Angel took the time to explain and actually show us where the issue was and what he did to resolve it. While he was here I also took advantage to ask him about our sewer line and what we could do to perform maintenance on the line from our house to the sewer line on the street and he took the time to explain how the system works and what we could do to perform the service in the future along with a quote that came in a lot less than other plumbers were quoting me on Yelp. I really appreciated that. We will definitely use Angel in the future.

Then, in 2022, we had an in-wall pinhole leak, and I managed to fix the leak with a rubber pad and a hose clamp. Definitely did the trick! I also performed a couple of preventive fixes on those cooper green spots. It's an indication of a future pinhole leak. Knowing we were on borrowed time, on 1/8/26, 5yrs later, the formal living room carpet was soaking wet. That's the second slab leak and the 3rd leak. To repair or to repipe, that is the question....??? After speaking with Mike regarding our situation, Mike suggested it's really time to repipe. Only if we had done it 5yrs ago, I could have saved a lot more and not dealt with water damage. Sure, I can spend another $1500-$2000 on a repair, but my days are truly counting. I finally decided to pull the trigger, and I regretted why I didn't do it 5 yrs ago for $8k. Prices went up A LOT! Sigh..... I finalized the project with Mike on Tuesday, and Mike and Zara arranged the crew to come on Thursday. A team of 8 people quickly went to work. 4 Bathrooms + kitchen + Fridge + laundry room + laundry sink + 4 hose bibs were all completed in one day! (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) The house looked like it had gone through WW III with so many random holes everywhere. I was wondering how they were able to restore the house to its original condition. Finally, after the city inspection was passed, the wall patch team came in. On day 1, only 2 guys came. They were courteous and did the best they could for 1 day. On day 2, an entire army of 8 came in and finished the drywall patching and texturing. All done. I could hardly tell the wall had been patched. Since whole house repiping is considered a part of construction, do expect some things to be broken here and there, or shower faucet installations could be done more professionally. All of my concerns raised with Mike were addressed and rectified by the foreman, Emmanuel, promptly. I was reassured that CARE Plumbing stood behind their workmanship and truly listened to and cared for customer satisfaction. The Mike and Zara team had my back every step of the way, and I'm sure they will treat your house like theirs as well.

I had a major sewer issue (my sewer pipe under my house and garage was failing) and Raul promptly…read morecame out to assess the scope of work. I had several companies come out to estimate the project, and Raul gave me an extremely competitive estimate on what needed to be done and the approximate cost. Of everyone who saw the project, he was the only one who quoted me for the most comprehensive long-term solution at an extremely reasonable cost, and demonstrated thorough experience of what I should expect. We began the project right away. This was a 4 day job. It's an old house with the sewer line that was partially encased in very thick 12" slab of ultra-high psi concrete (poured in the 50s). Raul and Armani showed up day 1 with several trucks, a huge crew, and got to work immediately with jackhammers, a backhoe, new ABS sewer piping, and pipe liner hardware. They put up tarps to protect against dust, and went right to work. One of my concerns was that they had to dig in my garden as it was sitting right on top of my sewer cleanout... which has a bird of paradise that has been growing there for at least a decade. They actually managed to remove the plants, do all the work they needed to do, and replant them without over-stressing the plants... and it looks like the plants are doing great. Hardly even looks like they dug such a large hole in that area. As for the rest of the job, we ended up having to make a few audibles along the way because it was such a challenging dig - through no fault of their own of course, it's just an old house and there will always be surprises along the way - but Raul and Armani promptly came up with solutions that were not only the *right way* to do it, but also respected my budget. At the end, they hauled away all old debris and cleaned things up like they were never there. I'm extremely happy with the work. There was no way around this being an expensive project, that's just the nature of a total sewer replacement under such thick concrete, but because of their professionalism I truly felt heard, respected, and valued. And now my sewer should be good for another 70 years. I would recommend Raul and Armani and their Doctor Rooter organization to anyone who wants their sewer work done correctly and within budget. I highly recommend them.
