Sleeping areas are broken down by rank/grade. Some are inside, while others are a mountain man experience. Cub World is part of the Dan Beard Council camps, and is only open to Scouts BSA and their families. Staff is mostly older Scouts who are somewhat overseen by adults. This results in some inconsistencies. Some staff seem more committed to the program than others. As it is, adults (parents and leaders) help run things once the camp staff gives instructions. Range staff is always well trained, and commited to safety. Along with the range there is also a lake for fishing, (they supply the gear,) a pool, and covered outdoor dining hall. Shower houses and bathrooms are cleaned by those camping there, a.k.a. Scouts and their families. It is clear that sometimes the assigned group "forgets." Being part of the Dan Beard Council, the property is used for various other purposes and camp-o-rees throughout the year. This includes the Halloween tradition Spook-o-ree. A Halloween event that is open to both the public and Scouts for a nominal fee.

It sounds like a wonderful idea for older kids that can handle all heights, twists and turns. But for the younger kids, it's stressful. Why? Because what toddler doesn't want to climb 15 feet high on the smallest width ladder at the playground? Yes, there's smaller gyms for the toddlers up front but I always see the young ones running for the huge gym which just stresses me out. I'd honestly skip this park if you're with your 1-4 year old. For older kids, this looks like the real deal. It's clean, there's a big covered picnic area, swings galore. I believe you do have to pay sometimes but I really don't know. Each time I've been, the gate has been open and we walked right in. Other times, I believe they close the gate and you have to pay at the building. Highly recommend calling ahead of time or looking online. Clean, safe, fun overall!

And if the fear they all showed when the phone would ring was any indication of what type of boss he is, of course they won't interrupt him to tell him they're with a customer. He called almost every time we were in the building, I'm sure he wants to make sure things are running smoothly, but dang the whole place freezes in fear when the phone rings. On another note you all should do cabins and expand a bit. Take a look at Waco Surf in Waco. We've stayed in their cabin and it was a lot of fun.

The $25 was all inclusive of life jackets, cable ticket, board, and helmet. There are plenty of obstacles and trick equipment in the wake oval for you to try if you're up for it. I didn't fall off at all, but if you do, a potentially long walk awaits you to get back to the launch station. NOTE: Beginners should have good core and upper body strength. Some friends had trouble staying on the tow line due to the speed and jerky turns. I lift weights daily and do advanced hot yoga which really helped. You will get tired and need to take breaks too, they have a nice patio area for that. All in all, I'll be back and up for trying full wakeboarding next time. It's a cheap, fun (if you can stay up/hang on), and unique experience!

We've come a few times and every single time there's either nobody at all or just a few folks. If you're looking for a quiet space to picnic or sit in the woods, this is a gem! It's especially nice for kiddos 3yo+ because they don't have to play survival of the fittest with a bunch of other kids on the playground.

I wanted to take advantage right away, but all the time slots for Cincinnati Nature Center were booked, so I decided to book a time slot at Long Branch Farms and Trails. I hadn't received my access card in the mail yet, but someone at the gate was able to let us in. All of the Trails are pretty short (the longest being about 1.5 miles).
