The absolute best and the quickest buying experience I have ever had. I have bought from many GM dealerships over the years, and I will tell you right now that Apple-Sport Chevrolet is by far the best of the best. My sales representative Jarrett was beyond awesome, all the way to Pat in Financing. Online approval took less than 30 minutes, and the deal was done in less than an hour from start to finish. As a senior citizen, disabled veteran, and female, I left this purchase experience feeling misled during the financing process. I arrived at Apple Sport Chevrolet fully intending to use my own financing through my credit union. Very early in the process, the sales department was quick to tell me that I could not use my own financing and that the dealership required customers to use their financing in order to purchase a vehicle. Shortly after that conversation, the finance manager came in strong behind them to reinforce that message, making it very clear that I would either have to use the dealership's financing or pay cash. The implication was essentially "finance with us or you cannot buy the vehicle." Let me be clear -- I am not naïve and I am not uninformed. I am a retired Colonel from the United States Army and currently a college professor at Baylor University. I fully understand how dealership financing works. Rather than waste additional time starting over at another dealership, I chose to proceed with the purchase and the dealership's financing knowing that I would immediately refinance the loan with my credit union, which I ultimately did. Unfortunately, it took nearly a full month dealing with the small credit union the dealership placed the loan with before I was finally able to refinance it this week. The tactics used in the finance office felt predatory and deceptive, and the coordinated messaging from both the sales staff and finance manager made it clear the goal was to force dealership financing so additional products and warranties could be added to increase profit. To be fair, the sales team themselves were otherwise very friendly, respectful, helpful, and low pressure during the vehicle selection process. However, when it came to financing, the experience changed completely. Apple Sport Chevrolet should be ashamed if this behavior is condoned by management. Customers deserve transparency and honesty, not pressure tactics. I will absolutely warn others about the financing practices at this dealership. read more

If you saw my post from yesterday (which was only posted for a hot second), you would have read that we had a little trouble getting the car that we had spent 1.5 days researching, financing, and working with the dealership. Likely, there was some miscommunication... But, wow, did the people at this dealership bend over backwards to make it right? Yes!!! Not only did they reach out to us (instead of us trying to follow up), they overnighted the paperwork for me to sign (I travel for work) and they drove 2.5 hours to deliver the car to my driveway. But the best part about working with Apple is they that they cared that I felt slighted. They did everything they could to clear up any misunderstanding. Unbelievable. This is my second experience with the service department at Apple Sport Chevrolet - Marlin and both times have exceeded my expectations. Ryan in the service department patiently walked me through the whole process and kept me informed about the repair on my 2015 Silverado. I was able to get my repair, inspection and oil service conveniently done in one place and I did not get pressure on any up sell services that is common at other dealerships. I chose this dealership over Bill Dickason Chevrolet, where my son is a salesman based on the amount I was told for my trade in. With my new truck in transit for several months I obviously continued to put miles on my trade in. I checked 2 weeks before scheduled arrival of new vehicle to confirm trade in value with the sales rep, she verified with management that the trade in value would be honored. This dealership is 4 hours from me. When new vehicle arrived I let dealership know I was on my way. 2 hours into my trip I received a call stating that the trade in price would not be honored but reduced by $5k. My salesperson was upset and went to her management, she was literally told that she needs to be an advocate for the dealership for this not the customer. The finance guy was able to offset by removing market adjustment, but this entire ordeal took a sale away from my son, who was able to offer me the same price for my trade in that Apple Sport gave me in the end. It took 8 hours of my time driving as my sons dealership is within 30 minutes vs 4 hours one way, it took multiple months from having the new vehicle because I waited on the transit vehicle vs one on the lot from my son's dealership, and cost my business as I waited on the new 3/4 ton to haul my trailers vs the 1/2 ton that I traded in. I feel like I was lied to the entire process to get a sale for this particular dealership. I will be posting this to every review site as well as social media. This is a very bad way to do business and keep a good reputation with consumers. read more

Contacted the dealer twice on Sunday and Monday with no return call over a Corvette for sale. They had a market adjustment of 5k originally. Finally get a text on Wednesday and the market adjustment went up to 20k now. No thanks. read more

After three days of trying to make contact with the dealership, I was finally working with Johnny on a used car purchase. They didn't have the keys for the vehicle advertised, but it was a good deal so I was willing to wait. Another 24 hours go by, and finally he managed to come up with the keys but then he decides to tell me the vehicle went up more than 40% over the advertised price in the mean time (I have screen shots, but they removed the ad in the mean time). Everything went very smooth, waiting on the paperwork took longer than expected. But, overall we were very pleased.

I was in town for a month doing some training and had been looking for a truck. I stopped by Apple-Sport to see what they had. Nothing on the lot was what I needed, but Stephanie Alfano said don't worry; they could find what I needed. And they did! Had a great experience buying my 2014 Chevy Z71 from them. This review is for Apple-Sport Ford. My mom bought a car here a few years ago and she has had nothing but a stellar experience from the moment she bought it. This week she ran up unexpectedly on some debris in the road that damaged her car. This would be upsetting for anyone, but the Ford staff went above and beyond, not only in repairing the car but in the kindness they showed. The absolute worst costumer service, I have ever experienced! I deal went through easy and they worked with the fact I put nothing down but my sales person was awful after we signed papers we were treated awful. I work in customer service and I know if someone has questions or concerns even if the deal is closed its only right to continue to treat them well so you get business from them again in the future and I will say I will never buy from them again. I had to ask multiple times where my plates for the truck were, after them doing the agreed upon service or get the truck aligned I pick up my truck that was half full on empty and the truck still drove poorly so I had to have another alignment done on my truck to fix the first one. read more

My name is Joann Faulk. I have been taking my vehicles to the Ford House in Marlin for years, back when it was still Glover. It seems that the quality of customer service and vehicle service gave changed since Apple Sport has taken over. I had an accident back in August, I had my car sent here for repairs. It has been a month and they still have my car, its one excuse after the other from Lewis in the body shop. First they filed the claim wrong, then they were waiting on parts, now they have been sent the wrong parts twice because they did not order them from Ford. They order after market parts and charge Ford prices. I am elderly and have no way to my medical appointments or the grocery store. If I ever do get my vehicle back. I will never do business here again. Beware of taking your vehicle here. I have lost respect foe the people and service at this establishment. read more

Customer service always wins in my book. The team at Apple Sport was incredible to work with. They were passionate and not pushy. Very reasonable and upfront.
