My experience here at C-DAT was quick, easy, and painless. I came in with no appointment in the afternoon on a Tuesday. I needed a pre drug screen test for my job, and they helped me right away. Jason and the gang at C-Dat are GREAT. They are very friendly and helpful. There have been times when I knew I couldn't get there until a few minutes after closing. All I had to do was let them know and, they'd stay a few minutes late just to take care of me. I have never had a negative experience dealing with them. After hours of investigating my particular need, I decided to call C-DAT for some direction. Assuming they wouldn't be able to help much, Jason was the hero of the day! During this time, it was challenging to find a location open to provide LiveScan services, much less direction on my need, but C-DAT, Jason and the team were there! Upon arriving, Jason had to do about 15-20min worth of research to make sure we got what I needed right. I need to get drug testing regularly for my employment. I've been using CDAT for 5 years now and they are are fantastic. Working in medicine, I've had to do this across many states and cities and CDAT is really the best. Great walk in hours. Friendly service. I have also used them to get trained in sample collection - again very thorough training. Now they offer finger printing and notary services - it's really one stop shopping. I used them today for finger prints and notary - had same day appointment requested - my appointment started early and Jason was very professional and welcoming as usual. Great value. Well lets see. I came there for a DMV physical and noted on my paperwork I recently had surgery which lead to a 3 week run around from them of paperwork and confusion wasting time. 1) They said they needed my medical records (fine) I filled out their paperwork only to find out I hadn't signed something and after a week I finally call them to check the status and they tell me I had to come back and sign something 2) The following week I got a note from my MD, who's an occupational health MD, stating he said I have no limitations on driving a commercial truck but somehow that was still not enough for this place. 3) the third time I went back I spoke with a woman and told me "the doctor would really like to clear me but because of the rules and my on paper work restrictions they cannot clear me and gave me this tremendous run around as to why a signed doctors' note would not suffice. So I wasted $65 at this place, never actually saw the doctor nor did he do any type of assessment. And for a place that says they play so closely to the rules I wonder how the DOT would feel about "whispering" to someone to conduct the hearing test. Really it's my fault I should have just gone to kaiser like I did now to get cleared in the first place read more

If there was a rating of negative zero, it would go to the Physicians James Kunsman and Dusty Lewis for my experience with my physical testing at C-DAT. Since there is no rating of zero, I'm forced to give C-DAT a one star. I've tried to comply to the best of my ability with everything they told me to do in the physical process, and they still are denying my medical DOT. The receptionist Yvonne or Jason just keeps telling me if you give me your name and number, the message will be relayed to the physician and they will give me a call. No physician has called me back. What I get from the Physician James Kunsman or Dusty Lewis is a texted message link. What happened to communication by calling the patient directly. The results hasn't even come back from my testing and they've already denied my DOT. They want another physical and charges a fee for a consultation when it should've been all included in the first physical. It seems to me that C-DAT is looking to charge money from patients and employers for everything. I've tried to work with them, but it seems as they don't want you to succeed. You're better off going to a different clinic or physician to obtain your DOT because if you go to C-DAT, be prepared for the physicians James Kunsman and Dusty Lewis to prolong the physical exam, make you go through all these things, and then fail your medical without physically telling you in person why? Good luck. Overall, everyone is nice there, but it seemed the receptions always have to check in with the physicians and can never have a straight answer of what to do. Make an executive decision. Just a disappointing experience, and they too have been reported. I understand physicians are busy, but so are people who go there. We are all busy, but are trying to make time too. If this is called harassment behavior, then this is my rating for my experience with C-DAT. read more

My father and I went here to get a special case DNA testing for a passport done. The personnel, especially Ivan, helped us through the process of the testing. He was very personable and thoughtful and wanted to give us the best service regarding our case. My father even accidentally left his debit card in the facility and called my father right away, so he is aware and my father was able to pick it up right away. My father commends his honesty. The place was clean. I definitely recommend coming here. I am a commercial driver and every year I have to summit to a physical exam. I don't like visiting any thing that has to do with a doctor or clinic at all, but this place made me feel comfortable and went out of the way to assist me. I was met by friendly smiling faces, people who seam to know what they were talking about. The fitness exam was thorough and all the staff there made the process easy for me from the time I walked through the door until the time I was back into my truck. I was in and out with my yearly medical renewal Certificate in hand and off to the DMV to wait in line( but that's another review). This place is by far the best place I have been to for a DOT medical exam in the 23 years I have been Driving a CMV!! 5 Stars for you all at C-DAT!!! read more

Yesterday I had to take a drug screen test for an upcoming job, the place I went to first couldn't see me because it was too late in the day and I didn't have an appointment, I called and checked with C-DAT if they would be willing to see me and help me, they said yes. When I got there it was around 330 and they stopped testing at 4. 4o'clock came around and I still wasn't ready to take the test, they were willing to help me and waited an additional 20 minutes until I had to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they are definitely a crew I will be recommending other people to go to if they need any service done. read more

This place is the WORST place to do your DOT Physical. Couple of years ago it was great with the old doctor and now this lady so called "Doctor" or the medical assistant says: "Manager". She has ripped customer off to keep coming back over and over. She even charge for $15.00 for just looking at the sleep apnea data. Many drivers come here, only to find out she's only giving 3 month. She then lied to them to come back after 90 days to get 1 year certificate but it's a false. She will keep charging their insurance money to keep coming back and kept saying you are not qualify and must meet DOT standard. You know what lady, there are lots of DOT doctor out there is just simple, easier and better. No ripping off customer and not making them lose their jobs. They just want drivers to be happy, healthy and stabilize to drive! What you doing to drivers is not healthy but stressful and making them losing money to keep coming back. You should be a shame of what you do!!!!! Not a friendly so call "doctor"!!!!! read more

Drug & Alcohol Testing -- following the basic guidelines as documented by the state and nothing else is something any literate person with an heartbeat can perform and get accurate results. Getting an MEC, medical examination certificate, from these "chiropractors", (not MDs), is something that doesn't fall under the same simple guidelines as the above D&A testing. MEC's require not only the State regulations to set of guidelines, but also need to have people do due diligence in determining whether the client is actually in violation of those regulations. This due diligence is not being practiced by this company, because no matter what the "exam" entails, or what answers are given to their questions, there isn't a diagnosis and determination; there is just a determination of whether the client is actually fit to be a driving professionally by the written regulations alone and not truly apply regulations by examination and observing: (are the applicants falling asleep in the exam room, or are they shaking or demonstrating questionable or alarming behavior?) Quite an incompetent way of doing something if you use the regulations by themselves without this observation. Real competent doctors would determine if the applicant physically manifested any of the "red-flagged" info that they got from just verbal communication. My advice for anyone going into this shop is to say absolutely nothing, and force the "examiners" to observe only to determine the results -- but that would require a REAL doctor's trained ability. Go instead to Kaiser Occupational Medicine to get truly State Regulated results. read more
