I came here to do some shopping, and was pleasantly surprised at just how busy this place is. The store is also very clean, well stocked, and well-run. The employees here work hard, and make sure the customer is taken cared of. Prices here are somewhat comparable to US prices. So if you're coming here for a discount, you might be surprised to find that some merchandise is equally priced, or pricier, than its US counterpart. I will say that the excellent customer service makes shopping here worth it. This store can be accessed from the parking lot or from the plaza walkway. It definitely a different experience shopping here than in the Sears locations back home. To the people that run this place: good job.

When I entered the store, I was carrying a red bag and asked the employee at the entrance if I needed to leave it with her. She clearly stated that it was fine to bring the bag inside as long as I tied it, which I did. Despite this, moments later I heard the same employee report a "red bag" over her walkie-talkie to security. This was misleading and unnecessary, especially since she had already approved the bag. Shortly after, two individuals--one wearing a gray zip-up hoodie and another dressed entirely in black--began following me closely throughout the store. They repeatedly circled me, watched my every move, and made no attempt to be discreet. Their behavior was intimidating and made it impossible for me to shop comfortably. I felt targeted, harassed, and treated as though I were guilty of something simply for being there. I fully understand the need for loss prevention, but this level of surveillance was excessive, inappropriate, and directly contradicted what I was told upon entering. If the store does not trust customers to carry bags, then that policy should be clearly enforced at the entrance rather than allowing entry and then subjecting customers to aggressive monitoring. This experience was humiliating and unacceptable. No customer should be made to feel inferior, embarrassed, or unwelcome while shopping. The lack of consistency and professionalism from both staff and security reflects poorly on this location's management. Due to this incident, I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly urge management to immediately review and correct these practices

The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and truly delicious. I sampled a bit of everything and was not disappointed at all--everything was prepared with care and full of flavor. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to brunch prices in the U.S., making it a great value for the quality and variety of food offered. Our waitress, Olivia, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and always checking in to refill our drinks. The service was top-notch, and the overall ambiance was classy yet relaxed. It felt comfortable and welcoming for both adults and kids. One thoughtful touch I really appreciated was the freestanding coat and purse rack at each table. It may seem small, but it speaks volumes about their attention to customer comfort and detail. And I can't forget to mention the café de la olla--rich, aromatic, and nostalgic. It brought back warm memories of growing up in Tijuana. Even the kids had a great time and enjoyed the meal. I highly recommend Sanborns for a relaxing and tasty Sunday brunch. Blanca asked the manager if it was okay for her to go look for it. Blanca went above and beyond by taking it upon herself to try to find it. She also had to take the time to make a price tag for the sleepwear since it was missing. I felt bad for Blanca because I know how busy that store is. She actually thanked me for waiting. I told Blanca how much I really appreciated her taking the time to personally look for the sandal and to make the tag. That's what I call exceptional customer service! Blanca is truly an asset to the store.

The transaction went well and received my refund in no time. The register lines at TJ Maxx was definitely worse than Ross. They were very slow. Staff at register was friendly though.
