They are only open two days therefore appts are very limited. I made an appt a month out but a week…read moreand half before the appt, they had me come in for blood work. First and foremost - very unprofessional, very poor manners. The nurse that took care of me and took my blood and urine was nice but even her - she was unprofessional. It felt like I was in a ghetto Dominican Republic Clinic. When I finished with the Nurse, I had no idea on what was next, no one made eye contact with me, no said a word so I started to walk out and then the receptionist called me (how was I supposed to know if no one made any attempt to speak to me) The reception made the assumption because I am Latina that I would want my paperwork in spanish and I had to tell her to reprint in English. I wish this stopped here. My appointment was a Tuesday morning the following week. Monday, I work 10am-7pm, and I work as an assistant general manager of a busy business. And Monday I was in a meeting after a meeting after a meeting. First - I want to be clear, I followed instructions to set up my patient portal, I went to my bloodwork appt for this appt, I took the day off in advance already so I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT TO MY APPT. The office called me while I am at work around 2pm and left a message (Which I did not get to see until 6pm). In the voicemail, they say if I do not call back before 5pm, they will cancel my appt. Of course I do not call back. They call me again around 4 pm and left a voicemail to tell me they cancelled my appt for the next day which is less than 24 hours. Their office closes at 5pm. I am not sure what kind of business takes a month to make an appt, then has the person come in the week before for bloodwork and then on a day the patient had to take off, cancels there appt with inadequate notice. The next morning, Tuesday, I called and spoke to the receptionist. This was her exact response. "You had to have gone to the bathroom and been able to see your phone." Again, unprofessional. Not sure how you can imply that it is my fault for not responding to a call within 2-3 hour window while I use the bathroom assuming I used the bathroom at all or even saw my phone for that matter. She offered me a virtual call - I did not take a day off for a virtual call, first off and second I did not wait a whole month for the doctor not to see me. I searched for DR Pimentel and really wanted to meet her since she seems to be an expert but I refuse to give them my time or money. Again, I felt like I was in a ghetto Dominican Republic Clinic. I hate to see this because I am Dominican and this is an example of how my people come to this country and think they can still behave and treat others the way some places do in our country. EDUCATE YOURSELVES, ELEVATE, BE BETTER if not go back to DR. You are not in your house, this is a place of business.

And to top it off my regular doctor wasn't even here so I saw one of the other doctors that I don't know from the practice. My time is valuable too. People forget about professionalism. This is not a way to run an office. Look for another doctor.
