decided to go down there, talk to somebody in person when I got there, of course, they knew who I was. Probably the only female that had been there that morning. They ran back into the office notified my arrival, but then completely ignored me.\n Finally, an employee came out to talk to me. And\n Told me that, since I had bought 4 tires. It was more expensive because it was a full set. Which is odd because it's actually the direct opposite. It's less expensive when you buy off 4\n He asked if my tires had an orange line on them, which made them a set and no, they did not 3 of the 4 had an orange line but they did not all have line painted on them. They refuse to give me a receipt. They would not look up my order by the receipt number. They one hundred percent know I only bought four tires , and they charge me the price of 5. If you're a woman, don't ever go here because they will 100% rip you off, they are a bunch of crooks.

Somehow the gal acting as manager showed me a picture that she says shows it was torn but what it actually shows torn is the seat console lid that is up. After spending thousands over the years at this junkyard, looks like they obviously don't care about customers in the way they treat them. By her telling me that it was already torn then also insinuates that her two employees that walk me out to the lot don't know what they're talking about either. I find it hard to believe that three of us two of which were their employees would look at a seat in all the determinants in good condition and now all of a sudden it's not and it's my fault.

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a discriminatory…read moreexperience I encountered during the attempted purchase of a 2021 Hyundai Elantra SE from Cardinal Buick. On the morning of April 22nd, I contacted the dealership to confirm that the vehicle was still available and was informed that it was. I then began working with a representative named Brandon, to whom I submitted a finance application to verify my pre-approval with my bank. At 12:02 PM, I received a consent form outlining the agreed-upon terms: $500 down and $397 per month. I signed and returned the form at 12:12 PM. By 2:22 PM, I was informed that all necessary documents were complete and the next step was for me to visit the dealership to finalize the purchase. I confirmed I would arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 PM, but due to a last-minute Uber cancellation, I arrived at approximately 6:46 PM, after spending $62 on transportation. While en route, I received a phone call asking me to verbally confirm that I was still coming to complete the purchase, which I did. Upon my arrival, I was informed that the vehicle had been sold to another customer--a white family--who had arrived just 10 minutes before me. I was not contacted or given any indication that the vehicle might be sold to another party, despite having completed all required paperwork and even purchasing insurance for the vehicle in anticipation of taking it home that evening. This experience was not only extremely frustrating and embarrassing--especially as it occurred on my birthday--but it also raised serious concerns about the fairness and integrity of the transaction. I felt disregarded and discriminated against, and I am seeking a formal response and resolution to this matter.
