My door got clipped and this is where the insurance sent me. I was generally familiar with this location, but this is the first time I have actually been here. In all, this seems to be an excellent location and their work appears to be pretty top notch. I really liked the text updates and the service in the office was decently good. I know body shops like this can sometimes seem a bit shaky, but everything here seemed to be working right. If I were to say anything was "bad", it was that they took a little more time on my car than expected. I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon because I was going out of town for a week. They quoted me the time that it was going to be ready about 13 days later. That seemed a bit excessive and I had to go and get a rental. Insurance covered that and their partner Enterprise was also pretty awesome. The work was actually done in 8 days which was nice! The only other problem was that the inside of the car smelled like paint for about 4 days. It has finally is gone. Not sure if they could do anything about it, but it was slightly annoying. Even with these "bad" problems, the car was fixed and painted to near perfection. That was all that I expected from my insurance repair. I would keep them in mind for next time if it comes to it! Sorry, we were late for this review when we were out of the country. We took our Equinox to the shop a couple months ago. They provided the best and professional services to us. The front desk gentleman answered our call for scheduling an appointment quick and fast. The technician team fixed our car smoothly and did the most beautiful job. Communication was so perfect. When the job was done, the cleaning team was super nice. They cleaned both interior and exterior of my SUV. I was totally IMPRESSED how clean of the floor mats when we went to pick up our car. I got rear-ended on Christmas night of 2022. Although I decided to file a claim with my insurance company to take care of the repair cost, Caliber Collision's estimate was the least expensive quote out of three body shops in the area. The process with Caliber Collision Skokie was extremely professional. I tend to ask more questions than the average person, so I was surprised by how patient they were with me. My car was ready to pick up in just a few days. This body shop did two things that stood out from the rest - 1. They kept me updated with the work being done and when my car was ready for pick up via text message. I really appreciated that. And 2. Someone rear-ended me and Caliber Collision was listed as a preferred vendor on my insurance app, so I set up an appointment and took the car in. Drop-off was easy, someone met me at the car after I pulled in, I waited in the nicely set up waiting room and gave some details to the front desk. 15 min later I got the estimate and some more info on what they found. Once I decided to have them do the work, they ordered the parts and called me to set up drop-off once everything was there. I got updates via text on the progress and the car was ready 2 days prior to the estimated pick-up date. I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and on top of their game and I appreciate that they confirmed having the parts before I dropped the car off. They kept me updated on my cars repairs, and everything was done sooner than expected. They work with enterprise so you can have a rental car dropped off at the time you leave your car to get fixed. Excellent service from Hieu and the team. My front bumper was damaged during an accident on the freeway, and Caliber was able to order all the necessary parts, finish the job extremely quickly, and had very reasonable prices. This place is great. I was so nervous at first, Ulises, Service Advisor, met me as I drove in and directed me to the front desk where I was pleasantly greeted and provided with all the information I needed. The whole experience was a lot less painful than I expected. They kept me abreast of the progress and they actually got done with my car a day sooner than anticipated. I used to come to this location BEFORE it was Caliber and they were pretty good. So when I had a small issue I pulled in to see what they would say. My gas cap cover got ripped off in an automatic car wash and some of the tabs were bent. When I pulled in I was surprised how clean it was. Not that the old place was dirty but this was more like a dealership than an auto/body shop. They assessed the damage and tried to snap it back on with no luck. Then they heated it , straightened it and boom, it worked. I asked and they said no charge just keep them in mind when I have something more major. Customer service, 5* the only reason I gave them 4* is because I couldn't really judge their work but I will definitely go back and then hopefully I can revise to 5* Definitely worth a try read more
