Camp Bow is the best place to bring your furry camper! The staff truly cares about your dog and is ready to help and assist you for daycare, boarding or grooming services. The facilities are immaculately clean, and all of the campers can be seen on live cameras while they visit. Our Walter loved daycare and his exit bath! Enjoy the wonderful experience with attentive staff and happy dogs at Camp Bow Wow!

The staff does a great job of taking pictures of and interacting with the dogs! This is a photo of my dog that I got on his first day.

I have a very clingy dog who loves to be around any sort of person. I decided to check out Camp Bow Wow after a relative out of state mentioned that her dogs love it and a desire to get my dog to interact with other dogs. I love that they have a "Tea Cup" room especially for small dogs and all of their rooms seem to have outside access as well! The cameras are always up and running and the quality is great! The staff is always extremely pleasant and I often see them interacting with my dog (which I know he loves!) Camp Bow Wow has been a great opportunity for my dog to socialize with other dogs and after about the second or third visit he really seemed at home. I also really love the packet they send home after the first day and the pictures on Facebook! They give me a quick update when I pick up my dog so it's always great to see who is friends are! Thanks, Camp Bow Wow!

I feel like my dog got some personal attention and was happy. I liked that I could check in on him via the web cam

I stopped by without my dog just to talk with Shirley about the situation, and she willingly offered to have me bring him in a couple of times just to meet her and become familiar before even scheduling a grooming appointment. We did this twice, and it made ALL the difference. She also recommended a great harness for him when I wanted to switch out of a collar. It's the only place I've taken him since. For the past couple of years, I've been feeding Pierre from PetWants, a mixture of the chicken, lamb, and salmon recipes. He liked it better than the typical store-bought kinds, but I brought home a small amount of each of the 4 main Barketplace recipes tonight after talking with Shirley and Jeff about it, and he not only ate the first serving in a matter of minutes, but wanted more even AFTER his teeth cleaning "dessert" treat. That has NEVER happened. And then the second serving was gone just as quickly as the first. Shirley, Jeff, and Chris are simply the best - they take care of my little guy as if her were their own, and this new food experience means it's the only place I'll go for ALL the things he needs from now on!

I understand your son is upset about missing his appointment but it isn't appropriate to spam our business page with reviews. Apparently , you are not aware that it was my dog he was bringing in , not his. It was a new , first time appointment . That he had already sent the veterinary information in. He let you know that he had a work emergency and I would be coming from an hour and a half away to make this appointment. I encountered road construction that caused a delay . I had my grandchildren on a spring break outing that we left to make this appointment . The appointment was at 12 noon. I called at 11:55am to let you all know I was getting close. I was informed by your staff that the groomer was gone. My son was told that I had until 12:15pm. to make this appointment. He didn't think I would get there until 12:30. You. made no adjustments, after him being a loyal customer . Our appointment window was 12-3pm. A place with good customer service would have done some type of service in that window, even if you charged for the full service. A wash , nail trim maybe. Instead you chose to put him down as a no show , charging the full price. Does that seem right ? I normally don't do reviews. That's why it took me so long to respond. You have lost two good customers, with two sweet dogs just because you don't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE, means.

Update; This business owner is over -the-top, and not in a…read moregood way. His response perfectly demonstrates exactly what I described. *The lies *The excuses *The accusations Just as expected. I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

So thank you a ton for being good to him, he'll be back soon!!

When said Sheepdog needs more skilled care, Petey's offers an array of professional and caring grooming services. For $110 they sheer her like the oversized lamb that she is; if you wince at this price, please consider that at end of a long winter, the shag to cost ratio lands squarely in my favor. Caveat: Call well in advance to book grooming services, e.g., book at Halloween for a clean, Christmas canine. The shop also has a well curated selection of pet supplies--food, treats, collars, leashes, etc. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and patient with my shaggy and somewhat ill-behaved beast.
