I have been coming here for all my labs for the past several years now. The employees here genuinely cares for its customers/patients. Sure the wait time can be long at times or the front desk can be managed better, but these are minor compared to the level of service and compassion. Oh and we are in a pandemic for crying out loud. They are doing the best they can. Today, I went in for a blood draw. I was not expecting to see so many people waiting. Obviously, there was a backlog, and I became a little impatient too. After finding out that the phlebotomist was by herself managing both front and back office duties, i felt extremely guilty. Normally there are two people in the clinic. The receptionist was out to lunch. So the phlebotomist had been working nonstop without a break or lunch. Not to mention, she was doing a 3 person job. Due to covid, office hours have been adjusted and some staff were also furloughed. Although office hours are adjusted, the work continues for these healthcare workers. It doesn't stop. And they are putting their lives at risk for us. Please consider making an appointment if possible. This will help alleviate the wait time and frustration for everyone there. In addition, allow extra time as a buffer as these are unusual circumstances. Be patient, have compassion, and be kind.

I'd say the upper management and whoever is in charge of processes and policies is to blame and the workers are just subject to the poor management, short staffing (which is a management issue) and the poorly designed customer care environment. I had an 8:40am appointment, I arrived early... they were more than 20 minutes behind... when I was finally seen, they told me that because it was 9:04am the test would be rejected. I scheduled my appointment with plenty of time and I was on time. I can understand them running a few minutes behind but I've learned they typically run 20-40 minutes behind because they're so poorly managed. Whoever is in charge of the current policies and procedures here should be replaced ASAP. Not only was 1 of my tests unable to be performed because they were behind but when I got my results for my other tests, they completely missed the MAIN test that I went in for. Unacceptable.

The only warning she gave me was grabbing my arm, saying 'small poke', and then she jabbed my arm so hard and fast...it hurt like no other blood taking experience in my life. Horrible. I had a fist full of my shirt and I was gritting my teeth when she decided to mock me and say "oh no is someone afraid of needles?" In a condescending and mocking tone! My arm is still bruised and sore 4 days later. Absolutely unprofessional and will never be returning.
