still our favorite be coming here over 10 years. Always fresh and they always look good enough not to eat. Grab and go case is the first stop and then head over for dessert. Service is 10 stars every time and a treat for any occasion. I will mix the egg salad and chicken salad together every time.

Love this bakery! The sandwiches don't disappoint and very filling. The service here is always outstanding! Everyone makes you feel welcomed when you walk in that door. Even after having lunch, it's hard to walk away without getting some pastries for later. There's so many to choose from! Will visit more often.

I came here as a part of a Yelp promotion so I feel bad to write a so-so review. I didn't like the petit fours, but people were buying tons of them so maybe it's me. The cheese sticks were delicious. My favorite thing was the "slice of heaven" which is just over the top and was eaten over several days so I don't go into a sugar coma. The restaurant also does sandwiches and salads and was packed on a Saturday morning. If I'm in the area, I'd stop for that cookie cake slice!

These cupcakes were soooo heavenly! We had them catered for a holiday company lunch, and everyone including me wouldn't stop raving about them! We got 7 different flavors, but I was only able to get the strawberry one which seemed like a crowd favorite! I absolutely loved how the icing was a softer and whipped cream cheese and the cake was so moist! It was definitely on the sweeter side, but I'd just take the frosting off and go with the cake if you don't enjoy super sweet things. When I was taking all the cupcakes out, I could feel how fresh each cupcake was. My coworker said the staff was super friendly and packed the cupcakes in trays inside some boxes and loaded into her car when she showed up. I can't wait to come by and order some of their cakes next!

I heard so many good things about this place and so glad got a chance to finally visit. I got strawberry cake and German chocolate cake for the party and they both were so good. Strawberry cake was my personal favorite since o love cream cheese frosting. I can't wait try their carrot cake and cheesecakes. Cakes are very reasonable priced. But they also have donuts, cupcakes and other sweet treats.

I was visiting a friend in the A and wanted to find a dope bakery to get her a cake for her birthday. This bakery is THE BEST!! We went for the birthday cake and stayed for the cookies, discount bakery items, and mini sandwiches... They have one layer cakes which was perfect since it was just the two of us and I wanted to get her a whole cake not just a slice. As you can see, we couldn't wait and we dove into the cake right there in the parking lot! I barely had a chance to get the candles in there so I could sing happy birthday...lol This will be my go to bakery whenever I'm in Atlanta. Everything we tried has been perfection!

I can't say enough good things about McIntyre's Bakery! I ordered a 12" three layered Carrot Cake for my wife's 60th birthday dinner with 14 of our friends at Henry's Louisiana Grill in Acworth and it was AWESOME! Everyone at the table raved on about how moist and delicious it was and wanted to know where I got it from. Even after everyone eating a slice, and giving everyone a slice to go, we still had a third of it to take home. Storing it in a Tupperware dish at home, I've been eating on it for 7 days now and it is just as moist and delicious as it was on her birthday. Oh and the price can't be beat! All the dinner guest were shocked when I told them how cheap it was! Highly recommend McIntyre's Bakery! I will definitely be back!

McEntyre's is my absolute favorite, local, hometown, bakery. My family has been coming to them since I was a little child. I've been bringing my adult kids to them since they were little children. The sandwiches and sides are fresh and delicious. The cake squares are worthy of a magical tea party in your favorite fairytale. The eclairs, my favorite, are top notch. I'm never disappointed with my goodies. It's clean and orderly. Everything is labeled and priced for easy viewing, and the staff is always warm and helpful. They just can't be beat!

McEntyre's was the go-to bakery back in the day. I haven't been there in more than a decade, but I wanted to surprise my daughter, who's visiting from NY. To my delight, their baked goods are as yummy as we remembered them to be. Their signature cake used to be orange chiffon. Now it's special order so we were out of luck. We used to love their peanut butter bars. Check! They have 'em and my guests gobbled them up. In lieu of the orange cake I chose lemon -- and boy, was that good. Moist, flavorful with a gooey filling -- is it lemon curd? -- and again, a hit with my company. The staff is very nice and I'm happy to report that they're serious about taking COVID precautions. Since I've been to the shop (which has moved since I was last there) they've expanded their menu with sandwiches, Brunswick stew and other non-bakery items. While they're a bit pricey, they sell day-old baked goods at a very reduced rate.

They put obnoxious religious repent-or-burn-in-hell cards in with orders, unbeknownst to the buyer. Gave a box of cookies as a gift and was MORTIFIED.

Hands down the best bakery I've been to in the area. Absolutely the BEST cinnamon rolls. If you're craving something sweet, they have everything from cookies, cakes, donuts, pies and more. 10/10 by far cinnamon rolls.

Nestled in the heart of Smyrna on Concord Road inside of a small shopping center sits McEntyre's Bakery. If you know Smyrna, then you know of this place. While they are mostly known for their baked goods such as cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc...some may find it surprising to find out that they have a solid selection of savory items as well. Parking - Not bad, enough spaces through out the small shopping plaza for you to pop in and out when needed. Decor - McEntyre's has remained the same since the beginning. When you walk in, you are transported back a few years and definitely know you are in a local little bakery from the china cabinets with packaged goodies with prices highlighted in written signs, to the old photos marking special occasions and special patrons hung on the wall all the way to the old school boom box playing soft music near the entry door. I will say they have tried to bring a few updated pieces in, but mostly it's kind of dated at this point. Interestingly enough the dated nature of things runs into their online presence as well. Their website is something to behold, they are all about the "if it aint broke, dont fix it" mantra for the shop and their site! Desserts - This is the real reason I came here! I have heard great things about their cakes, but unfortunately I was in a time crunch, so ended up going for a box of random treats for a birthday. Started with a few cookies, a mini cupcake and a cake square. Cookies were both chocolate chip and the cakes were both of the strawberry variety. Sadly, while the things looked pretty tasty, all four items tasted old and a little stale. The cookies were tough and the cakes were lackluster. It was a huge bummer. They had a decent variety of items in the cases, all of which looked good...maybe I just got a bad batch of a few things? Service - This was two fold for me, as the young gentleman that helped me with choosing my desserts and packaging them was less than enthused to be assisting me - his attitude was anything but "sweet". However, once I got my items and went to the register, the young lady there was all smiles with a friendly and warm attitude. As mentioned above, they also offer some savory items such as sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads. So, you can get a full lunch here and top it off with some dessert! You can order from the menu or you can pick up some of their pre-made and packaged items that are hanging out in the cooler. Most of the items I saw were pasta salads, soups, dips, etc... Overall, I was less impressed with McEntyre's than I thought I would be. I know I only had a select few items, but my overall experience was just "meh". Since I am a Smyrna local now, I will use McEntyre's in the future to keep supporting local and to see if all these reviews about those full cakes are true! For me, so far...it really is "ok".

It was very crowded, lots of events happening (birthdays and other celebrations). So I cut them some slack with the wait time. Waiter was not as attentive as he could've been. Our reservation is at 6 and we were seated by 6:08. Took a few minutes for our server to come greet us, we all started off with waters, but said that we will be ordering drinks and we have one more friend arriving in 10mins. Came back with the water and bread baskets and he disappeared again. Our friend arrives and finally got our server's attention to order appetizers. At this point, we were kind of annoyed and the birthday girl said to forget about the drinks. She flagged some other server down to refill our waters (still haven't seen our server come back after taking our appetizer order). Someone delivered our appetizer and we asked him to refill our waters again. At this point, we see our neighboring table's server more than we see ours. Birthday girl flagged someone else down for more waters and we just sat and waited. Finally was able to flag down someone, probably a manager that was walking around, told him that we haven't seen our server in a long time and we would like to order dinner. He said ok, walked away and came back and said that he will take our order. His demeanor / attitude was short and borderline rude (at least when he was talking to me) but so soft spoken and patient with my friend sitting across from me with her questions. Not sure if he felt some kind of way because I said and quote "We haven't seen our server in a while and we would really like to order dinner." Once we ordered... more waiting, then suddenly... our server popped up and was like "are you guys ready to order?" What??? do you guy who work together don't communicate with one another? We told him we already did and just just gave a nod and walked away. Took about 30-40mins before we got our food. Our server did stop by once during that wait to let us know that it'll be ready soon. My friend's first concern was... is out food going to be hot? Finally when we got our food she took a bite of her chicken and she said "it's just warm", the birthday girl's chicken was also just warm, my pasta was slightly undercook and also just warm. The last 2 entrees that's delivered to our other friends, the fried cauliflower... was hot. The veggie burger was hot but the whole thing fell apart when she picked it up. She also had to wait for her sweet potato fries, which was actually fresh. Then our server popped up to check on us, we went ahead and told him to put in our to-go order and asked for our check (not really sure how long it would take for him to come back if we let him leave... LOL). We all just kind of picked at our food, the quality of the food is just not there and we were really annoyed at the lack of service that we got. I ordered the Jambalaya pasta and the chocolate truffle tower to go for my husband and when I got home (30min drive) and open the food... It was dried, the pasta was undercooked, there was no flavor (not the jambalaya that my husband got when eating in). He took a bite and said it was the most disgusting thing ever. As bad as the food and the service is, at least they can still make a decent cake / cheesecake. Being home and taking a bit of that cake is the best thing of the night. Definitely not the cheesecake factory we know and remember. The birthday girl's dinner experience was ruined and she was really annoyed with the lack of service and the quality of the food as are the rest of the party.

Everyone was nice and welcoming, and the shop itself is adorable. It's very well put together, and I loved the way they have the display case set up. It's a cute little spot, and visually, it makes a great impression. Now, for me, where it fell short was the actual cookies. I felt like all of the ones we ordered tasted the same, which was really strange. When we went in, my mom ordered a Red Velvet and a Banana Moon Pie, and I got the Carrot Cake and Oatmeal Raisin. I'm someone who really enjoys cookies, and I'm a bit of a stickler about them--especially oatmeal raisin. I want to taste the oats. But this one didn't deliver. The base of it tasted more like a standard chocolate chip cookie dough, and while it had some raisins and cranberries, it just didn't give me that distinct oatmeal raisin flavor I was expecting. My mom ended up receiving a Chocolate Chip instead of her Red Velvet, which was disappointing because she was really looking forward to that one. She did enjoy the Banana Moon Pie and said it tasted just like an actual moon pie. I've never had one myself, so I couldn't speak to it, but she was happy with it. I also took a bite of her chocolate chip cookie, and it tasted exactly like my oatmeal raisin--same dough, same flavor. And that was the pattern. The Carrot Cake cookie, too, didn't stand out. It had a drizzle of icing on top, but beyond that, I couldn't taste anything that made it feel like a true carrot cake-inspired cookie. It just felt like the same base dough across all the flavors. I wouldn't personally go back, but I do recommend that people try it for themselves. Everyone's palate is different, and maybe it was just my batch. I'm genuinely curious to hear what others think. If you do try it, please let me know--did the cookies taste the same to you too? Again, the service was great, and the shop itself is beautiful. I wanted to love it because I love cookies, but this time, it just didn't meet the mark for me. Still, I think it's worth checking out for yourself and forming your own opinion.
