Unfortunately had to file an insurance claim for my 2022 Mercedes Benz GLC. Hit road debris on the 101 while they were tearing up the concrete. I'm a USAA member insured and have never had to file a claim in decades until this one. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to go to Penske which is a certified Mercedes Benz repair facility. Instead, I had to obtain low-budget repairs at Caliber Collision. And as expected did a shoddy job fixing my front bumper, and now all my sensors are inoperable. For me, it's back to the drawing board. Time off of work which, and renting a car again. This time I will pay out of pocket and have Penske Auto Collision fix it right. Went here get an estimate for my 2021 vehicle that was hit by a red-light runner who fled the scene after doing so. All the damage was to the front bumper, headlight and grills. Now you would think this would be simple task, but at Caliber Collision you would be wrong. From the moment I walked inside and they looked at my vehicle they seemed to take issue with my car. Asked me if it was going through insurance I said yes, and asked me to fill out their paperwork. So just as I started filling it out, a guy came out and stopped me, and said before you fill that out let's take a look at your car first to see what it needs. So I go out into the drive with him, and he starts out telling me that they do not like to work on cars that are modified. My car is wrapped. I explained that the damage was only to the front bumper; headlight and grills and I would remove the wrap. He just started making excuses. I said all I need is an estimate for them to repair my vehicle. He flat out refused to do so. still making excuses. I thanked him for wasting my time and left. This is a perfect example of what's wrong with the body repair industry today. My advice would be to go to someplace besides Caliber Collision to get your Vehicle repaired so you don't get your time wasted like I did. read more

In any large metro area the odds are that sometime unfortunately, you will be in the need of a body repair shop. If you do find yourself in that situation, head immediately to Calliber Collision. From the initial phone call and email I knew I was in good hands. Insurance suggested CC and am so grateful. John confirmed the appointment, and the initial review was fast and efficient. They were able to get me in and started the repair next day. They kept it for about a week or 10days and updated me every other day. Cannot stress how wonderful the team was. DO NOT go to this Caliber Collision location. It's a waste of your time. Go to the location on Raintree!!! The location on Hayden is extremely difficult to deal with and have horrible communication skills and lack professionalism. They told my insurance company false information and straight up lies that weren't even true. They never got back to me with my estimate until I had to reach out 1 week later when they told me it would only take a couple days. They are going out of their way to be difficult and tell me they don't have openings for the repairs until January which isn't even true because the estimator told me 2 weeks. Even the Raintree location said that is weird they told me January for repairs. Even if that is the case then that should have been something mentioned to me when I came in for my initial estimate. I would have just went to the other location instead of wasting more of my time if they were that booked out. Everything happens for a reason because the Raintree location is soooo much easier to deal with and have friendlier people working there. I'm taking my car in on Monday morning for the the repairs. They were so nice and got me in immediately without any issues. read more

Having to get your car fixed is never fun but Caliber made it super easy. They were able to get me in for an estimate the same day I called to set it up, which took about 20-30 mins. The workers were incredibly nice throughout the entire process no matter who I talked too. I brought it back in for repair for a few days later. They called and texted me along the way to let me know what was going, and how much longer it would be. I never felt left in the dark while they had my car. The repair is amazing, and they also cleaned the inside of my car out super well too! Of course I don't want to need any car repairs done again, but I'd definitely come back if I do! read more

This was the worst experience ever!!!!! Caliber collision did a very rush job on my Toyota Camry.. They said it was ready to be picked up my bumpers were literally were literally falling off my vehicle the paint did not match at all... Is Paul Bradford general manager.... Seems to have lots of excuses why everything was done so poorly... Took my vehicle back so they can correct all the issues.. Got my vehicle back with more damage scratched up my front bumper overspread on my entire vehicle is vehicle over spray on my rims paint on my tire... I explained to him what happened... Paul Bradford general manager is a joke he kept making more excuses why they screwed up like twice.... How many times do I have to get up early in the morning drive down there get a rental drive back go to work they think that we can do this on the fly at any moment we have jobs we work hard for our money we expect a good quality repair.... Everything was great until recently. I had my car fixed here. The first time was in November the second time was in April. I just moved to Texas. Drove from Arizona to Texas. When I got to Dallas not even a month of being from here my cars foglight that was fixed by them fell into my car and damaged the light causing it to hit the belt line repeatedly and mess up the whole light. And, was making a horrific sound as I drove. Which is a very dangerous hazard, what if something went wrong while I was in the middle of no where driving 15 hours to get to Texas? Me being a 23 year old female, that is very unsafe. Considering I went 2 weeks without a car for them to not fix it properly? Not okay. Luckily they have warranty and I was able to get it fixed in Texas with no cost, thank god! read more

We went to Caliber Collision because they are an approved and go to direct AAA insurance Body Shop. We had service done at CC in Santa Ana, California, it was substandard, we had problems with quality and got the run around there when we asked them to fix their issue. So we asked AAA if we could use a Phoenix AZ based CC to save time, hassle and money. They referred us to CC in Scottsdale and we worked with Jim McCarthy. We are so glad we met him. Jim identified the issue and ordered parts and set up a plan immediately. He took such good care of us we were blown away. He knew his stuff and took immediate action and made sure we were happy. Jim provided the best service we have ever had for any body shop in our lifetimes. He knows the job and is great at customer service. The shop did excellent and high quality work. I brought my truck in to be repaired it was hit on the driver side, front and back door. The estimator was nice and thorough, he even went back on a second look and added a dent to the frame at the base of the door he missed originally and adjusted the quote. I didn't receive one phone call or text on progress as promised so I called myself. I was directed to the Manager, George Gardner because my estimator was no longer working there. He filled me in and apologized and said he would keep me informed. He said he didn't know why I wasn't getting the texts. I had to follow up myself several times, even had to call the insurance company to step in and help. The repairs were not done on time. I called the insurance company again. George stated there was some parts they were waiting on. When it finally was done, he promised to give it a look over before I got there. I told him I didn't want to return the rental if it wasn't done. He assured me it was. When I got there and opened the passenger door there was the dent in the frame. I was very upset, I had already returned the rental because he assured me it was complete. He tried to tell me that the adjuster didn't include it and blamed him and said that is why he was gone. I told him that was not true, I remembered him redoing the quote and found it on the paperwork. He told me he would get it fixed and would pay for the rental. They gave their information to Hertz and made the reservation for 2 more days. Finally finished it and I returned the car. I didn't write a bad review the first time, I was glad to be done with it. But I got the bill in the mail last night for the rental that Hertz was unable to collect from Caliber. I went into Caliber this morning and he just took a copy and said he would have corporate pay it. He blamed corporate and said it is their job to pay the bills not him. George does nothing but make excuses instead of taking responsibility in making sure things are done properly. Not sure why Caliber relies on him to run this shop. My whole experience was awful from start to finish. Take your vehicle anywhere else but here. read more

I took my car in last week to get an estimate on repairing the front bumper. I spoke with Richard, he said that I should pay cash since it wasn't going to cost too much more than my deductible. He also said he could lower by 50 dollars. I decided to schedule, I called Richard back he said I could drop it off on Monday and they could finish the work by Wednesday. When I came in to drop my car off, the receptionist had no record of my appointment, she finally agreed to get Richard after I explained my conversation with him last week. While waiting another customer came in and he was also told he wasn't on the schedule either??? By now I'm not feeling really confident with this company... Richard then came out, he couldn't remember anything we discussed and acted like he was doing me the favor, by working me in, not to mention saying they wouldn't be able to get my car done within the promised time frame. I decided to take my business elsewhere not a good experience, I feel like if I had my boyfriend with me I would have been taken seriously. read more
