We had started working with Terry about 6 months before and had exchanged lots of emails and had met in person. All of the preparations left us knowing Terry was going to be great of the day and he was. It is great when you can "tick" something off your preparation list and have no doubt it's going to be great, and all you have to do now is look forward to the day and actually enjoy the ceremony. We are not religious, and in fact we were already married before the wedding, so really this part of the day could have just been a formality that you had to do, then everyone could get on with the fun parts of a wedding, like eating and drinking too much. The reality was Terry made his short part the focal point for the whole day. We had originally hoped that Terry would read our vows out, because neither of us likes speaking in public, but on the day before, Terry let us know that he thought it best if we read them out as they were so personal. This was a bit of a shock, but in the end, Terry was right, we agreed, and it really made a big impact. The ceremony was funny, serious, meaningful and special. It was a pleasure working with Terry. Like others have said, we really hope we don't have to use Terry again as this marriage is forever :-) but I would give him the highest recommendation to anyone looking for a wedding officiant for their special day.

I found Adrienne via a Facebook Bay Area Brides group - I had listed an ISO post for a day-of-coordinator and she was the many that responded to my post. I interviewed at least 10 different coordinators and after reviewing how each interview went and their price points, I decided to move forward with Adrienne. I appreciated that her accepted method of payment was via credit card as many had asked to be paid via venmo/zelle. In our first meeting, Adrienne, although based in Santa Cruz area, kindly drove up to us in San Jose to meet at a cafe near our home. We started working on the initial skeleton of our timeline during this meeting and continued to work on the timeline in the months coming up to the wedding. We had planned to go to the venue together a week or two prior to the wedding to meet with one of the coordinators from the venue but unfortunately, I got COVID the day right before the meeting. Adrienne still went in person for us both and familiarized herself with the venue since it was her first time working there. Things I had tasked for Adrienne on the wedding weekend/wedding day included putting out all my centerpieces (as my florist was my aunt, so she needed assistance), putting out all my menu frames, table numbers, votive candles, floating candles in hurricane vases, arranging my welcome table, handling my dessert deliveries throughout the event and setting up the dessert table, managing all 20+ members of my bridal party, all while ensuring the event went according to our planned timeline! Adrienne was so effective in her work and she made it look so easy! I would recommend Adrienne and Serenity Events Co. to any of my friends or family looking for a day of coordinator!

It was giving Vegas day club. :-) We wanted to change the timing on our processional and grand entrance songs and they were able to loop and cut those no problem, even when we asked the day before the wedding. They use a custom wedding planning & music curation app that easily allowed us to upload the exact version of music we wanted from Spotify/ Youtube/ SoundCloud for all parts of our ceremony and reception and write notes that we wanted them to pay attention to. It was really easy to navigate! Winston checked in on us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process and had a few meetings with us. So easy to work with and so nice! He was able to understand the vibe we were going for quickly. Wedding day, everything went smoothly, sound was great, and he was a great emcee as well. The photobooth strips weren't the best quality as the photos and graphics were pixelated; the photos in each strip were also misaligned. There was also a moment the month of the wedding where our contact person was on vacation and we didn't hear back from the team for over a week.
