Now my trunk wont stay shut unless I slam it and practically lay on it. The body shop I took it to said they messed up the seal on my trunk when they was in there. Telling me its gonna be issues for me in the future. He could have easily done the work and made his money, but instead.......He cared! I trust this guy totally. He stands behind his work and has always given good advice! He gives you want you want, but he doesnt bullshit you! I recently purchased a commercial vehicle that came with an security system to be installed by another local custom audio shop. I asked could i transfer that to Xclusive? They said their contract was with the latter. I declined and payed for Xclusive to install the alarm. Thats where my trust has been for years.....

They claimed a lifetime warranty on their tint but still wanted a "security deposit" to replace it after arguing back and forth with me. A couple years later, I gave them the benefit of the doubt to help me with an audio issue. They charged me $105 for 35 minutes of "labor" and told me my subs were blown and that they needed to redo my whole sound system (Upwards of $600). I told them no thanks so they just threw my subs back in the backseat without rewiring them and also stripped a screw on my amp. I ended up finding the issue myself which was just a disconnection in the wiring under my carpet. Do not go here Unless you like wasting time and money.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Brandon/Top Notch...for multiple reasons. He…read moretinted my windows on my new car and not only did it take twice as long as he quoted me, but the job was done poorly in a few spots. The tint wasn't fit properly to the window so I had to take it back to get fixed, and again, it took over twice as long to do the work as I was told it would take. But that isn't even the worst of it....Brandon also apparently does various custom work to cars so I decided to have him black out my tail lights. He told me it would take him a little over an hour and he could do it when he fixed my tint. Four hours into the appointment I called him to see what was going on and why it was taking so long, at which time he told me the film they used "didn't look right" (defective apparently) so they took it off and he sent one of his guys into St. Louis to pick up some different film. Two hours later he calls me to tell me they can't do the job because all of the film is defective, but he'll order more and can do the job in a week. Six hours of my time, wasted. So I wait two weeks and never hear from him so I call him...repeatedly...he does not answer my calls OR call me back. I drive by his location fairly often so one day when I was driving by I saw him standing outside talking with a customer, so I pull into the parking lot and of course ask him why he's not returning my phone calls, and ask about the film. He proceeds to give me some runaround, saying that his phones have been down and he did not receive any of my messages. He also tells me that the film is back ordered and he should have it within the next week or so, at which time he tells me he will call me when it comes in and if I don't hear from him, to call him and he will finally get this job done. You can guess what happens next...I call, and call...and call and NO response. He completely ghosted me. To do this to me after wasting my time on multiple occasions is horribly unprofessional and, quite frankly, rude. I've literally waited over six months to write this review in the hopes that he would come around and follow through...but I guess those pesky phones are still down.
