It's packed with unique clothes, designer bags and tons of gifts. You can also pick up anything from socks, candles, mugs and coasters to baby clothes, beanies, dish wear and serving spoons. My mom loves coming here for my Christmas gifts and I am never anything less than overjoyed. Not that I am ungrateful, but I am pretty picky with clothes and I'd say I am tough to shop for. Man does that feel good to get off my chest. Some of my favorite finds/gifts throughout the years have been a Rebecca Minkoff bag and sweater and a few really unique pieces of jewelry. I've been coming here since I was in high school so the actual is a lot longer than that. Most of their stuff is on the pricier side but they do have occasional sales so maybe keep an eye out for one of their holiday markdowns or sample sales. I stop in when I am back in town every once in a while and don't always end up buying something but love just looking around. The owner is sweet and helpful and now that they have a new location, the dressing room is really comfortable. Stop in and look around. I always feel good when I walk into this shop, even if there's nothing I like or the things I like…read moredon't fit. It's a cozy layout, three stories, which keeps it interesting and unique and not like your average clothing store. I can't say I love all the clothes they tend to sell - many are just not my style - but they have lots of Free People and other trendier pieces on the third floor. The women who work there are soooo friendly, although I have to say, I'm a shopper who prefers to be left alone and seek help when I need it, so having an attendant shadow me about the place is the one annoying part of a visit here. I get it - they're going for a personalized shopping experience - that's just not the way I like to shop (it almost makes me feel like they're keeping an eye on me so I don't shoplift ). Any time I come to Clinton I have to pop in, and then I go across the street for a coffee. As I said, it's a fun shop to check out!

I am a regular customer and not once has the proprietor recognized me, said hello, or even helped with my selection, or sale. Fast forward to yesterday, my two girlfriends and I are in shopping, trying to cheer up one of us who recently had breast cancer surgery. One of us spent over $200, in front of the owner, and gave the bag to the other and said, "Happy Cancer." In reciprocation, friend with cancer bought two mugs that said, "Kindness." Again, gave them out, in front of owner, and thanked us. We left, and right outside the shop, while looking for car keys, one of us dropped mug and it broke. Owner refused to give a new mug. One of us went in and asked again, and owner said no. Bad business, right? Another goes in, and owner relented, with tears in her eyes, saying she can't absorb the lost. What about the loss of 3 customers? Owner then hands cash and I said, "Maybe this kindness will come back to you. Thank you." And she said, "I have long ago given up on that happening." I got home, and realized the mugs were $36 and she only gave back $28. Something is very off here. Never again.

What i love most about this place is that a portion of sales goes back into the community. Whenever it's the local schools or to senior centers or families in need. So not only are we saving money & saving landfills but we're also helping out.
