I worked with Lina, who was very friendly and courteous. Without going into detail, she went out of her way to help me with the insurance company which helped me a lot. My rear bumper was damaged they installed a new bumper for me start to finish was 3 days. I noticed what I thought was overspray on my car... turned out to be sap/dust. They were kind enough to buff out my entire car. The staff was great from the young women in the office ( sorry cannot remember their names) were professional and friendly. I'm iffy on this place at best. We were sent there by our insurance company. Had a lot of issues getting the work done and it took way longer than they estimated. Finally got a call that the car was ready... followed shortly by a call asking how to start it. Uhm... how is it done if you can't start it??? It took 5 more days for them to say it was done, and turns out they had done nothing in that time! The body work visually looked good. Paint job was excellent - seriously... they do great painting. Frame wasn't straightened completely and wheels were off center. They made a ton of excuses about why they couldn't get it perfect (or even very close to it). They didn't put a few fasteners back on - kinda lazy. We realized when we drove the car that it wasn't right, so we took it back in the next day. They agreed it sounded off, and said they would have to have the dealership check it out. After about 3 weeks I called to find out what was going on, as we had heard nothing. Now they tell me the car can be picked up at the dealership, but they don't even know if it was fixed. what??? it's been over a month and I don't even know if anything has been repaired. pathetic way to do business. read more

I recently was in an accident and my car was rear-ended. The bumper had a lot of damage and State Farm recommended I take it to a Caliber Collision location of my choosing. This was my first time having to do anything like this, so I was flustered and nervous when I first made the call to get an estimate of the damage. Linda Estrada was the service advisor who helped me and she was amazing! She also kept her distance and wore a mask when I first met her to have the estimate done. She was very helpful every step of the way and answered every question I had. I emailed her often and she was always quick to get back to me. I really appreciated this, especially because I had so many questions about what the other person's insurance would and would not pay for. My car was ready when they promised it would be. When they brought it out to me, I was ecstatic! It looked better than it did when I dropped it off and you would never be able to tell it was hit. They cleaned the inside, outside, and made my car look shinier than it has in years. Safe to say I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience with this Caliber Collision location and definitely plan on going back if I ever need anything done with my car again. We have been to Caliber Collision 3 times since November, 2019. Our first two experiences were after being rear-ended. Our most recent experience was when our catalytic converter was stolen from our Toyota Prius. Every interaction we have had with Caliber has been positive, from the front office staff to the technicians. Everyone is friendly and compassionate and you can tell that they really want to take good care of their customers. For each job, Caliber kept us in the loop every step of the way with emails and texts about how the repairs were going and when we could expect to get our vehicles back. In fact, in each case, we got our vehicles back sooner than we were promised! While we haven't been under the car to check the cat. replacement and repair, based on the excellent job Caliber did on our vehicles' exteriors after being rear-ended, we are confident that the repairs are top notch. I'm highly recommended Caliber Collision at Hillcap location. Alfonso Ochoa at Caliber was super amazing in communicating. He gave me all the update and even sent me pictures of my car while and after repair. I am more of a texting person than phone or email, and he changed to texting to communicate with me. My point is no matter what types of communication you prefer; he will still give you a daily and satisfied update about your car. He even greeted me in my language (Vietnamese). Terrible service right as we walked in, the front desk lady didn't help us until we tried to talk to her and gave us an attitude. After I explained the situation we were in for an estimate, the lady that helped us straight up told us the insurance company in charge of our case would just trash their estimate and basically said it in a inexplicit way that they didn't want to deal with our case. Even thought the insurance company is willing to work with them on our case, they refuse to reply to our emails or get in contact with us. Super unprofessional! read more

This place is a joke. When you call their main 800 number you get different information than you get at the center. I had to wait 10 days for an appointment, and I was told by the main number that I would be dropping off my car to get both the estimate and then proceed with the repair, as they have a relationship with Farmers insurance. So, I showed up for my appointment, and I was late due to an unforeseen event, however, I didn't think it would be a big problem since I was supposed to be leaving my car there for, more than likely, several weeks while they repair it. The receptionist told me that this is strictly an estimate appointment. Well, I could've gone and gotten an estimate only, anywhere, like the place that I really wanted to go. And the receptionist acknowledged that sometimes they give wrong or erroneous information at the main number. Now she says since I'm late for my appointment she has to see if the estimator has time, which they didn't, and told me that I would need to reschedule. So I walked out, and I will never go back. They wasted 10 days of my time. read more

If you need an estimate for the damage on your vehicle, do not go here!! Especially if your insurance provider recommends them! I went to get an estimate and they said they would send it to my insurance within 24 hours. I told them I needed the estimate and I hadn't made up my mind as to where I would take my car. Almost 2 weeks had passed and no word from the body shop. Now I find out that they are making me go get another estimate again from somewhere else because this body shop never sent it in. Now 2 weeks have passed and I could have had my car back if it weren't for such a sloppy business. If you want to know the definition of what it means to go above and beyond, go to Caliber Collision on Hillcap Ave. I was t-boned by an another driver recently and was referred to Caliber by my insurance company. From the front desk personnel to the technicians, everyone was clear, communicative, friendly, and professional. While my car was in the shop, I received daily texts on the status of my car and what "stage" it was in (i.e., car panels being removed, car is now in the paint shop, etc). When I received my car back, it looked practically BRAND NEW! To top that off, the entire inside of my car was professionally vacuumed and detailed (my car was a filthy mess before!) and they changed out my battery just because they are wonderful human beings. All in all, they didn't take care of me like a regular business. They took care of me like I was a member of their family. Not having a car and dealing with the trauma of an accident is a really crummy, On top of that, as a woman you have to deal with mechanics trying to rip you off all the time. I am giving one star for the folks that sit in the office, because they are the only good thing about this place. Supposedly this place repaired $9,200 + in damage to my vehicle. Within 2 days of picking up my car from the shop, I experienced smoking under the hood. They towed my car, and notified after 24hours of having my vehicle in their possession that my right axel had leaking and that I must have caused it in the less than 48 hours of having my car. They wanted me to file a new claim with my insurance company and pay another deductible. The Tech who repaired my car did not bolt the undercarriage pan securely, causing my car to scrape even the slightest pothole or bump on road. I had my car towed to Arseen's and they completed the work plus the unfinished BS left from Caliber Collision. This place is a shit show and I guarantee you'll walk away with more issues than you did before dropping your car off to them. read more

This place is horrible and unorderly we came to drop our car off and they said they have no rental cars available through hertz and suggested that we wait at the shop for 3 hours. The team at this location is friendly, professional and practices world class customer service with every interaction. I even observed the staffs awareness for another gentleman who was waiting longer than expected for his insurance adjuster to meet him, the staff made sure to frequently check in with him while he waited. The Covid 19 mitigation protocols in place at their office made me feel comfortable and showed they take the safety of their employees and customers seriously. One thing that stood out to me is the attention to detail from breaking down the proposal and explaining labor types and quantities to detailing the vehicle after it's been repaired. I LOVE Caliber Collision. They always exceed my expectations and I always feel super comfortable and confident handing over my vehicle. People in the Bay have no regard for other people's property so - yet again- my car was scratched. I hate scratches on my black Audi SUV. Thankfully Caliber is an approved location for the perpetrator's insurance (Geico) so it was an easy decision to take my car here. Plus they have a close relationship with Enterprise Car rental. So I dropped off my car and Enterprise picked me up! They took care of the scratch in one day. Super friendly, patient, and professional. You get an option to receive text or email with updates and you aren't on long hold times if you call. Practically all the insurance companies approve of them so they have a close working knowledge with them which helps expedite claims.
