I reached out to this baker on 12/17 to request a cake for January 3rd. Upon hearing the date they let me know they would be out of town and unable to deliver or bake the cake. I told her I understood and was about to hang up when she said "well I don't want to turn down my first cake order of the new year, I'll make it if you can come pick it up." I agreed. I gave my contact information and the type of cake I wanted. During this process she kept talking over me then asking me to repeat myself. (This should have been my first red flag). She told me an invoice would be sent the same day. A few hours passed and I called back just to ensure my invoice was emailed to the correct email. She rushed me off the phone saying she got it and that she had been busy. The next day I texted and call to let her know I still did not receive the invoice. To which she then replies that she typed my email in wrong. The level of customer service is piss poor. I have never had to do so much checking up on a business to ensure they are doing what they promised. I'm trying to pay you and you acting like this? Please save your time and your money. I got a better deal, service, and I'm certain a better cake from a baker in college park "Bakes by Drae". If you value your time and money go somewhere besides D's. D's bon appetit doesn't even care enough to get the client's information correct. If she didn't want to take the order she should have just said that- not waste my time and hers. read more

My wife and I visited D's bakery and was blown away with her down to earth hospitality. She treated us like some old school family members that was stopping by for a treat. Everything looked and smelled delicious so we had to pick numerous items. As we departed she shared some wholesome advice and a warm hug. We are Definitely going back. read more
