I always feel good when I walk into this shop, even if there's nothing I like or the things I like don't fit. It's a cozy layout, three stories, which keeps it interesting and unique and not like your average clothing store. I can't say I love all the clothes they tend to sell - many are just not my style - but they have lots of Free People and other trendier pieces on the third floor. The women who work there are soooo friendly, although I have to say, I'm a shopper who prefers to be left alone and seek help when I need it, so having an attendant shadow me about the place is the one annoying part of a visit here. I get it - they're going for a personalized shopping experience - that's just not the way I like to shop (it almost makes me feel like they're keeping an eye on me so I don't shoplift ). What a wonderful little gem in Clinton! My wife and I went for lunch in Clinton and stumbled upon this store. A great selection of one of a kind items that you won't find anywhere else. Lisa, who assisted my wife was most attentive and knowledgeable. An absolute pleasure to work with. Prices were very reasonable for what we purchased, 2 gorgeous dresses complete with stunning accessories. I just came back from here with my wife. This is our second time there. She loves the cloths and shoes there. Truly and excellent store with an amazing selection. The jeans are amazing. I saw that one reviewer gave it one star. That is simply wrong. This is a boutique store that will give you VIP treatment and help you put a fabulous outfit together. If you want to be ignored and want to buy ordinary cloths then by all means...go to Macy's. On the other hand if you want to be treated like a Princess for a day...this is your daisy. Another reviewer found the layout overwhelming. Again, a ridiculous complaint. The layout is fine. How hard can it be to just look around and try things on? Two thumbs wayyyyy up! read more

Nice store, great clothes. The staff are like vultures swooping down on prey. High pressure sales, difficult to say no. The return policy is very strict, only 2 weeks to return with receipt for store credit only. I found out the hard way, there are no signs stating this but it is written in tiny print on the receipt. The sales person did not tell me, if she had I would have thought long and hard before I bought a $160.00 blouse for a wedding. read more

I have been coming to Addicted for years. It's my guilty pleasure. I do believe in the comments above the ladies are confusing helpfulness with pressuring. This is a boutique not a department store. The things that make them different is the workers. The woman want to help you get what you are looking for. They also have helped me several times by suggesting clothing I would have never picked off the shelf and I ended up loving it. If you are looking for a department store feeling don't go here. The woman are friendly and helpful. And the clothing and jewelry and let's not forget the shows are Amazeballs!!!!! read more

Amazing staff, Annie and her team of stylists give you one on one professional attention. Gorgeous sweaters, cool boots, classy dresses or funky jean; 3 floors of designer casual and dressy options. It's hard to find great style all in one place , but this store has it!! They offer ideas you would never ever think to put together and lots of options. I would shop for hours for a pair of jeans at the mall and get nothing, here they will find a pair that is a perfect fit! read more

I felt so taken advantage of due to a recent purchase. I was looking for a dress for a party I will be going to, and found one with the assistance of the ladies working in the store. I was really "on the fence" about this particular dress, but asked if I purchased it, could I return it if my husband was not crazy about it. They ALL insisted I could return it. NO ONE TOLD ME I COULD RETURN IT FOR ONLY A STORE CREDIT! It cost me over $300 and I was only able to get store credit! If I knew that I NEVER would have purchased this dress. When I came back 2 days later, the store attendant showed me the sign by the register (I neglected to read initially)and only offered me store credit. I hit the roof! Before this I really appreciated the help these ladies gave me, although they were VERY pushy with merchandise. I spent over $600. I would have only given them 1 star, but the reason for 2 is that they do have some fabulous clothing for women "of a certain age" although quite overpriced. BUYER BEWARE! read more

I completely agree with the previous reviewer. It's a nice store, but I really dislike being "tailed" when I'm shopping. Maybe they are just trying to be attentive to my needs, but it makes me feel like they think I'm going to shoplift. And they are too pushy about the merchandise. They might as well put some things in a bag, give it to me, and take the money out of my wallet. I feel like they're not going to let me leave unless I buy something. read more

I returned a pair of shoes that fell a part after the first wearing. They gave store credit which was fine, however, when I went to buy another item with my store credit they almost didn't let me use it! They told be that the vendor would not take them back because we had purposely ruined them and therefore they had to eat the money for them. After stating that we have a credit and they need to give it to us or give us the cash they sold us the item and gave it to us in a cheap plastic bag. They also said that they do not want us ever in their store again. The staff is rude and very pressuring to buy multiple items. We were also looking for pants for work and keep showing up leggings instead of tailored pants. The owner even said she did not understand what tailored pants were. read more

The staff at this store is quite annoying and pushy. I want a shopping interaction with a real human being, not just someone trying to sell me a million things. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand that it's your job, I also work and buy for a small boutique, but helpfulness and honesty translate a lot better than someone throwing a million styles at you that you hate and they keep telling you they look "SO CUTE!" And please don't follow me around the whole store, I came in to shop with the intention of buying something, I don't need to be hawked and followed. read more

sometimes you can find some neat stuff in here. i do not understand the layout, to me it seems too chaotic and overwhelming. if someone went through and visually re-merchandised it and set out fewer items of clothing/shoes/etcetera it would be much easier to shop through. i am writing this review having not gone in a couple of months because i must be honest, i have wanted to go in here on numerous occasions but have avoided going in because i do not like to be overwhelmed or attacked by sales people. this is coming from the perspective of a girl who in college was a sales associate at high end boutiques in a large city... please take it from this perspective... i understand the need to make money and want your store to do well, but it is very displeasing to be asked: "ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF?" "THESE NEW JEANS WOULD LOOK SO CUTE ON YOU!" "HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT THIS NEW JEWELRY?" all within the course of five minutes. please, please please. do not pressure people. they will end up leaving! read more

I want to support this business because it is a local store and they honestly do have great clothes. I avoid going in there, though, because the sales people are so incredibly obnoxious. Every time before going in (which has been 3-4 times in the last 3 years), I take a deep breath and rehearse how I am going to get them to leave me alone. I keep hoping they read these reviews. The last time I was in there I had every intention of buying a couple pairs of $100 jeans and a shirt or two. I left without buying anything because they just would not leave me alone and kept trying to push styles on me I clearly stated I did not want (bejeweled jeans that are clearly not age appropriate for me). Each time they ask, "shall I grab you a size 4" which is obsurd. I am so obviously not a size 4- it is insulting. They are so aggravating. My teenaged daughter wants to go in today to look for jeans...we will probably drive to the mall instead. read more
