Later that afternoon I saw a much larger white dog humping him while trainer was nearby, and she absolutely did not do anything.. I called right away and told them to get the dog off of my dog. Unfortunately, I was at the doctor office and I couldn't go pick him up right away. An hour later I watched from the web camera, and I saw same dog is pushing my dog in the corner and humping him and three other dogs are watching and the trainer is there and doing absolutely nothing. Immediately I went and pulled my dog out of the place and when I complained, they said that's how they play.... "WHEN A DOG IS SHY, THATS HOW THEY BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE!!" Also, they charged me that same morning $90 which is supposed to be for full month, three times a week, and they did not refund me. Please be careful with your dog specially small breed. When one our dogs had cancer and was on chemo she had to be separated from other dogs but the staff made sure she had extra cuddles and walks not to mention giving her the meds. I love that she is outside most of the day, being able to run around in the grass. Not sure in an indoor pen or on turf. The staff are all super friendly and you can tell they all really love the animals in their care. Would highly recommend!

Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I live far from Cinco Ranchi but my kitty had a recurring UTI and we couldn't wait until Monday. La centerra is kind of a nightmare for parking but after a while we parked on the 3rd floor of the garage. Once we got in the clinic, I was amazed: it was super clean, smelled amazing, the floors were spotless, and there was a sitting area for clients and a free treat bar for the pets. There were also free waters, espressos, and Lacroix for the humans. We were offered them while we waited. I checked out the restroom; also super clean and very nice. The vet tech was so nice and explained everything; they give you an estimate upfront so you're not surprised at the end and nothing is mandatory. I told her I was on a budget and they helped us make choices. The vet was very nice and informative and helped us and our cat a lot. We loved our experience so much. As you leave, since it was our first time, they gave our cat a goodie bag full of cute stuff & us a 50$ credit on chewy.com. If you're looking for a new vet or just want to give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Its location is smart because most dog lovers also love the dog friendly restaurants at La Centerra. And next door to Trader Joe's and the available parking makes the spot even better. You walk in and find a comfortable lobby, with free coffee and pet treats. There are semi private booths with holders for leashes. The staff was professional and the prices about what I pay every where.

I am so happy to have found Camp Bow Wow! I figured I'd share a few tips from my experience with boarding: -Call a few days ahead and schedule your initial interview for your dog. Make sure that they are neutered and have received a bordetella shot within the last 6 months (if more than 6 months, you will have to get booster) -You will need to leave your dog there for at least 3 hours for their initial interview. When you drop your pup off, I suggest you ask for a tour. The staff is more than accommodating, and you will be amazed with how clean and organized the facility is. I was amazed at the attention to detail the staff exhibited. When I picked up Von from his initial interview, he was EXHAUSTED! You could just tell that he had an awesome time. -Feel free to bring anything you'd like to leave with your dog while you are away. We left a bed blanket, toys, food and water bowl, food, and any medicine he may need. The staff will log all items and keep them in your dogs own tub which corresponds to his 'cabin' number. -The dogs will play for most of the day between breakfast and dinner. If your dog is a house dog like mine (i.e. sleeps all day normally), you may want to schedule a few hours of 'nap time' for him during the day. We did and I think this was a great idea! For dogs not used to running around all day, it may exhaust them to be so active all day. -They also do grooming, so you can ask for your dog to be washed/nails trimmed before you pick them up. They also do training, but we haven't quite got to that point yet... -You can check in on your dog via the website or mobile app. It gives you peace of mind knowing that you can check in at any time (when they are in the play yard). Unfortunately you can't view their cabin unless you upgrade to a luxury cabin (yes, those exist). To summarize, Camp Bow Wow has IT figured out! They are organized, friendly, and caring. Their attention to detail is so impressive. They will accommodate nearly any requests that you have. Look no further if you need to board your little buddy. You won't be disappointed! read more

...I had a VERY horrible experience with a previous groomer. It actually brings me to tears in angry to this day. So you can imagine my hesitation when I had to put my baby in another boarding locations. I decided to take the chance and came across Camp Bow Wow here in Katy, Texas. I have to say from the initial phone call, to actually coming through the front door had my mind very at eased that my baby would be safe here. Jasmine was such a great hostess and she could definitely tell I was unsettled with the situation. She literally held my hand as my baby went through the initial process of getting acquainted with the facility. I was able to watch her on the cameras and see that she immediately took to the other dogs and was having so much fun. When I picked her up from day camp, I was shocked to receive a photo certificate of her first day. WOW!!! So when it came time for me to actually leave her overnight, Jasmine gave me her cell phone number just to ease my mind because I couldn't stop crying. Who does that??? Camp Bow Wow Katy does. It's not too big and it's not to small. This way everyone gets the love they need. Clean and sanitized play and sleep areas. This place is so awesome and I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends and even people I may not know. I love the staff. I love how they love their campers (because they're not called pets), and I especially love the fact that I can click on the app and watch my baby in action. I adopted my dog, Beau, this past January from a rescue. Knowing he was a big social butterfly, I knew I needed to find a great, affordable daycare for him to play at while I worked during the week. I found Camp Bow Wow, 1 mile from my office, to be the answer! The whole staff is wonderful, and are always happy to see Beau, and Beau is aways excited to go to camp! He attends daycare about 3 days a week, and I love to check in on him through their webcams. All the dogs seem to be happy and enjoy romping around with one another. It's also very convenient to ask for a bath, nail trim, training, ect while he is there for the day, without having to have a prior appointment or be on a wait list like many other places. I know that this environment isn't for all dogs- my old anti-social Beagle would of hated it. The initial interview tests your dogs personality to ensure you dog is a good fit at camp. I've used Camp Bow Wow previously in New Orleans and was excited when this location opened. This is a great place to take your dog! My dog, Cudi, has a lot of energy but was exhausted from all the play time he had. There is plenty of room for the dogs to play, both indoors and outdoors, and the cabins for boarding are very spacious. Jose`, the owner of this location, and the rest of his staff are very friendly and take the time to know each dog. They are all about making sure every pet has a good time during their stay. The value at Camp Bow Wow is great! Unlike majority of other boarding locations where you have to pick-up your dog before noon or get charged for an additional day, at Camp Bow Wow, you can pick your pet up at any time before closing. This is also great because you can drop your pet off early one morning and pick them up late the next day, basically getting 2 full days of camp for the price of one night. I like the personalized attention the counselors give to my pets, and the friendliness of the staff. It is also within walking distance from my house, which is awesome! The ONLY reason I don't bring my dogs more often is because I'd like their clientele of teacup dogs to increase, so that mine have more "campers" to socialize and play with :) I LOVE this place, though, and I love being able to watch them while there! I don't think any other doggy daycare facilities have this capability. You can watch your dogs using an app on your phone, and see what fun they're having and also see how well they are supervised and treated by the "camp counselors"!! I was looking for a boarding facility for our puppy RJ(7 months), since we will be going on vacation. I decided to ask people at the dog park, where we regularly go. One lady, highly recommended Camp Bow Wow. We booked the interview, so they could access our dog. All dogs are required to stay 3 hours to see how they interact. He loved the place and we loved the fact we could monitor him via webcam. He is a very energetic dog, and he will be able to stay and play with other dogs for the majority of the day, while we are gone. We have dropped him off a couple of times for day camp, so he is used to the facility. He always has fun and comes home exhausted, which says a lot, because he has non stop energy. read more

We interviewed several places in Katy for doggy daycare and training. We were impressed by the friendly staff and clean, safe environment offered at Camp Bow Wow Katy. Our dogs can run freely between the outdoor and indoor climate-controlled spaces while supervised by friendly camp counsellors. We love the ability to watch our dogs on the webcams. Just picked my Fat Allie up from her boarding stay while I was away! I now know how all my pet parents feel when they drop their fur babies off with me when they're away! Our dog and us really enjoy the Katy Camp Bow Wow. We have used other Camp Bow Wow's in Arizona while on vacation, but the facilities are not as clean as this facility. The owner is from the medical field, which comes in handy when our dog stays overnight and needs her medications. The General Manager and counselors are like extended family and have the best customer service. They talk with us and treat us well each day we bring our dog in for camp. We would recommend this place to anyone and will continue to go there for a very long time. read more

Great service and amazing people. We have been taking our dog to the dog daycare and done boarding with no issues. The staff are all very caring and kind. In particular, Laura is simply amazing. She always remembers our name and tells us something fun about our dog's day. What is also great is that you can see your pooch at any time with the cameras. I love taking my dog here. I have a fussy chihuahua dachshund mix who can be a bit bossy. Going to daycamp definitely helps him to calm down and to be a member of a group. I was nervous about taking him there because of bad experiences at other boarding places. I felt totally at ease with Camp Bow Wow. They are caring, wonderful people and my dog feels at home there. Whether it is boarding or day care that you need for your dog, this is a great place. The dogs are watched at all times for their safety which is very important to me. I don't take my dog anywhere but Camp Bow Wow! They do it all here and the staff is amazing and very accommodating! My dog comes home exhausted after having a fun time at day care or for the weekend when boarded. The grooming services are great too, my dog comes home smelling clean and looking great! She is a team lead who acts as if she is a manager. She acts as a self appointed manager even though that isn't her role nor job. She does not know how to speak to people, she is very verbally aggressive and was constantly antagonizing me and other coworkers. One of the run ins that I had with her was, right before I quit I had gotten sick (due to frequent changes in weather), and was trying to call in because of that fact. She informed me that I had to have a doctor's note to be able to call out. The issue with that is that we only get paid $10/hr and doctor visits are very expensive. It doesn't make sense to have to provide a doctor's note for a call-out because of me being sick. Especially because before that timeframe, it was failed to be communicated with me that it is a requirement to provide a doctor's note for a call-out due to me being under the weather. Not to mention that for all the work that we do, $10/hr is not a livable wage especially in this economy. Valería is the reason that I quit working here at Canine Country Club. She made it a very hostile work environment and spoke to me and other coworkers poorly and in a disrespectful manner often with no repercussions. She has had multiple instances of snapping at employees, belittling them, gossiping to people that she's close with and walking away from people while a conversation is actively being had. It should also be known that she has been put on leave previously for the same exact behavior and was allowed to come back as if nothing happened. I didn't report her behavior towards me because, I was scared of possible retaliation and the fear of my situation not being taken seriously. With all that being said, I think that Valería Alvarez treats her job as if it's an obligation and not a privilege. She should not be able to continue to treat people this way with no repercussions. The fact that she was even allowed back in the first place AFTER the first time as if nothing happened is repulsive and disturbing.

Previously, i had worked…read morewith 2 other trainers so i wasn't sure if they would be able to help but after meeting with Oscar, i felt reassured that they knew how to handle my stubborn Pomeranian, Popcorn. Oscar immediately picked up that Popcorn was nervous which has been an issue I wasn't sure would improve. We decided on a board and train program and I loved that they worked with my needs. Yes, it was extremely hard to leave my dog for 3 weeks but big improvements require big changes. I have been thrilled to see him develop overall obedience and improved behavior. I can now take my dog to restaurants, la centera, and parks knowing that he will behave well. People even compliment his obedience. I would definitely recommend meeting with Oscar for any behavioral modifications or overall obedience. The staff is also kind and will work with your needs. The lobby is currently closed due to COVID-19 social distancing but a staff member is always aware when you arrive to greet you. If I have anything I would change, it would only be to enroll my dog sooner.

When I spoke to Andy on the phone to make arrangements he put me at ease and was very friendly and professional. When I arrived to drop of my dog Andy met us at the door. He told us about his experience with dogs, the treats that he prepares, and the playtime my dog would receive. My dog seemed to like Andy right away. When I picked up my dog, her tail was wagging and she seemed very happy. Andy brought her out and put her in the car for me. My dog never usually comes from a boarding stay in a cheerful mood, but she was cheerful. It must be the friendly staff and the casserole that Andy makes for the dogs. I think his daughter also makes homemade dog treats. I especially love the fact that they gave my dog an exit bath and cut his toenails before I picked her up. Thanks for taking care of my girl.

The appointment wasnt nearly as long and we are use to but we were getting her shaved for her summer do. The shave looked pretty good. But the face looked awesome. The beard was cut in a very nice shape. Her eyebrows were perfectly blended and we were able to see her eyes! We plan to go back and can't wait to see how the full schnauzer cut would turn out.

I have been a loyal Wag One customer since 2022 and always felt trust bringing Lexi there for…read moregrooming. The grooms were good rather than excellent, but what mattered most was her safety and wellbeing. Lexi is groomed monthly and regularly seen by a well-respected veterinary clinic. She was healthy with no joint issues aside from common small-dog allergies and anal gland maintenance. I booked Lexi for Wag One's new mobile grooming service, but after two reschedulings, her appointment was moved to August 15 at 11:00 a.m. On August 15, I dropped Lexi off as usual and handed her to Terrell. She was completely fine at drop-off. At pickup around 1:00 p.m., Terrell brought her outside. She appeared happy to see me, walked a few steps, and I placed her in her car seat. The moment I got home and set her down, I noticed she was limping. I checked her paws and saw redness. Upon closer inspection, I found a deep nick between her paw pads. She continued to limp. I immediately left a voicemail, then followed up with a text that evening when I received no response. On Monday, I took Lexi to her veterinarian and was told she now has a luxating patella. If it does not improve within a couple of weeks, she may require major surgery, potentially costing $6,000. Her vet also noted it was concerning given she had no prior history of this condition and had been completely fine before her grooming appointment. I then communicated with the owners, but their response felt defensive and dismissive. They suggested Lexi may have had a preexisting condition, which directly contradicts her veterinary history. The nick is on the same leg she is now limping on. Based on my conversation with her vet, a luxating patella can be caused by trauma, and I cannot help but wonder if something occurred during grooming when her leg may have been injured. I did not approach the situation accusing them of negligence, as I understand accidents can happen. However, their refusal to consider any possibility of injury was extremely upsetting. To dismiss my veterinarian's findings and question whether respected vets had ever examined her for this condition felt insulting. If during her paw trim she got nicked, she may have jerked in pain, causing a luxating patella. I have pictures of the nick, and her vet noted it at her checkup. So for the owners to deny anything happened is simply not true. Lexi has absolutely no history of a luxating patella or any joint issues. She is seen regularly by a reputable veterinary clinic. She was perfectly fine with no limp, cuts, or nicks before drop-off, and two hours later was suddenly limping with a nick on her left back paw and a luxating patella on the same leg. The owner kept repeating that Lexi walked out fine, but a dog can walk "fine" for a few feet and then have the knee socket pop out. They tried calling me, but I did not take the calls because I wanted to remain calm and have all the information before speaking to them. Had the response been one of concern or empathy, I would have been far more understanding. Instead, I was met with denial and a defensive attitude. After trusting Wag One with my dog since 2022, I am devastated that this situation occurred and that Lexi may now be facing major surgery following an appointment where she was supposed to be safely in their care. In addition, they reached out to my vet without my permission. The report from the vet was dismissed, with the owner questioning if, in the 5 years Lexi has been at this clinic, any of the vets ever checked her for this condition. Lexi has been seen by every vet at the clinic during those 5 years, depending on my schedule. I have spared no expense or care for my sweet dog, and now she has to endure pain, discomfort, and possible surgery. Unfortunately, the owners of Wag One are great as long as you don't question why your pet is not returned to you in the same condition and health as they were when dropped off. Ethically, they should have offered to handle Lexi's medical bills and potentially a $6k surgery. Instead, they dismissed her injury and claimed it was preexisting, although her medical history clearly states she has no preexisting condition and her grooms with them since 2022 also validate they never noted they saw her with a luxating patella.
