What really sets BATV apart, though, are the AMAZING COMMUNITY EVENTS they host throughout the year. Their holiday celebrations are always so thoughtful and family-friendly -- the Christmas event was so much fun; with beautiful decor, a festive atmosphere, and plenty of delicious snacks/food/drinks. CNW has run so many programs that thinking about the logistics of them all alone boggles my small mind. Between author events, regular discussions like Feminism and Dessert (now run in conjunction with Boston NOW), one off parties and events, and the WAM! Conference, CNW has been all up in the gender justice world, taking it to the limit. I got to attend a couple of CNW events and pretty much all of them blasted my brain to oblivion with awesome new ideas.
