Customer service definitely needs to be brushed up on at this current location. I came here to get a quote on how much it would cost to get my car fix. Front desk asked me if it was gonna be through insurance, said yes and immediately informed me that they can't give quote without insurance claim, which is fair. Then i asked if i wasn't going through insurance can i still get a quote, and the answer she and her colleague gave me was still a no with some other bs answer. Then the gentleman that was there finally gave me a "estimate quote" after asking multiple time for a quote with out an insurance claim. It just sounded like they didn't want my business. After all, it is one bumper! It may have been a misunderstanding. However, service could have gone a little more, that extra mile, to satisfy a customer. My neighbor bumped into my car and damaged the rear fender. I asked if they wanted to pay out of pocket and not get the insurance involved, they said ok. I went to Caliber Collision and I told them it would be out of pocket. They gave me a quote: Remove the bumper, CHECK FOR UNDERLYING DAMAGE, repaint the entire bumper, replace the bumper guard, remove and replace the fender trim. $2420.08. I told the neighbor, they said it would have to go through their insurance, GEICO. When I dropped off the car I explained to them that it now needed to go through GEICO. I also explained that they had repaired this car before (when a different driver hit me). I explained that the color never matched from their first repair, and could they do a better job this time? Sure, they said, we will take care of it. As it turns out, once it was a GEICO repair and not out of pocket the repair got dumbed down, fix the scratch, spot paint the area, new GEICO price? $1430.66 Color still doesn't match, new fender trim piece doesn't fit properly. I pointed out the defects and they said I could make a new appointment, and they would try again. I feel deceived and ultimately cheated. What happened to the underlying damage? Gone with a GEICO repair I guess. What a pain. read more

I've been a customer of this shop well before they were called Caliber. The first thing I will always notice first is the office staff. I have always felt welcome and never felt like just a customer. Heather, Julie, Tim and Jessica are fantastic to deal with. The vibe in the office is always positive. No one ever wants to have to go to a body shop but they are my go to! Even though they are busy they're always thorough with me and walk me through all steps! And they quickly and professionally handle any issues even tho those are rare. Our insurance sent us here and at first they were very responsive and communicated status of claim. Picked up the car on a Friday and I specifically asked about my rear camera because it had stopped working after the accident. Was told a multi level diagnostic had been done. Mysteriously a parking assist engaged (never used it) and camera is not working. Called on Monday, told to bring it in at noon for tech to check. Showed up, no tech. No call back. Called Weds and told bring it in within an hour. Husband brought it in and was told it was not caused by accident and not their responsibility. Insurance was billed $6k for a minor front end damage and car isn't right. Horrible. read more

A few weeks ago, a delivery truck backed in to my car, damaging my bumper and hood. Figures that would happen during a global pandemic...I was able to settle a claim through the other driver's insurance and had to research where to take my car (they sent me a check, allowing me to choose my repair shop. Caliber made it super easy to look at the repair estimate, provide guidance on timing for repairs and kept the interactions safe and contact free. I worked with Heather on my consultation and she was awesome-very communicative and my car was done right when they said they would have it. The repairs look great and they sterilized the interior of my car before I picked it up. Caliber made everything easy during an especially stressful time. They're following all social distancing protocols, have sanitizer readily available and have amazing, friendly staff. As soon as I walked into the building I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist and offered coffee until my appt with Koop. Koop was very nice and went over everything that would have to be done to my car. He was spot on how long it would take to have my car completed. Even though they don't normally specialize in radios, Tim at Caliber Collision was eager to help me out, giving me a prompt appointment, helping me order the right replacement, and speaking with his boss Charlie, who spent significant time figuring out how to install the radio himself, just so I wouldn't have to be delayed by going to a second shop. In fact, I liked the speed, quality and friendliness of their service so much, I brought my car back in the next week to get a flush mount for the radio's USB drive and a backup camera installed, which they finished in under a day. If I could give zero stars I honestly would. They recently went through a transition from Cooks Collision to Caliber and as with any transition it takes some time to work out the kinks. That said, they have what appears to be no quality control in place, a lack of customer service and follow through and honestly no real apparent urgency to resolve customer issues. I had what amounted to some routine scratches and a dent on the side of my vehicle and the rep I worked with appeared a bit unsure of himself. He couldn't locate where the replacement product for the door jam was at or when it would come in. They had a difficult time providing a timeline of how long it would take, then ended up receiving the wrong part and didn't notice until I was in the shop for the final repair. Total time from initial estimate until getting the vehicle to its original condition was a few months. Side note it's still not done and I'm hesitant to leave this but want others to be informed. I hate to write a poor review as I am a face to face type of person that would rather work through concerns directly with that small business but this was/is the worst experience I have endured and a text book lesson of what not to do from a customer service standpoint. Not to mention the cost of the repair. We all have options and I would highly recommend choosing any other service provider for your vehicles collision needs. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!! read more
