Im giving this clinic 5 stars because of the staff. I think this place has the friendliest and the most qualified staff by far. I have been coming here for all my labs for the past several years now. The employees here genuinely cares for its customers/patients. Sure the wait time can be long at times or the front desk can be managed better, but these are minor compared to the level of service and compassion. Oh and we are in a pandemic for crying out loud. They are doing the best they can. Today, I went in for a blood draw. I was not expecting to see so many people waiting. Obviously, there was a backlog, and I became a little impatient too. After finding out that the phlebotomist was by herself managing both front and back office duties, i felt extremely guilty. Normally there are two people in the clinic. The receptionist was out to lunch. So the phlebotomist had been working nonstop without a break or lunch. Not to mention, she was doing a 3 person job. Due to covid, office hours have been adjusted and some staff were also furloughed. Although office hours are adjusted, the work continues for these healthcare workers. It doesn't stop. And they are putting their lives at risk for us. Please consider making an appointment if possible. This will help alleviate the wait time and frustration for everyone there. In addition, allow extra time as a buffer as these are unusual circumstances. Be patient, have compassion, and be kind. read more

I was told to come back the following day, due to the high volume of appointments, and the short staffed. I completely get places can be hectic and so I came again on Thursday at 12:30 as I was told by the young gentleman from Wednesday morning that would be a good time for me to come in for a urine drug test. When I checked in on Thursday, I was told to go elsewhere, like San Francisco. The phlebotomist John was very rude to me and told me they wouldn't see me today or the next day. Please do better, Labcorp and hire professional welcoming staff. read more

Painful! I'm in deep pain after the LabCorp technician stabbed me with a needle, failed to find blood, POKED around 4 TIMES!!! Then, he decided to try again with ANOTHER needle! He poked around again and finally struck gold (blood)!. I can't believe I have to pay for this torture! I've had blood tests at various hospitals and labs that have not poked around like this clumsy, unprofessional Labcorp technician. I give this guy -10! Line out the door to check/in (which, by the way is a duplicate of the required front desk check in) Pay market rates Labcorp if you want people to work for you. I had a great experience at this Labcorp in Pinole! I was redirected from Benicia Vallejo to include both a blood and urine test. Check in was easy. Wait was maybe 5 minutes in a pleasant waiting room. Check in was quick. Blood draw was smooth and efficient. Monica the Phlebotomist was professional, friendly, eased any concerns I had. No pain. Absolutely awful customer service. I've been calling nonstop just to find out if my drug panel results are ready--nothing. No answers, no callbacks, no updates. I was told it would take three business days. It's been over a week, and I've received nothing. This test was for pre-employment/school, and my deadline is rapidly approaching. This delay could cost me an opportunity, and no one seems to care. I've left multiple messages and tried reaching out several times, but it's like shouting into a void. I'm extremely disappointed with the experience I had during my recent visit. I came in as a walk-in for urgent lab work related to a possible miscarriage--a situation that was already emotionally overwhelming. Despite checking in through Express Check-In, I waited over 60 minutes just to be acknowledged. When I politely asked the front desk for an update after waiting more than 60 minutes, the staff member responded rudely, simply saying, "We are short-staffed," and then walked away without offering any apology, empathy, or further information. There was no sense of urgency, compassion, or professionalism from the staff, which made an already traumatic situation even more distressing. This level of insensitivity and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may be experiencing emergencies. I hope this issue is addressed so that future patients don't have to go through a similar experience. *Just as an FYI, there were four employees in the back, 3 women, 1 male and no one was attending the front desk for over 30 minutes read more

Very unprofessional. I came and I guess they just closed for lunch. Before I could open my mouth to ask a question, the women rudely threw her hand up waving me away and said no were closed. I didn't even ask anything yet. Then I attempted to ask if I could wait there in the waiting room until they opened. But before I could finish my sentence, she said out loud to herself "just ignore her, just ignore her". Another lady came out and let me know I couldn't wait there. After Labcorp's own Appointment app scheduled me here on 11/20/24, I arrived to find out they are temporarily closed. Do you think they texted or e-mailed me to advise me not to come before I crossed the bridge? In addition, there was a sign on the door advising us to visit the closest one, which was in Albany. I drove the extra 12miles only to find out they don't do Pre-Employment tests at that location. The very unprofessional lady at the front desk, seemed to think it was funny that I made the drive unnecessarily. I then drove about 28miles to Napa only to find more of the same. I could go on and on, but wtf really cares? All I can say is unless my Employer of someone makes me go, Quest will have my business from now on. I will not post and still patronize Labcorp. I went online on Dec 20th and made an appointment for a drug screen, but the earliest availability was Jan 9th. I went on Labcorp's website under "FAQ" (frequently asked questions) and seen that walk ins in Pinole were welcome. When I had a chance to go, I arrived at 07:05 AM. When I got there, there was a sign saying drug screens were only between 1PM - 2:30PM. I inquired about it and a gentleman/employee confirmed the time, but also said its by appointment only (no walk ins) because they're backed up and short staffed. He was apologetic and was not rude at all. Being short staffed and busy is not the employees fault, even if it does suck for us customers. He provided me with a list of other locations that provide drug screens, but they were in San Francisco, Milpitas, Fremont, and Napa. I don't want to risk driving that far to be turned down again. I'm going to have to wait until Jan 9th or keep calling other locations until someone answers and confirm they can take me earlier than Jan 9th. read more

This place is terribly unprofessional and inconvenient. I've been trying to get a drug test here since past Saturday to which is now Wendsday. They only take the tests when Mercury is in retrograde orbit, only on an odd numbered weekdays, when the moon is waxing after 8am and before 1pm minus lunch breaks. It doesn't say anywhere on their website about only taking samples at very specific times on very specific days and I'm here in the parking garage waiting for 70 minutes so they can finish their mid day break. This is seriously whack and ridiculous, no wonder it's so hard to get a job again in America, seriously, screw these people. Not helpful at all. read more

When was the last time the waiting room was painted and carpet changed? Also the check-in machines are always malfunctioning. Not enough chairs. With all the money LabCorp makes they can afford to redecorate. Plus what's with not having enough butterflies for drawing blood. Many times I've gone there and they have no butterflies. With my age and cancer and small veins I got to have the use of a butterfly to draw my blood. read more

I was in this location on 4/25/22. After waiting for over two hours for my test I had to leave for a family emergency. I collected my ID and said I would reschedule. The technician submitted my test as a refusal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to reschedule. I never refused anything. This is hands down the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had at any lab or medical facility. Incompetent and unsanitary. Possibly dishonest. Consider this a review with zero stars. The guy at the check-in desk was wearing his mask below his nose and allowing a customer to check in (in the very small confined indoor space) *without a mask* -- even though masks are required in medical settings. I had to point it out to him, and was met with a blank stare until I asked him what he was going to do about the guy not wearing a mask (and another one entering the same space, also without a mask). The computerized check-in stations are only an arm's-length away from each other, side-by-side. Imagine using those check-in stations with a maskless person (not the picture of health) standing within coughing distance of you. I did not see any (much less several) signs prominently displayed informing visitors that masks are required. I did not feel safe there. It didn't get better from there. My next stop was the verification for billing before any services could be rendered. The woman who processed my *two* forms of insurance for my *standard yearly lab tests* informed me that some of the tests may not be covered by my insurance and I would therefore be responsible for paying for those. I told her I do this every year and have never had to pay for these tests (considered preventative) and I asked if she had submitted information for *both* of my insurance accounts. She said she had, and that all the tests weren't covered by my insurance. Knowing this to be false (and wondering if they were scamming people by charging them extra for fully paid services and then keeping the $$), I immediately left. When I got home I called my insurance company and inquired if the tests were covered. No surprise: yes...they were ALL covered by my insurance. And no co-pay. If this place can't get the simple basics correct, you have to wonder how reliable their testing is. I'm glad I didn't have my tests performed there. Needless to say, I will never return; and I will certainly warn anyone who is considering using this location for testing that might be critical to their health care. Unfortunately, my medical coverage requires that I use Labcorp; but I will be looking for a different location and hoping for competent and sanitary service there. read more

1. Site does not have necessary supplies. Phlebotomist told me they haven't been able To get what they need in several months and may need to close down. Supplies stuck on ship at the port. When I saw all the terrible reviews about LabCorp I was a wee bit concerned. I also know that people seldom review places like a lab when they are happy with the service. Either way I had no choice this is where my insurance says I have to go. The only real difference I noticed was they have, what appears to be, a dedicated front window receptionist. They also send the blood and such to Florida, rather than just down highway 80. I watch every step of a blood test with great interest. If you are a squish you can turn your head and look out a window, they are on the 2nd floor so you get a nice treetop view. read more

Even though the staff is great and hard working,, The company leadership doesn't seem to understand what customer service is because this place is horribly understaffed. My appointment doesn't mean anything if it takes an hour for them to get me in. They need a front desk person that doesn't move. There is a flabotomist drawing blood and running front desk. Front desk has alot of work and shouldn't be interrupted. If this place is like this I can assure all Labcorp locations are like this. LabCorp, please get your staff together and talk about time management. Myself and other patients waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes. No one showed up until 7:20 AM! Your sign on the door and the recording on your answering machine say 7AM. If you are not going to be honoring those times do not post that you are open at 7 AM. Ridiculous. You guys wasted 20 minutes of everyone's life that they will never get back. UPDATE: I went back to lapCorp for follow up blood work. I signed in at 7:15AM and was not seen until 8AM, when there was only 2 other people waiting. This is ridiculous. Every time I come in here these ladies are sitting down. Today 7/24 I came in again for blood work. I walked in and there were two women at the front desk hanging out. After I signed in. And they chatted for a few minutes then they called up the next patient. I don't understand if they have staff available why they make patients wait. Had a past balance due at the start of my visit and I had to make a minimum payment before to be seen, it was like 2/3rd of the actual bill so I told the lady at the front just round it up to the nearest full number and she repeated back the amount but then PROCEEDED to charge me the full amount. When she gave me back the receipt to sign it said the full amount and I even told her "I said charge me $120" and all she said was "oops sorry" and just asked me if I wanted the receipt like what she did wasn't a mistake. I mean I understand that she was on her way off from the shift and maybe she had a long day but damn, not that hard to confirm with the patient which she DID but didn't do properly. Yesterday I showed up for an employment drug screen at 11:30, only to find out they only do them until 11:00. After my look of disapointment, the receptionist said hold on, have a seat. Be ready to wait over an hour or two even if you have an appointment. Used their contactless check-in which says they will text you when they're ready to see you--- never happened. I suspected this would happen due to the bad reviews, so I made sure to stay in the waiting area 15 mins before my appointment time. Receptionist disappeared with my ID for an hour as well. If you still decide to come here, make sure you call because they may close early like they did today. Avoid this place. read more
