After researching and talking to close friends who used various companies, we decided to confirm with Careful Movers. They are not the cheapest, but they by far exceeded our expectations during our move. Starting with my inquiry, Mat, our Moving Consultant, was quick to respond and very patient in answering all my questions. Securing our moving date and processing our deposit were smooth processes. Leading up to our move date, Shenna called and emailed with reminders for any last-minute tasks and collected information so our moving team knew exactly what we needed on the date. On moving day, we had a crew of 3 movers: Enrique, Ismael, and Jose/Luis. They were punctual and arrived at our apartment right on time to get started on our move. After walking them through our apartment, discussing expectations, and signing the agreement, they went to work. This team was quick, and I mean QUICK, to disassemble and pack the truck. However, this does not mean they were sloppy by any means. Everything from our baby's furniture to our 75-inch TV was packed with the utmost care. Despite the rain, all of our belongings arrived safely at our new rental and were reassembled exactly as we asked. My husband and I are extremely happy with the services provided by this team and Careful Movers. We wouldn't hesitate to schedule with them again or refer them!

Accidents happen and with the Flying House Movers you'll only get the run around to resolving it. In addition to my marble top missing, they damaged: my dining table, office desk, headboard, and scratched the frame of a painting. I played the fool and initially thought they had done a great job, so much so that I bought the movers lunch on both days and tipped them very generously. If you want to use this moving company, be prepared and check all your items immediately and report them to Stan, he will take a long time getting back to you and then come up with excuses for the delays. So I knew no matter how long the move took and with the long distances, I already knew how much the max cost would be up front with no surprises. And they also offer a discount based on the way you paid them. WINNING! And so, I didn't use Pure Moving just once, but three times this month. The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! Nothing crazy... it happens Took one start because I would appreciate to understand the tip expectations a head .. instead we were asked by the movers to tip.. since we didnt know we gave them something and then they call us cheap lol...so then we gave them 100 per mover.. which was like 20% Nothing against tipping and yes they were good and it was deserved, but it was awkward.. nice gesture if the company would have shared expectation ahead or include it in the quote. I would definitely recommend this place to folks, but recommend to the company to share tip expectations as people dont move often and are not familiar of what is customary.. thats all.
