He mentioned there was also a point where she didn't insert the tube correctly so instead of collecting his blood it was collecting air so she had to redo it. She was clearly distracted, nervous and new. He came home with both of his arms poked. They are currently bruised (after a week), and has a small bump. If he ends up getting an infection, further action is going to happen. This is his 2nd time at this clinic and definitely his last. His first time here was no walk in the park either. I tried calling the clinic and surprise surprise it is only an answering machine.

The second time he went back for the same test they failed to complete all of them. We had to go back third time within one week to have another sample drawn. To add insult to injury, they didn't even offer to wave the fees! If there was a way I could give this place zero stars that would be my rating.

When I walked in, there was a good amount of people who were waiting, most appeared to be walk ins. The person at the front desk was also the same person who took my blood and she was very pleasant and kind. She had called names earlier who were not there and about 10 minutes later, they showed up. The phlebotomist told them usually if they are not here when they call, their turn would be skipped. The lady proceeded to say that the front desk lady said it would be about an hour in which the front desk lady responded saying the wait time was an hour. Still, the phlebotomist said she would take them in anyways after the next patient. Nobody working here seemed to be rude, it was mostly the people walking in making a big fuss complaining about wait times. My process was quick and easy.

Im giving this clinic 5 stars because of the staff. I think this place has the friendliest and the…read moremost qualified staff by far. I have been coming here for all my labs for the past several years now. The employees here genuinely cares for its customers/patients. Sure the wait time can be long at times or the front desk can be managed better, but these are minor compared to the level of service and compassion. Oh and we are in a pandemic for crying out loud. They are doing the best they can. Today, I went in for a blood draw. I was not expecting to see so many people waiting. Obviously, there was a backlog, and I became a little impatient too. After finding out that the phlebotomist was by herself managing both front and back office duties, i felt extremely guilty. Normally there are two people in the clinic. The receptionist was out to lunch. So the phlebotomist had been working nonstop without a break or lunch. Not to mention, she was doing a 3 person job. Due to covid, office hours have been adjusted and some staff were also furloughed. Although office hours are adjusted, the work continues for these healthcare workers. It doesn't stop. And they are putting their lives at risk for us. Please consider making an appointment if possible. This will help alleviate the wait time and frustration for everyone there. In addition, allow extra time as a buffer as these are unusual circumstances. Be patient, have compassion, and be kind.

I'd say the upper management and whoever is in charge of processes and policies is to blame and the workers are just subject to the poor management, short staffing (which is a management issue) and the poorly designed customer care environment. I had an 8:40am appointment, I arrived early... they were more than 20 minutes behind... when I was finally seen, they told me that because it was 9:04am the test would be rejected. I scheduled my appointment with plenty of time and I was on time. I can understand them running a few minutes behind but I've learned they typically run 20-40 minutes behind because they're so poorly managed. Whoever is in charge of the current policies and procedures here should be replaced ASAP. Not only was 1 of my tests unable to be performed because they were behind but when I got my results for my other tests, they completely missed the MAIN test that I went in for. Unacceptable.
