I just had an amazing lunch here!!! It's a casual atmosphere (order at the counter and they call your name when it's up) but the food is prompt, very reasonable in price, and soooooooo delicious!!! I had the taco combo as did my companion, and both her chicken tacos and my carne asada tacos were amazing. We were driving through town to get to Sedona and saw that Cali Tacos had great reviews. We're from San Diego so I feel like we expect a lot from our tacos and Cali Tacos did not disappoint. We ordered the 3 chicken, 3 carnitas, and 3 alpastor tacos with everything on it. The tacos came out hot, fresh, and full of so much flavor. All three meats were juicy and delicious, but our favorite was the alpastor. We had two hours left on our trip, so after we ate we went back and ordered more so we can have it AGAIN for dinner once we get to our Airbnb and not have to worry about going out. The service is wonderful and the food is even better. It's a great restaurant, but I must put my foot down as a customer in demand that they fix their drive through issue. Every time me and my colleagues go. We're always sercombe by that hot wall and the, people attending us at the drive-through are always struggling with the bright sun. It's just an uncomfortable experience. I hope management does justice us the customers and their employees by establishing some sort of shade on the west side wall. That way my colleagues and I can continue going there without, getting blinded by the sun. I hope the have some grace for us there costumer and the lovely employee. read more

Everything here is good but my favorite is the Birria tacos. So yummy. I highly recommend.

We normally don't have anything but good things to say about this place but unfortunately today our food was overpowered by onions, not really sure what's going on but the last couple times we have eaten here we have gotten quite a bit of onions. Now we don't mind onions but this time they were extremely excessive. Hope the next time we can enjoy the flavors of the meats and salsas and not just onion. If you are passing by and see Calitacos you owe it to yourself to turn around and go back. You will not regret it!! The food is so good! We went on a recommendation from our God daughter. We met family there and had a party of 7. Everyone ordered something different and were very happy with their food. I had the street tacos , horchata and a churro. No complaints here. I can't wait to go back and try something else. The ladies working at the Buckeye location were very nice and friendly. I understand they have 3 locations, Buckeye, Tolleson & Chandler, but nothing near North Glendale. Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully that day will come!! read more
