This place is not a Spirit of Halloween but have the basics of what you need for an event. Balloons, costumes, party supplies and more. Pricing is reasonable. When we went, it was super busy, however the store itself was organized and clean. I was able to find what I need since they are categorized. I ended up getting g a wig for under $8.00. Can't beat that!

I had placed an…read moreonline order for in store pickup here because they had several St Patricks items I was looking for that no other locations had. The order was placed and prepared as promised. When I arrived at the store it was late afternoon. The parking lot is in an interesting state of disrepair. Inside the store itself is super out dated. There were so many boxes and things everywhere that it deterred me from looking around at all. I got in line for my pickup and was waited on promptly, but fairly unfriendly. My order was stuffed into a bag which could have damaged several of the items, luckily it did not. The prices were good, and clearly they had decent inventory but otherwise this store needs some improvements.

Recently, I ordered balloons online for an in store pickup. I highly recommend checking online prices because my order was 60% cheaper than the in store price. Ordered two giant number balloons and paid $8. You have to order two hours in advance and they guarantee the balloons for 24 hours. So far, my order has lasted for 48 hours and has not lost any helium. Very happy! I find that the prices here can be very good on certain items but I always do my research. As far as service goes, this location is a-okay.

My balloons look horrible. They didn't even bother to curl the ribbon (a detail Cappel's always adds) and the way the employee tied them made it impossible to curl the whole other side of the ribbon. They stacked them okay but left the main balloon way too high up. For what I paid for all of the balloons and the weight this is so disappointing. I could have gotten 1) more 2) better quality and care. I will never go here again.

Disappointing Experience. Lack of Transparency & Customer Service…read more I paid $172 to have several dozen balloons filled with helium at the Cappels in Blue Ash for a 3/29/26 event. I called a week in advance to confirm they fill balloons purchased elsewhere. I was told yes, given a price estimate, and specifically told the store was closed on Sunday, so I would need to bring them in Saturday. (I was accused of calling the wrong store. I did not and my phone log is proof) I dropped the balloons off Saturday afternoon and paid in full. By the next morning, all but one balloon had deflated. Since I was told the store was closed Sunday, I had no way to address the issue before my event. When I followed up, I was told they don't guarantee balloons purchased elsewhere, a policy that was never disclosed. Only later after informing the owner that my negative review would be left on social media, did she offer a partial refund, which I declined, as the service completely failed and was left with no balloons for my event. Mistakes happen, I get it but it's the lack of transparency, accountability and willingness to back the customer when THEIR services obviously failed. Customers deserve clear communication and fair resolution. DO BETTER CAPPELS! I definitely will not return.

Prices are more affordable than many of party/card specialty stores, but more expensive than your big box discounters. If you're in need of helium-filled balloons, Factory Card Outlet is the place to go--just make sure that you plan ahead. Mylar and regular balloons to celebrate every occasion--birthdays, graduations, new baby, get well--can be pre-ordered and picked up on the day they are needed. I highly recommend this option, because every time I've walked in at the last minute for balloons I've been told there is at least a forty-five minute wait.
