This news station is often biased in its reporting, leaning "left". Tonight, it did a report on a gang of girls who attacked two women in Dedham. The girls pounded on a restaurant window, an employee asked them to stop, and a girl replied, "What did you say to me, white woman?" The two employees were then punched, kicked, and dragged by the hair. The attack, similar to several in the Boson area in recent weeks, was racially motivated, and a hate crime, but not once did WBZ News state this or mention the race of the attackers. If this attack had involved a gang of white girls beating up two innocent black women, you can bet that the race of the attackers would have been noted.
ALL hate crimes based on race are wrong, so spell it out, WBZ! Stop this ridiculous once sided reporting, seemingly based on the assumption that non-whites "can't be racist", that the race of criminals must never be mentioned if they aren't white, and that mentioning it will somehow "hurt" the black community. Every attack in recent weeks committed by gangs of black girls involved white victims of all ages. This is the proverbial elephant in the room.
