The service department at Cameron dodge has been the most stand up dealership service EVER received! Hands down. I wish I could say the same for the sales department. I was given a very low ball offer on a Jeep we were going to sell earlier this year. Had multiple offers way higher then them. But the service sept has been great. I bought a truck from them that started having problems. It has taken them months and several visits just to order parts and they have not correctly fixed anything even after having my truck for days. There are also scratches in my dash from them taking it apart and a rattle in the passside. My last visit they sent a loaner vehicle that had hair all over it and hay in the bed. They claimed it was a trade in and Paul the manager said he was ok with me being given a filthy truck to use and it was his call to give it tome. Do not work with this dealership!! They are awful and will try to screw you over. I bought a car here. 3 days after I bought it, the check engine light came on and oil leaked all over the driveway. I spent $1000.00 to have a car fixed that I owned for 3 days. Also, they gave me the wrong key fob for the car (the key inside the fob was for a different car) so I was unable to buy a second key. When I talked to the general manager about this (Paul) he said they won't do anything to make this right. I would have had to drive 90 minutes back to Cameron, TX and have them fix the car. Service: What service? There is NONE!! I drove 2 hours to on a Saturday afternoon to be told, the finance dept is closed...wth...how do they sell cars?? Well, Im the one that had to call back on Monday, only to be told, that they were swamped and my paperwork was on some desk somewhere....called back 5 hours later, only to be told that their computer systems were down, and they have been swamped all day long. Called back the next day, only to be told, they there is NOTHING that can be done for me! Call Today to talk to GManager, what Manager? The worst experience ever as far as being a good small town HONEST BUSINESS! Honest is the last thing I can say about this group. I own a Automotive business and had a customer ask that we tow there truck and do diagnostics to figure out the problem. We did so, and it had a hole in the motor. Customer wanted an estimate, so we did an estimate. After getting the info the customer asked that we let him think about it. Months later we find out that the owner had traded the title into this dealership. The dealership would never have the right person available to talk to. He NEVER called back once. My staff and myself have all tried calling about this, nobody would answer. Now the dealership has been avoiding us all together. They won't pay us, nor will they yield the title. Leaving us stuck with no resolution. Very poor quality service! :( read more

Purchased 2 minivans - 1 Chrysler - 1 Dodge in 2 years. The second minivan was said to have Bluetooth which it didn't (my wife discovered this 4 weeks after we bought it). Sales Manager was totally surprised, service said no it didn't and recommended an installation / sales company (Audio) in Temple at my expense. No more Dodge - No more Chrysler in this household. When the sales manager ran from it I knew the dealership wasn't interested in the customer experience after the sale. My husband called about one of their trucks listed online and asked if there where any problems what so ever with the truck. He specifically asked about engine knocks, oil leaks and if there was anything at all wrong with it, the guy said no. So we drive the HOUR AND A HALF there and the first thing the sales guys says is you know it won't go in reverse without cutting it off first right? Well no we didn't know that since we were told theres nothing wrong with it. So then we figured well we just drove an hr and a half up here we might as well check it out anyways. Once the hood was open first thing my husband looks for is oil leaking around the turbo and yup there sure was, second thing is listen for a knock in the engine, well you could hear that as soon you opened the hood. First off, I would like to say that the only reason I even gave them a star is because the site made me. I purchased a 2004 Nissan Frontier SC King Cab (67, xxx mi.) from Stanley-Lynd Autoplex almost a year ago. I drove three hours from Brownwood, Texas to Cameron to purchase the vehicle and fortunately, a Master Tech warranty was also available. I drove the truck back home and parked it under the carport. The next morning, I was driving to work, and as I went to shift into third gear, the truck decides it doesn't want to shift. No big deal, I bought the $1800 Master Tech extended warranty, right? According to the dealership, the warranty doesn't take effect until thirty days after the purchase date. Well surely the dealership will fix it since it hasn't even been a full twelve hours since I bought the truck, right? Once again, I was wrong. I took the truck to Bruner Auto Group (Chevy and Toyota) in Brownwood where they confirmed that the clutch had gone out. After several phone calls to the dealership, talking to seemingly every sales rep, service technician, department manager, and even the general manager, I was not only passed along to some other individual whom the prior had said "may be able to help," but I was treated with blatant disrespect; hung up on and cursed at by a few. My incessant phone calls eventually led to the dealership agreeing to pick the truck up and take it back to their shop free-of-charge, but the parts and service fees still came out of my pocket. Ever since they repaired the clutch, I've had trouble with the starter occasionally slipping, but until about two weeks ago it was no problem. Today, I called to make sure a new starter would be covered under my warranty, and, of course, they had no idea and recommended that I check with Master Tech. So I called Master Tech and spoke with a representative who told me that it should be covered. Out of curiosity, I also asked about the 'clutch dilemma' (he too found it to be utterly ridiculous.) The rep's response was very surprising. According to him, because the vehicle was purchased with a rather substantial amount of aftermarket performance parts and accessories, the vehicle falls under the "modified vehicle" category, thus should not be covered by the warranty at all. He suggested that perhaps the dealership refused to cover the vehicle because they knew they had sold me an invalid warranty policy. I started my experience with Cameron Autoplex via the website and started a chat session. She was polite and took my information and had some one call me back. I received a prompt phone call back from Corey and he was very courteous and listened to what I wanted an was not a "typical pushy salesman." He had me look at the website and see what I wanted and gave him a call back. He took over from there and handled everything over the phone and we had an agreement quickly. Financial part handled and I was a approved for my beautiful 2012 Dodge Challenger. I drove 261 miles to pick my car up and when I got there every thing was ready. The car was clean and detailed with a full tank of gas and everyone was very courteous and professional. I will recommend Cameron Autoplex to everyone I know and would definitely drive the distance again to purchase from them again!
