My two reply texts inquiring as to which property he was messaging me about went unanswered. Then when I requested a secure email communication, in lieu of texting, I was told that I don't know how to follow the instructions given to me via text and that he would need that to know who I am. If you don't know who I am why are you messaging me...? Completely unprofessional and frankly quite rude. Scam or not, this is not someone I feel comfortable doing business with. Update: before I was evan able to hit [post] I have been called twice and yelled at by this unprofessional individual. VERY bad bussiness practices. When I say I prefer email communications over unsecured text messages and then you call and yell at me TWICE, don't expect my patronage. Update II: Now I have reveived a yelp message threatening to post our text conversation (which I have already attached) if I do not remove this review. Professionalism is lacking at this establishment. Update III: Now, because I insisted on finding out exactly who I was speeking to (after his refusal to answer direct questions) before offering up any of my personal information, he is claiming I am a drug user. I reiterate the completly unprofessional manner in which he conducts business. Update IV: Now the owner is attempting to pressure me to take down my review of our interaction. I can not stress any more how disrecpectful, condescending and unprofessional this man is. If he was this inconsiderate to a prospective tenant I can not imagine how he may respond to issues, if any, during a tenancy. I do not recommend anyone go any further in the application process than I unfortunatly had, with only my initial inquiry.

Marta did a wonderful job staging my home in Stow, MA before listing it for sale! I also had…read moreestimates from two other companies that were referred through Angie's List, one was slightly more expensive, the other was less, but didn't include the master bedroom. I trusted Marta's ideas on how to stage the rooms, including keeping the living room as a living room, not as a second home office as one of the other stagers recommended. She also gave me tips on curb appeal and staging the deck, porch and bathrooms myself. My realtor reported many compliments on the staging during open houses and showings, and some asked for the staging company's name/contact information. Rick came to my home for the initial appointment, then returned with Marta for a second appointment the week before staging day. On staging day, Rick, Marta and a crew arrived with 2 trucks and asked us to vacate the home for several hours. We returned to a fully furnished home, including artwork and accessories. (I did need to dust some) The only mishap was one piece of artwork fell off the wall a couple weeks later. I texted Rick that night (he seems to prefer texting versus phone calls) and a new piece of artwork arrived first thing the next morning! I really believe their staging was a great value and helped my home sell quicker.

The staff, particulary Rick, worked hard to help me out, and I appreciate the efforts they made to make sure my POD was packed correctly. I did not like how they spoke Spanish about the work, in my home and in my presence. The company did get the staging done on time and the house looks good, but they fell down hard with the followings: 1. The interior designer was brusque to the point of rude on several occasions 2. The designer made personal remarks about me to my household staff 3. The designer tried to get my household staff to do work that IS was contracted for 4. Some of the rooms that were listed on the contract for staging were not touched. Specifically the designer wanted to represent an area I use for kitchen storage as a mud room. I went to a lot of effort to remove all the kitchen related items and store them elsewhere, but in the end, no mud room was created. Some big heavy items they said they would move, were not moved and I had to move them myself 5. The company doubled billed my credit card and made no effort to correct this until Citibank called them on it

His negotiating skills were an asset. I had heard horror stories from friends about the many offers on the many houses they had submitted before they finally were accepted. Or the crazy seller's request that they had to accept just to be in the running for the property. I was astonished that I wasn't in a crazy bidding war and didn't have to waive any inspections or take the property "as is" just to get into contract. There was some back and forth, but for the most part everything moved quickly and easily. Not being from New England there were so many things about the properties that I was unfamiliar with, including heating systems, septic tanks and dealing with snow. Working with Mark I learned about the many things one must take into consideration when moving to a 4 season climate. It did take me a bit to find the right house, but Mark continued to work with me until I found one that I was really happy with. I would highly recommend Mark and his team if you are looking to buy a house in New Hampshire!

There were even a few surprise gifts waiting for us at our new home! Mark is detailed oriented and responsive. He hires fellow Porcupines, refers them for jobs, and on top of everything, he supports Porcupine ventures and the FSP through donations and his time.
