My door got clipped and this is where the insurance sent me. I was generally familiar with this location, but this is the first time I have actually been here. In all, this seems to be an excellent location and their work appears to be pretty top notch. I really liked the text updates and the service in the office was decently good. I know body shops like this can sometimes seem a bit shaky, but everything here seemed to be working right. If I were to say anything was "bad", it was that they took a little more time on my car than expected. I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon because I was going out of town for a week. They quoted me the time that it was going to be ready about 13 days later. That seemed a bit excessive and I had to go and get a rental. Insurance covered that and their partner Enterprise was also pretty awesome. The work was actually done in 8 days which was nice! The only other problem was that the inside of the car smelled like paint for about 4 days. It has finally is gone. Not sure if they could do anything about it, but it was slightly annoying. Even with these "bad" problems, the car was fixed and painted to near perfection. That was all that I expected from my insurance repair. I would keep them in mind for next time if it comes to it! Great work! read more

Caliber Collision was one of the options to choose from through my insurance. They did an excellent job on my car. Bob and the body shop provided balanced communication until my car repair was complete on the day they said it would be. Johnathan provided a quick turnaround in getting my car to me, which looked brand new, quality of workmanship shows. I highly recommend this shop. read more

I have gone to Caliber twice now and am so happy with their friendly service (on the phone and in person), great work on my car, and quick turnaround times. Today they "unbent" my car door in ten minutes and there was no charge. I absolutely recommend them! read more

Caliber Collision in Skokie, IL (Howard St.) by far exceeded my expectations! I was rear ended very recently, and took my car into Caliber after researching and reading previous reviews. While on the phone trying to schedule my appointment, came in contact with their front desk agent by the name of Declan. From day one he was truly amazing, and very informative about the process, and available with answers to any of my questions. To meet him in person was equally as pleasant. Top notch! Our Service Advisor Robert Blum was great! He kept us in the loop throughout the entire process with text messages and follow ups to keep us posted as to the progress of the work being done. Things that stand out and went above and beyond at Caliber/Skokie: 1. VERY friendly staff, great communication with us, clean facility 2. Was told the work would be done in 16 days, and was called in a day earlier than expected 3. Work on the car was AMAZING, looked like a brand new car in the lobby of a dealership!!! 4. It had been washed and shinny when we came to pick it up 5. LIFETIME warranty on the work done Very professional, extremely helpful shop! Would highly recommend this location for any repairs needed! Thanks Caliber for RESTORING THE RHYTHM OF MY LIFE!!!!! read more

The shop is immaculate. Each and every one of the staff are personable and customer service oriented. They keep you informed of the repair status of your vehicle several times per week. Their vehicle repairs are top of the line. You just can't beat that! read more

I am a total "car guy" and have give Caliber on Howard Street a well earned positive review before. Most recently, I brought my 2024 Cadillac Lyriq in for a minor repair. Since the work went easier than they anticipated, they billed me for less than their estimate! I expected and always received outstanding work and service from them but this was the first time it came at less than what I thought was a fair price for it. read more

Very easy to work with Caliber. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Good experience

Sorry, we were late for this review when we were out of the country. We took our Equinox to the shop a couple months ago. They provided the best and professional services to us. The front desk gentleman answered our call for scheduling an appointment quick and fast. The technician team fixed our car smoothly and did the most beautiful job. Communication was so perfect. When the job was done, the cleaning team was super nice. They cleaned both interior and exterior of my SUV. I was totally IMPRESSED how clean of the floor mats when we went to pick up our car. Highly recommend to anyone. read more

All service staff were very friendly and helpful . My vehicle was finished quickly and the work done was outstanding!! Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional experience I received at Caliber. Their whole process is seamless. They repaired my car faster than the quoted time. They even fixed some minor scratches without charge! The whole staff was super nice and accommodating. Given that it's a body repair shop, everything was immaculate. This is definitely my new go to body shop. read more

I got rear-ended on Christmas night of 2022. Although I decided to file a claim with my insurance company to take care of the repair cost, Caliber Collision's estimate was the least expensive quote out of three body shops in the area. The process with Caliber Collision Skokie was extremely professional. I tend to ask more questions than the average person, so I was surprised by how patient they were with me. My car was ready to pick up in just a few days. This body shop did two things that stood out from the rest - 1. They kept me updated with the work being done and when my car was ready for pick up via text message. I really appreciated that. And 2. They took my car to a car wash before handing it back to me (or at least that's what it seemed like). Thank you for an easy and smooth process from start to finish. read more

Someone rear-ended me and Caliber Collision was listed as a preferred vendor on my insurance app, so I set up an appointment and took the car in. Drop-off was easy, someone met me at the car after I pulled in, I waited in the nicely set up waiting room and gave some details to the front desk. 15 min later I got the estimate and some more info on what they found. Once I decided to have them do the work, they ordered the parts and called me to set up drop-off once everything was there. I got updates via text on the progress and the car was ready 2 days prior to the estimated pick-up date. I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and on top of their game and I appreciate that they confirmed having the parts before I dropped the car off. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend them. read more

The team at Caliber Collision was able to repair a scratch on my truck without an appointment and with excellent service. This is second time getting a repair and both times the team was professional, completed the work on time and within budget, and provided a completely hassle free experience. Would highly recommend this team for any body work on your vehicle. Special thanks to John for quick response on my last visit. read more

Outstanding care of our new Highlander that got hit. "Hew" did our initial meet and greet and then Ulices kept us updated. We got frequent text messages with updates and calls with any changes to the repair and amount. We highly recommend this location! They were very professional and explained everything in detail! When it came down to it, they got to know us and respected us.... Felt like family! read more

My first time getting my car repaired at a Caliber location and it couldn't have gone smoother! The staff is so friendly, and the building is very clean and accessible. They kept me updated on my cars repairs, and everything was done sooner than expected. They work with enterprise so you can have a rental car dropped off at the time you leave your car to get fixed. Hugh was very attentive and professional. Over all a great experience! read more

Excellent service from Hieu and the team. My front bumper was damaged during an accident on the freeway, and Caliber was able to order all the necessary parts, finish the job extremely quickly, and had very reasonable prices. They also take the time to answer all your questions and make sure you understand exactly what is being fixed. Very friendly and responsive staff, great customer service, I was very satisfied with my entire experience and would definitely recommend this place! read more

This place is great. I was so nervous at first, Ulises, Service Advisor, met me as I drove in and directed me to the front desk where I was pleasantly greeted and provided with all the information I needed. The whole experience was a lot less painful than I expected. They kept me abreast of the progress and they actually got done with my car a day sooner than anticipated. If you have the misfortune of breaking your car, this is the place to go. BTW car looks like new. read more

It has been about a year since my repair, so here's a quick update. Everything still looks great. No issues with any of the work or paint after going through a winter. Still satisfied! read more

I used to come to this location BEFORE it was Caliber and they were pretty good. So when I had a small issue I pulled in to see what they would say. My gas cap cover got ripped off in an automatic car wash and some of the tabs were bent. When I pulled in I was surprised how clean it was. Not that the old place was dirty but this was more like a dealership than an auto/body shop. They assessed the damage and tried to snap it back on with no luck. Then they heated it , straightened it and boom, it worked. I asked and they said no charge just keep them in mind when I have something more major. Customer service, 5* the only reason I gave them 4* is because I couldn't really judge their work but I will definitely go back and then hopefully I can revise to 5* Definitely worth a try read more
