Went in for IV treatment and was barely greeted by the most arrogant, unprofessional and condescending consult with PA ( Tammy I believe? ) on my first consult. The nurse there took my blood pressure and asked very personal questions regarding my health conditions in the waiting room in front of other patients and people waiting for patients ( I'm sure that violates some kind of HIPPA laws ) and to top it all off they only accept cash and don't do their job to check with your insurance if your deductible is met before starting any treatment. I'm out $530 and they still expect me to pay $150 every time I go in to finish my IV treatment ( have 3 more to go ) despite confirming with my insurance that my deductible is met. This office is unbelievably money hungry which is no surprise every medical office is a business at the end of the day but it seems like every single person that works there ( nurses and medical assistants included ) lack bed side manner and empathy and are just there for a paycheck. I refuse to ever step foot in there ever again unless it's for my refund from when my deductible was met. read more

The doctors here are so great, my grandma has been coming here since 2012. They've been nothing but helpful I'm giving 2 starts for the people at the reception. There's especially one girl whose always bossy and makes fun of the patients that come in. Just now she was yelling at another co worker for a tiny mistake that could've been fixed BY HER. I highly recommend the place I do since the doctors are amazing but to be honest if I'm dealing with people in the reception that has a sour attitude I wouldn't want to come back. read more

I asked the doctor, but the doctor didn't want to provide me with her name due to whatever reason. By discretion, she's probably the most senior staff in the office, speaks Cantonese. If any of you do visit the office, you can probably tell right the way, because she's the only one that had the loudest voice, as well as an extreme nasty attitude, it's like she's in her Menopause！ Long story short. On 1/9-Thursday, I came here for my girlfriend and my mother in law-whom she needs an intravenous infusion for her side affect from the cancer treatment. When done, I went to this staff and ask her nicely whether my mother in law needs to see the doctor before she leaves in Mandarin. She answered unwillingly like she doesn't understand my question "see what doctor?" I patiently repeated myself, "my mother in law just finished with her intravenous infusion, and she still doesn't feel comfortable, should we see the doctor before we leave?" The staff then again, responded aggressively in an extreme and nasty tone "see doctor or not, how should I know, you go ask the doctor yourself whether she-(as my mother in law) needs to see the doctor or not?" This was what triggered me to yell back at her asking "what the hell's your problem?" After a 30sec argument, (Dr. Zili He), saw me and asked what I'm waiting for. I told him I'm waiting for (Dr. Horace Tang), as he's my mother in law's doctor, and whether she should see him before she leaves. And then, I try to explain to (Dr. Zili He) about what happened between me and the staff: dude doesn't even want to fucking listen, and repeatedly telling me to wait for (Dr. Horace Tang)! Unprofessional at all! I mean, as a Doctor, shouldn't You want to know why there's an argument between the patient and your staff, instead of ignoring it, like nothing happened? My mom has been to this doctor three times since January of this year. The first time we went, he seemed nice and talked with us for about 30 minutes about how he graduated from a top college inChina and he has been a doctor since 1984. We got his life story in that long session. It was weird but that is alright. The second time we went, my mom asked about the recent physical check up from her regular family doctor and wanted to know about different supplements that would help her maintain her calcium level. already, he was impatient and literally yelled at the receptionist for taking us as his patient because he doesn't like United Healthcare. He made us felt like he took us in out of charity. Yesterday, we went again because the mammogram report was the result was incomplete. We are concern about exposing my mom to excessive radiation. (She had beast cancer and had a major surgery just last year.). He again was impatient whenever my mom asked him questions. That is no way to gain a patient's trust. What really hits the I want to slap your face button was when my mom asks him about possible side effects of physical therapy on a cancer recovery patient like herself, he said, "what do you want me to say." Well, Dr. He, as a oncologist, your job is to ensure that your patient understands the best possible treatment and aftercare. I was referred to Dr. Kafeel by Dr. Zili He. Dr. Kafeel was treating me for iron deficiency as well as other complications due to my Lupus. He was very attentive and caring. Unfortunately, on January 7, 2016, I was diagnosed with early stage of anal cancer. Dr Kafeel took charge of my case. I felt comfortable especially because he spoke spanish. I knew there would be complications because of my Lupus. I was scared, worried about chemo and radiation. Did not know what to expect. He was honest about treatment the pros and cons.
