And the worst part, the temperature stayed at 83 degrees. The assistant left no number to call in an emergency and the person when handled the reservation did not respond to phone calls or texts. Her explanation was that she was out of the country but amazingly the assistant called her when she returned to do the closing walk-thru and she answered the call on the first ring.

In order to reserve the date, time, and venue rental a $600 deposit was required. The remaining balance/payment was due 5 days before our scheduled event date which was $1737.50. Complete cost we paid $2337.50. Renting the Venue - Barn, Audio System, Tables and Chairs, Tablecloths, full kitchen, 2 restrooms inside, swimming pool, outside bar area, outside smoking area, catering service, dinner clear plastic plates, clear plastic cake plates, clear plastic cups, napkins, clear plastic forks/knifes/spoons, and three clear plastic 5x7x2 to-go container. My friends and family helped take down the decorations, sweep the floors, turn off the music, turn off the lights, and pull the trash cans to the front to be taken outside. We had fewer than 40 people attend the event. A few issues I had during the event. The food was not warm at all. (close to room temperature) The drink station was to be unlimited refills, but once the plastic serving jug was empty it never was refilled. The sweet tea had a sour taste. Lemonade was very sweet. The amount of leftover food there was, and that I paid extra for catering, but was only allowed to pack up 3 small clear plastic to-go containers. I find was not reasonable. The rice wasn't fully cooked, and was not flavored/seasoned. We expected SPANISH rice, and that isn't what we were served. Thank you for allowing us to book our event at The Texas Hall Venue, but if I may be honest, I wouldn't recommend friends and family to use this venue, and I know my husband and I won't be booking any future events because of the experience.

Despite not living nearby or being able to use the club, they required 60 days' notice and continued charging full dues for two additional months. No flexibility. No prorating. No understanding. When I spoke with Rachel King about it, she was dismissive and simply repeated the policy over and over instead of addressing the issue or showing any willingness to work with me. It felt intentionally rigid and callous. If you're considering joining, just be aware that leaving may not be handled with the same hospitality they show when signing you up.

The even made a greenery wall just in time for our shower so we had a lovely backdrop for photos and for opening gifts. When you first see the site, you think it looks just like someone's home with a large parking lot, but once you step inside you are welcomed with lovely layout indoors and a spectacular patio outdoors. I absolutely love live music and regularly attend shows at venues across the country. I've…read moreexperienced outstanding performances in spaces of all sizes, and it's genuinely a joy to have a venue like this in the Cedar Park area. That said, the volume here is simply too loud. The acoustic design of the building seems to trap and amplify extremely high decibel levels, making the sound piercing rather than enjoyable. I made a real effort to find a spot where I could clearly hear the music without discomfort, but the only tolerable area was inside. The bands, stage setup, lighting, and seating arrangements are all excellent. The talent on stage deserves to be fully enjoyed. Unfortunately, the excessive volume makes it difficult to dance, relax, or appreciate the music--especially given the relatively small size of the venue. At times, the sound level feels more appropriate for a massive outdoor amphitheater than a space like this. The speaker towers themselves appear to be positioned fine; the issue seems to be overall volume and acoustics rather than equipment placement. I strongly encourage the venue to conduct a thorough review of the acoustics and sound levels. With some adjustment, this could be an outstanding live music experience.
