I have been frequenting Frankie's for over 12 years since I moved to the area…read more They started out absolutely fantastic. Four years in, I noticed I still had to come home and vacuum a few spots here and again. Right after Covid might have been the absolute best crew - between 2020 - 2024. I just got home with my vehicle after spending $70 including tip, on a mini-detail job. The person cleaning my vehicle looked no more than 19. No problem. Kids can do good work. Not this time... They missed the entire center console, leaving debris, dust, and crumbs. They missed one entire rear door - it was not vacuumed out or wiped down. They didn't touch the rear seats at all. The front seat had rock salt residue remaining on the headrest from my kids in the backseat. The sides of every seat weren't touched at all. There was dust and crumbs still remaining on the floor and on the floor mats. They didn't even snap the floor mats back in, I had to snap them in myself. They didn't even remove the front floor mats to vacuum, I removed them myself and tons of pine needles and this winters rock salt remained. Like I said - the best and most thorough crew I have noticed was between 2020-2024. This crew is like those teenage kids that prop up in a parking lot holding signs. I had to go home and vacuum and wipe down the inside of my vehicle after spending 70 bucks. I understand it's not a full detail - but when you go years at the same place as the prices increase with inflation, you now have rights to judge when the job doesn't match the price tag. Absolutely disappointed. 2 stars only for how friendly the staff is.

We pulled up, and there was no line, and purchased the platinium car wash, which also came with a vacuum. Must say, they did do a great job vaccuuming both the car and the trunk too. Some of the parts inside the car wash seemed to be not working, like the rim cleaners of the wheels. While after the car wash, the car seemed fresher, My dad feels that it doesn't come out too clean. but it's alright. A fresh car can be a good thing, can it be top notch?

Back around 2006 I bought my first BMW which was an 1998 740iL. I wanted to have it serviced…read morecorrectly by someone who knew that model as well as any BMW mechanic would but would charge less than BMW rates. I researched and called a few, relatively local shops that did work on foreign makes/models and I wasn't impressed by any of them in either their shop's appearance (if they had shop photos on their website) nor by whomever I spoke with over the phone. I had a much better experience however when I called CIM and spoke to the owner, Rick for the first time. I told him the make and model of my car and he correctly recited the engine/specs as well as a few known issues that engine and model car tends to have (cooling system leaks). I was impressed by his knowledge as well as his professionalism over the phone. I knew I found the shop I wanted to use for all necessary work on my 7 series. When I visited CIM for the first time I found a clean and organized shop. Rick has racing posters/art around that are neatly displayed and his shop has a nice lounge area with various car magazines, a coffee maker and water cooler for customers to use. I haven't had a car serviced there in about four or five years (because I didn't own one) so I don't know if things have changed with Rick, the quality of the service or the condition of his shop. However, when I did have my cars (BMW 540i sport after the 7 series) worked on there, my experience was that it was always top notch service. Rick's service/repair prices were always reasonable especially compared to the dealer but even on their own I thought his prices were fair. I never had any sudden or hidden costs when it was time to settle up the bill. He gave me a price for specific work that needed to be done and that's the price I paid. No ugly surprises. I'm probably going to be calling him soon for service on my recently acquired 2006 Mini Cooper S. ***UPDATE*** 05/05/16 - I recently had a few issues on my '06 MINI Cooper S corrected at CIM Motorsport and its seems nothing has changed since I last had work completed there. I experienced the same great service and good prices. Before taking it to CIM, I took that same MINI to the MINI dealer twice to correct an issue with the A.C. (No cold air) and twice the dealer failed to correct the problem. Rick checks it out, tells me there's 0 charge in the system which is more than likely the cause for the lack of cold air. He charges the system, keeps an eye on it for a few days and that appears to have been the issue. I've had the car back for almost a month and the A.C. is still blowing cold without any hiccups so far. What did the MINI dealer do (and charge me for) if all it needed was a charge? That one fix incidentally corrected two issues also. The lack of cold air issue and, the auxiliary fan which wasn't working. Apparently there's a double relay that caused the fan to stop working when the A.C. stopped working. All I paid for was the charge. Nice. Another job well done by Rick and his crew at CIM Motorsport. Excellent service in my experience. Pretty long review, I know but I figured a more detailed review may better help others make a more informed decision.
