Over a dozen athletic girls climbed obstacles, jumped on trampolines, and had smiles on their faces for over two hours. Every kid participated, and every kid had fun. There were 3 instructors assigned and all were very attentive and enjoyed demonstrating the different stations. It was also fun to watch the instructors perform their daredevil flips and tricks as they demonstrated the stations. There is a party room that was big enough to accommodate all of the kids and they were able to have pizza delivered for us--nice so that we didn't have to do it ourselves. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking to have a fun, active party for their child.

I worked here for 4 summers out of convenience, and it was one of the most hostile environments I have never been in. If you went to Camp Sewataro growing up, great, they will welcome you with open arms and you will fit in. If you did not, you will be isolated, shut out by fellow employees, and not be able to participate in events that the camp runs but chooses strictly campers-turned-employees for. If you are a college graduate, teacher, childcare professional, etc, you will still be getting supervised by an unqualified college kid, just because they grew up at camp. Pay is also terrible. I was making $11 an hour while having a Master's degree in education. There are hundreds of other camps in the area, don't work here.

We addressed firmly the matter with the responsible counselor and called the camp manager. Instead of taking responsibility both of them fully ignored the matter and instead blamed my husband for being 'aggressive' (when he was being firm they cant say they are handling the situation well when our kid is bullied for 3 full days and is coming back in tears). Instead of taking control and taking responsibility, they found it easier to punish us as parents and our innocent kids (yes, we have a second older son not at all part of this who was enrolled) by providing a refund without any discussion.

It had come highly recommended by some parents of precious students, but I also wanted to be sure it would be a safe place for him to be now with Covid-19 procedures in place. Dr Fernandez is very open and clear about their protocols and what is expected from the children as far as contact between kids, mask wearing, and hygiene, which was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable sending my son. They also have a large outdoor space where they spend a significant amount of time in the summer months. My son absolutely loved his time there and always had something fun to tell me about when I picked him up. He enjoyed the weekly themes and the crafts and activities that go along with each week's theme. My son had clearly made a genuine connection with many of the staff and other kids there in just three short weeks, which I believe reflects greatly on the caring nature of the staff and nurturing atmosphere that they create.
