My car was involved in a hit and run when I wasn't using it. My insurance company recommended I use Caliber Collision for repairs. This place is super helpful and the staff were tremendous. Today is my 3rd at the shop, excellent service as always. I have been a customer since 2019. Their quality of service keeps improving each time. It was a long holiday weekend, my rental car service was super busy. Manager Reuben took me to there during his busy schedule, so save me 45 mins wait. They sent me updates each day since I drop off my car with then. Jojo helped to coordinate with the team and was able to get everything done sooner. Accident happens but I am grateful they are able to help me get back on track with minimum stress each time. read more

Wowwwww! Now THIS is great service!!! After my car was damaged by the location in Mountain View (an associate ran my car into a wall) I came to this location to have additional work done as I did not feel comfortable going back to Mountain View. The manager here, Jason, was so friendly. He and his team went above and BEYOND to make sure my car looked as good as new! Would definitely not only be back, but recommend as well! Pics show great interior detail and wash/wax that the other location did NOT provide. read more

This was my first experience with these guys. The car turned out ok, but it cost me way too much. I have a 500 deductable with my jnsurance, that should have been enough. My car was by even inspected, and the estimate sent in, for almost a week after it was brought in. The entire job took over a month to get completed, and as of writing this there is still a part missing. Because it took so long my insurance stopped covering the car rental. I did end up absorbing an additional 150 for that. As of today there is a piece of trim still missing, apparently it's on back order. I've had the car back for almost 2 weeks now. read more

Recently brought down my 2023 Nissan Rogue when it got hit while parked. I let them know right away that there was a left drift on the steering as my wheel was smashed in. Besides this there was only some minor cosmetic damage to the front left fender and door. When I picked up the car today it looked magnificent like it was brand new. HOWEVER, when I drove my car home, it was the same as when I brought it in. To drive straight you still have to steer to the right. 3 warnings lights were also still on. The gentleman that was helping us was very nice, but he said that the alignment "passed with flying colors". I don't know if he was lying or just didn't know how bad it was. Either way, they didn't actually fix my car. Now I have to bring it into another shop as I've lost all faith with this company, as they either lie to you, or don't check everything on your vehicle. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. read more

Brought my car in for rear door dent and rear quarter panel dent. Walter helped me and was very quick to answer all my questions. I was most worried that the repair would be difficult but he made sure to notify me of every step of the process and finished my car repair faster than the estimated time quoted. Awesome guy! and shout out to the repair guys as well! Would definitely recommend! read more

Where do I even begin? Don't even consider another body shop. I was so upset when I damaged the rear quarter panel of my beautiful BMW M4 and decided to take it to Caliber due to their reputation for the highest quality repairs... Let me tell you THEY DO NOT DISAPPOINT! The entire experience was A+ from start to finish. I dropped my car off and Walter took wonderful care of me. He handled the paperwork flawlessly and made sure I was comfortable while they called the rental company to pick me up! He kept me up to date on all the progress and delivered my car back to me as promised and in perfect condition. Walter and the staff at Caliber Collision of Sunnyvale are really looking out for their clients and make sure your car is returned to you looking like it did when it rolled out of the factory. He even detailed the exterior and made my car shine! I can't say enough great things about this repair shop!! Thank you Caliber!! read more

I recently had an accident with my Tesla Model S60 and took it to Caliber Collision for the repairs. I was pleased to see that Caliber gave the ultimate service for my car. Especially for my Tesla, being an all electric sedan with cutting edge battery technology, Caliber Collision was right on track with what was needed to fix my car. Ruben Higareda, Manager of the site, presented white glove service and made me feel that my car was in good hands. When I got my car back it looked and drove better than it had before I took it in! I would highly recommend Caliber Collision as they know how to step it up and provide "Top Notch" customer service. Oscar helped me replaced the spare tire very fast and declined the tips. Big applause to Veronica, Lily and Oscar! Thank you so much!! read more

I think this shop should only be used if there is a progressive claim. My claim started as a progressive claim but due to a limit issue I had to bring in my insurance. Overall every step was delayed a lot and I had to call daily to follow up. Both insurance companies responded in hours. Every day I was given the same status like the car would go on a lift and an additional supplemental damage would be I sent to the insurance. After 10 days I went to their office and told them that the status was not changing and they responded that is it not their concern as it is a different insurance that they need to work with. When I pointed out that my hey would not care but I do care as I do not have a car for 20 days they got defensive and told me that there is not response they want to provide. I asked for the manager and he came and immediately told me to leave or he will call the police. It was a very word experience as they have my car and I cannot contact them about my car. Luckily I had worked with a different caliber collision in milpitas who are approved by Allstate. The agent there was helpful and I asked if I could transfer my car to them. She called the Sunnyvale location and soon after the insurance ciomoany said I could pick my car up. I had it towed to a different repair shop. Definetely one of my worst experiences. At one point I was concerned about what they might do. Their manager was very rude and the overall caliber collision did not seem to have any corporate office i could call. read more

I chose Caliber Collision because it was a State Farm affiliate ( State Farm spotted the cost of repair ) , and brought in my car for a tail light replacement. Bryan Flores was accommodating, communicative, and an overall fantastic person to work with. The car was repaired on schedule and I was updated regularly on its progress. The repair was top notch - I couldn't distinguish between the new and old paint, and the tail light looked great. I had to come in a second time for a warning light malfunction that I thought was part of the accident. It turned out to be independent of the accident, yet it was still repaired, and Bryan had my headlights polished and the car washed a second time free of charge. Bryan and Caliber Collision went above and beyond with their service, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an auto body shop. read more

Got a quote for repairing deep paint scratches from here a few years back. Their price was jacked up by over 1/3rd what I was quoted for by other shops with unnecessary work with items including welding parts of the frame. It is so disappointed how coming over to this shop we are treated the way we did. First of all is so wrong how we asked for the manager, who showed up to talk to us in a horrible manner not acting like a manager. Walter Alfaro, the gm was no helpful at all. Leaving a client talking to him is the most disrespectful way to treat anyone. They took so long to do an evaluation. Telling us we do not know anything about his job (it's true, but as professionals they should've explains every detail) something that was never done. It is the worst service we've got. The front desk lady Karen was more understandable and kind to explain to us everything, this gm like I mention just left us there with out carrying nothing but to leave us talking to him. I don't care who is paying for my damages, is the way he treats people ( our us in the moment). He state that what ever he explained, his boss was going to do the same. My question is. Is he not going to explain to us and just walk away? What type of costumer services is this? I am sure they won't even respond to my review. How disappointed that he is a Latino and couldn't even respect other Latinos. It's so unfortunate because we didn't received the help nor the explanation from someone above. read more

Brought in my car on March 4th for body work due to a collision. Dropped off my car with Walter Alfaro and we began to discuss all my concerns and rental possibilities. One thing I thought was interesting, they essentially asked for a positive review on day 1 and I said this "I'll make you a deal, you do a good job, and I'll write you a review you deserve." Walter immediately said "deal! That's easy!" Well, apparently not. Since my rental company only provides 20 days worth of a rental, I was a little worried due to the damage to my vehicle and the extensiveness of my repairs. Walter assured me things would be ok and that if anything caused my car to take longer than 30 days, Caliber Collision would provide me with a rental car. Awesome right? Well keep reading. Walter contacted me after a week saying that there was some structural damage and as such he would like to transfer my WRX to their Milpitas location which has a Subaru specialist. That made sense to me, so I agreed. Last week the Milpitas location informed me that they received an incorrect part and that the correct part is back ordered till the end of May. I said, no worries, now let's talk about that rental. Instead of a rental till the work is complete, they offered me a rental for 5 days. That's 20 days less than the expected completion date. I spoke to my rep at Milpitas and the rep Walter Alfaro at Sunnyvale. The rep in Milpitas said they can't offer what Walter offered me in Sunnyvale since it was not their fault that the part was back ordered. Well, just for reference there, it's also not my fault the part is back ordered. So I figured, I'll contact the original representative who promised me a rental. Walter said that now that it's at the other location, I have to deal with their GM to negotiate a rental. Ummmmm what? Maybe you should have mentioned that before transferring my car somewhere else. This left me quite perturbed so I contacted my insurance company. They contacted the rep Walter Alfaro and he said that I was lying and that he never told me that they would provide a rental car for that long. What a way to go back on your word and speak ill of an existing customer. Needless to say, they completely screwed me. I still have to go to work, and now i have to fit the bill for what they promised me? What a complete joke. If that wasn't enough, I double checked with my new rep in Milpitas about several concerns i had mentioned with my first representative Walter Alfaro, and it turns out that they didn't even communicate. Walter never once discussed my 3 biggest concerns to the shop he was transferring my car to. Thankfully I reached out and addressed them with the new representative, but that should have been one of the first things they communicated. Like "hey, just FYI the customer is really worried about _________. Please make sure you address it since he clearly mentioned it to me on day 1." What I think is funny about all this, I avoided the Mountain View location because they had several negative reviews about their customer service. So I actually drove further to a location with better reviews. Looks like I was overly hopeful. I will NEVER bring my car back to this Sunnyvale location and I hope that Walter Alfaro is held accountable for his actions. read more

After being quoted high with over a week of downtown for repairs, at every other body shop I went to, I came into Caliber Collison. My car was quoted same day, and returned to me with superb work done, within 3 business days after drop off. I was impressed by this place from the first visit. This is definitely a high quality shop that does excellent work. His customer service skills puts him ahead of the rest & he always goes that extra mile to ensure my complete satisfaction. No one else cars about the finished products as much as this good man does. He's simply cut from a different cloth & it shows in the way he treats everyone. I've always been highly satisfied with the paint work he delivers his level of professionalism in this often crowded industry is rare in itself as well. We have a 2017 Corolla IM. It's the first year that these cars have been manufactured as a merged Scion IM and Corolla. I would imagine that is why some of these parts were on back order. The manager was nice enough to give us a gift card to cover some of the extra expenses because it took longer than expected to get the car back.In the end, Jose was very accommodating and the car looked great! Well, this started out as a rocky interaction. Their hours are 7:30a-5:30p. When I called to see when I could bring my car in, (either before or after work, ie: 7:30a or 5:00p) he said they have a meeting daily at 8:00am. So they couldn't take my car, or talk to me before that, because they would essentially have to wrap up any estimates they were making or any conversations, to rush to their team meeting. I'm all for training but when I was trying to arrange a time to just drop my car off (insurance is dealing with repairs, so why do they need me, except to say, "take it away boys"?) he told me they don't even do drop offs. He said I would have to make an appointment, yet not really working with me for a time i can come in. Their latest appointments are 4:30, he said. Since this was all over the phone, I got frustrated as he sat in silence, waiting for me to say, "Oh I'll take some time off work" or some other adjustment. I literally had to tell him: "work with me here!" He then conceded that I could drop off my car with anyone at the desk in the morning (7:30am) and they would take care of doing an estimate later, email it to me, and deal with repairs that way. I said that was perfectly fine, since insurance is paying for it anyway. Charge as much as you want, just do the repairs. HOWEVER, (of course) it was a different story when I showed up in the morning. Kevin was who greeted me (I am suspicious he was the same person I talked to on the phone) and stuck to their guns of "we have to take the pictures and write up an estimate *right now.*" I had a rental car set up through insurance as well, and they were scheduled to pick me up at 7:45 or so. Kevin still started the paperwork, which took an amazingly long time. I wasn't done/signed/walking out until 8:14am - when I showed up promptly at 7:30am. Interestingly enough the owner was out in the front, helping another couple that has almost the same situation with their car - claim emailed over, they called the day before, they wanted to just drop off the care - they even took pictures and signed the estimate before I was even done with my stuff, and they showed up around 7:50 or so? 10 minutes in-and-out? All of that said and done, Kevin was very friendly/cordial. He said they would stay in touch, they would contact me with any updates, so I even know how long my car is being worked on. That's great, and I appreciated it, however the final forms that needed to be filled out ask "how would you like to be contacted?" Text, and email is what I selected. I got plenty of text updates, which was helpful, but they did also call me - which I couldn't answer. Maybe just a lapse of observation there. Caliber has plenty of signs that they prioritize customer satisfaction, they are certified, diamond whatever, insurance recommended, (I didn't see my insurance company there though, ha) all the good stuff to *look* really official. They also do put out free (?) coffee. The guy who was cleaning/setting out the coffee left the door to the bathroom open however and oh my. It did not make their reception area smell good... When my car was done was when they really redeemed themselves. I couldn't make it to the shop before 5:30, but he said they have a convenient drop off/return process. The rental car can be left at the shop, and all I needed to do was sign the forms and leave them that I approved of the work, and that insurance was going to pay. My car so far looks good - it looks like they cleaned it (the front half at least?) and washed the outside. The driver side mirror is what they replaces, and they matched the original color of my car perfectly. The mirror works well, moves when requested, the normal functionality. The cleaning was a nice touch. There was only one mat on the floor though (passenger side) which I founds strange so there are a few things that they overlook. We'll see if anything else happens. They also come with a lifetime warranty, which is not something most shops offer. Aside from the original attempt to drop off my car (I honestly think that e-signing would be much easier, particularly for their customers that have insurance handling their repairs), they took care of things quickly - within a week or so. It helped that trading cars was so simple, but their Customer Service could use slight work - their manager has it down, so maybe they do need their daily training meetings. read more
