He came early to get the project done and stayed late to ensure the job was done right the first time. Since this was a State Farm referral, I will keep them on my list of contractors for future repair and remodel projects. This is a privately owned construction company and been around the Bay Area for 50 years. I took away one star for the estimator, Chiara. I wasn't impressed with our rushed appointment. If you're going to inspect a job, please consider the following: - Don't make me wait an extra 45 minutes for our scheduled appointment - Answer all my questions before I feel comfortable about signing the agreement forms. - Don't rush off to your next appointment and make it obvious. She didn't even thank me nor wrap up our inspection on a good note. It felt like a "wham bam thank you Sam" moment.

This review is long overdue. I contracted Mike a few years ago to remodel my master bath into my…read moredream bath. This was after getting 3 quotes. I decided to go with Mike not because he had a reasonable quote (which he did) but because he was so incredibly detail minded. I was very specific on what I wanted but I must admit I was incredibly busy with work travel so was out of pocket most of those few weeks the work was to be done. One example of Mike's attention to detail was on the tile work trim. The tiler had used the same grout as the white main tiles for the trim but as he got to know my style he didn't think I would be happy with the results so he called me immediately and sent me photos. I confirmed right away I didn't like it and it was re-done to my liking. How awesome is that?? Needless to say I got my dream bath and in fact I am fairly certain it was the selling factor when we decided to move. Check out my photo I think you'd agree it is fabulous work. Needless to say I asked Mike to remodel my new fixer upper. I am sure it was no easy task since he had to do this in 3 phases because we needed to move in just 4 weeks after construction started so he had to block out a portion of the home for us. He kept the same attention to detail as he did with the bath. I was always comfortable with his and his team's work as I got continuous progress reports and pictures. On the rare occasion there was a miscommunication it was addressed immediately. Mike was very good in helping us make decisions as we had to move quickly on just about everything and we did not have an architect/designer holding our hands all along the way (I had limited architect services which is the only thing I would do differently in the future). After a successful 3 phase rebuild of our home, I had Mike come back yet again to build a beautiful patio overhang for our backyard. It has made our backyard THE destination for our family this past summer and we couldn't be happier with the work! I trust Mike fully and would recommend him to anyone that is looking to remodel their home. He takes great pride in his work and treats his customers with outstanding service.

Owner Izik immediately encouraged us to pull a proper permit, then patiently navigated the City of Sunnyvale's lengthy permitting process by supplying all the required documentation -- which gave us tremendous confidence from the start. What truly set them apart was how much they cared beyond their scope of work. They painted all the soffits and fascia throughout the entire complex for a unified look, caught and replaced vents that needed attention, and proactively fixed numerous other issues that weren't even their responsibility. Foreman Wilmer was always approachable, smiled through every site visit, and had great answers to every concern I raised. Izik was equally patient with all our questions and requests. If you're looking for a contractor who genuinely goes above and beyond, look no further than TGI Builder. Highly recommend!

A project this large and with so many different elements can easily get overwhelming, but they were thorough, thoughtful, and provided expert guidance to keep everything moving forward. The quality of their work is top-tier, and they were also very fair and transparent when it came to pricing. I'd highly recommend TGI Builders for any remodel project.

From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Ron, was exceptional throughout the project. He was always available whenever we had questions or wanted to discuss changes, and he was very flexible in accommodating our requests. What we especially appreciated was his ability to suggest practical and cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or the overall look we wanted to achieve. He listened carefully to our feedback and made sure our expectations were met at every stage. One of the more challenging parts of our project was adding a new window with the proper permits. We had approached multiple vendors and contractors before without finding a good solution. Ron and the team went above and beyond to help us navigate the process, obtain the necessary permits, and ultimately make it happen. Also replaced tub with a walk-in shower in secondary bathroom. The quality of the work and finishes has been impressive. The bathrooms turned out beautiful and were exactly what we had visualized--if not better. We were also particularly impressed with Aldo, who worked extensively on the project. He is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident throughout the finished space. Overall, what stood out to us was the team's commitment to finding solutions and making our vision a reality. Ron made the entire process much easier with his responsiveness, flexibility, and focus on customer satisfaction, while Aldo and the team delivered excellent craftsmanship.
