You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

A perfectly flaky and buttery crust, and a not too sweet velvety smooth custard. The staff was friendly. A casual cafe where you pick your wanted baked goods from the cases. If you want to heat up your buns (which I highly recommend you do, especially with the savory buns), the staff will hand you a plate, and you heat it up in the microwave next to the napkins & utensils. There's a steady traffic of people going in and out. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. I got an iced honey lavender latte with oat milk and slice of the pistachio cardamom cake. The latte was ok but the cake was phenomenal. The latte had a decent flavor but it wasn't strong. Plus it tasted very grainy and milk-heavy, overpowering the coffee. My slice of cake was so moist and delicious without being too sweet. It was perfect. I'd definitely come back again more so for the desserts than the coffee. They have some indoor seating and a cozy table on the sidewalk just outside the front door.

The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. We ordered a shot of espresso and a jasmine tea. The espresso was strong and nice, but to our surprise the jasmine tea was literally a jasmine tea bag. We were expecting brewed tea and not just a tea bag especially for the price, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We also ordered the peach tart which was delicious! It had a decent peach flavor to it and the top part of the peach had an ice cream texture to it. Would recommend ordering one of their pastries! Service was decent. We received our orders quickly. There is plenty of seating near the cafe and throughout the hall. There is also parking in a big lot connected to the hall.

Mike is truly the face of Sugar Shane's, and honestly, he is the reason I even know about this place! If it weren't for seeing his videos on TikTok, I probably would have never discovered Sugar Shane's ...and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. His videos are always so exciting, welcoming, and encouraging that they make you want to come out and experience it for yourself. And today, I noticed something that really stood out to me: several of us showed up because of what we saw from Mike, and we were all complete strangers to one another! That says a LOT about the impact he has. His energy, personality, and hospitality make people feel welcomed before they even walk through the door. So, Mike, this shout-out is for YOU! It even has managed to impress friends who don't adventure too far outside of their own American culinary tastes. The sweets here are the perfect amount of sweet. I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by.
