Yea Buckwheat made it through his interview

My dog looooves this place! I'm glad I found this one close to my home, reasonably priced, great counselors, a lot of dogs and fun. I had to search for a good Doggie Day camp I went to a few others and they did not make me feel as if they would care for my dog so I'm glad we found his new spot to make new friends!!! And he comes home knocked OUT which I love!!!

Happy faces after their time at Camp Bow Wow!

So happy that I chose this facility to take care of our dogs when we were on vacation. From the initial call where they explained everything thoroughly to the detailed assessment, they provided us with outstanding customer service. We have a 9 year old large breed and a new rescue puppy that had the best time at camp. I could watch them on video and see all the fun they were having. The staff were seen giving our pups tons of love and keeping all the dogs safe. There was plenty of water and room for all the dogs and no hesitation when it came to cleaning up messes that occurred. I never once had to worry about the safety or care given and I'm thankful we found the perfect place for our pups. Well worth the money and can't wait to bring them back for day camp, grooming or any other service needed. I give them 2 paws up!!

My pups (Ollie and Willow) absolutely love coming to Camp Bow Wow! I have been taking care of various projects around the house and this is such a great place to bring them. They have fun, they are very well cared for, and I don't have to feel guilty leaving them. Plus they come home happy and worn out! And it is so fun to check on them wrestling and playing chase during the day on the webcam. I definitely recommend CBW and we'll be back for camp (very!) soon!!

Could not be happier with my pup's Camp Bow Wow experience! This was my first time boarding him so I was definitely nervous, but everyone at Camp Bow Wow made me feel so comfortable leaving him there. He also was groomed while there the first day and I couldn't be happier with his new 'do. Any goldendoodle parents know it's tough finding a good groomer, but Jax looks so handsome! Nothing but good things to say about this place! Day care is included with boarding, and you can watch your pup online at any time of the day if you want to check in on them!

This is the best doggie daycare in the area! From the first day we walked in, you could tell they were so loving and caring to your fur babies! Bowie has been attending for 6-7 months now and everyone knows him by name! It's a comforting feeling that your dog isn't just "a dog" but part of the CBW family. Having the Camper Cams really sold me! I love getting to see how much fun he's having with his furiends!

What Camp Bow Wow did to my puppies!

I chose Camp Bow Wow because my friend said it was the best place to take your dog. Also her sister is a part owner of one in Louisiana, so I thought ok I'll check it out. We made an appointment for both our dogs Ralphie & Maggie. The passed their interview with flying colors and Robert was the one that help us through the whole thing. My fiancé at the time made an appointment for our dogs to stay there for 7 days while we were out of the country for our wedding. Robert was awesome, he answered all my questions and put me at ease. These are my babies, so I packed each of them a bag 3 blankets in each bag as well as some toys, and medicine if it should be needed I also left them with two notes to help them out when I came my puppies. Please understand my dogs have never been away from us for this amount of time. They go to dog park on a regular basis, but this is a little different. When I dropped them off I was greeted by Robert once again and took all their and assured me they were good. I left him 2 people he could contact if there were any issues or emergencies. Well I felt good at this point, that was short lived. My sister calls me to tell me my older dog Ralphie is being difficult & won't corporate. I told her to tell them to give him time, he is new to all this, which I'm sure they deal with all the time. After that we didn't hear anymore about it. When we retured we rushed to get there and we were met by this girl who I'd never seen before. She told us that she needed to tell us a few things about Ralphie. I'll be honest, I was tired and I really didn't want to hear this girl complain about a job she signed up for. She went on on... about how she felt. As this was going on a little extra formed behind us and I came unglued. I just want my dogs and their stuff! What do we owe you?! They went to go my little on Maggie and I took to the car. Then I asked where their blankets were and all the stuff I packed for them? They have them back to me smelling like urine and in some dirty bin. Then they went to get Ralphie and he was barking at them so my husband had to go get him. We take them home a notice tag that Maggie has these red rashes all over her tummy and privates. We call the camp the next day and Jasmine (same girl) tells us that she was bathed before we got there and no one said anything. I took her to the vet and the vet said it was an infection she had developed from laying in her urine for a long period of time. I lost it. How could they do this?! She is so sweet and they just left her because my other dog was difficult. My husband called Jasmine back and asked to speak to the owner and we got no where. She knew she had done wrong and I wanted justice for my puppy. I emailed him and received a response back rather quickly. My husband noticed that the owner and the GM Jasmine had the same last name. Oh great they are related so we will never get anywhere. He offer us free time at camp, but why would ever tryst you people with my babies again? Then he went one to excuses about my other dog which I didn't care for. You signed up to be in this business then deal with it. If this were a child this happend too they would be all.over the news, but they don't care. All he offered was a refund for the vet and apologize. What struck a nerve with me was he stated they did not neglect them oh really? Her rashes aka infection was not from one time! It was several times being left to soak in her urine. UNACCEPTABLE! I've already written the corporate office and I will write this review on every review site I can. I will post pictures all of error Facebook and Google. My puppies were neglected! It's not ok and I want justice.

The fact that this establishment is rated so low, and has multiple poor reviews, is baffling to me…read more This could not be further than my experience at Dogtopia of Katy. I don't have enough good things to say about this place and the employees there. Not to discount others' experience, but I'd like to offer my own experience and a different perspective. The website is very thorough in explaining and laying out what to expect. I feel they have been true to their word on everything advertised on their website. All the wonderful things they say they offer and provide, I feel has been my exact experience since touring and bringing my dog for a meet and greet. I'm so grateful to have found a business that takes such great care of my dog and provides socialization, fitness, obedience, and enrichment opportunities that she wouldn't have otherwise. I'm a first time dog owner that was very nervous and weary of trusting someone else with my beloved pet, to be honest. So I had a lot of questions and wanted to tour the facility ahead of time. Summer could not have been more thorough and kind during the tour and answered all of my questions. The meet and greet went well- they called me at lunch to assure me she was doing well. When I picked her up, they had a high quality picture of her from her first day, a brochure full of helpful information, and a "report card" giving me feedback about her first day there. I was impressed to say the least! Not only is it a great value, but a great opportunity for you to see if it is going to be a good fit for you and your dog. I enrolled her in a wellness plan pretty much immediately. No issues with billing. Once I got access to the webcam, which I can only watch when I have pockets of free time during the workday, it was very evident how much the employees care about the animals. They are very attentive. My German Shepherd plays in the "Gym Beach" room which allows her to play with other dogs her size and who have similar play styles. I feel the employees are experts at observing animal behavior and know when they are just playing or a situation is escalating that they need to break up. Anytime they notice a potential issue, they address it immediately (even if they are on the other side of the room or multitasking!). My dog spends the majority of the time in open play, running around. When she is crated, it is for good reason. I'm glad that they correct her when appropriate to help me reinforce the boundaries I try to implement at home. I feel it's always for her well being, or the well being of others, and I trust their judgement. My dog is also a tripod, and I by no means expect special treatment or accommodations, but I was so relieved that all of the activities they offer are very inclusive and that she can participate just like everyone else. She waits by the door eagerly every morning she knows it's a "Dogtopia day", and I look forward to days she has daycare too! I feel such peace knowing she's being so well looked after and she is having such a blast in the process! She has made so many friends and could not be happier. They have far exceeded my expectations, and I can't recommend them enough.

Later that afternoon I saw a much larger white dog humping him while trainer was nearby, and she absolutely did not do anything.. I called right away and told them to get the dog off of my dog. Unfortunately, I was at the doctor office and I couldn't go pick him up right away. An hour later I watched from the web camera, and I saw same dog is pushing my dog in the corner and humping him and three other dogs are watching and the trainer is there and doing absolutely nothing. Immediately I went and pulled my dog out of the place and when I complained, they said that's how they play.... "WHEN A DOG IS SHY, THATS HOW THEY BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE!!" Also, they charged me that same morning $90 which is supposed to be for full month, three times a week, and they did not refund me. Please be careful with your dog specially small breed. Work was picking up and family appointments got us rather busy and it wasn't acceptable to leave our pup at home alone and bored. We knew that without proper mental stimulation and play that he would grow bored and start learning new, destructive "games" and behavior to entertain himself. We have used CLR many times of the years for our other pets (now deceased or living with a daughter) and we were always satisfied but hadn't ever utilized a doggie day care. So we started taking Angus to Doggie Day care for 2 days a week and a sleep over and he comes home SO BALANCED. I actually had to look at his adoption paperwork again because I could have sworn that he was coming up on a year. He was 8 months old and started acting like a 3 yr old dog! AWESOME!!! He is still very much a puppy, but because he is interacting with his older Lab buddies there he is like the little kid who got to hang out with the grownups! They have rubbed off on him socially and he cannot wait to load up in the car/truck cab to go to CLR!! When he sees me packing his overnight bag the night before, he starts getting excited. He KNOWS exactly where he is going he ADORES CLR and the staff there. This has completely been the best decision I have made for him and I am able to use this time as a mommy's day out and get things done for work all while he is being entertained and having a great time. When we pick him up at the end of the 2-day stay, he is so worn out from healthy play that he has a calmness in his demeanor and he will sleep most of the next day. Mentally, there is nothing I could have done better for our sweet baby boy and he shows us all of the time -- just the sweetest boy. I cannot recommend Circle Lake Ranch enough -- especially for all of these larger pups living in suburbia. They get supervised play in a SAFE environment where you know ALL pets are vetted and healthy. You cannot get that in a doggie park, folks. And you don't know if those at the dog park allow negative behavior at home or don't properly vet their pets. HUGE bonus here. THANK YOU to the STAFF at CLR!

I don't even want to know what has happened to my dog. Stay away from here!! The entrance and their sign says it all!!! This is uncalled for, and they are irresponsible!!!! How dare they charge?!!

Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.
